Geet works in some IT company as project manager, and he thinks that she does not know anything about medicine...I think it is you Maan who does not know anything about protection...Naadaan tum ho Maan Geet nahi...jao jaake chhullu bhar paani me doob maro...sab ko shaanti Mil jayegi...geet is nark se chhut jayegi aur pammi ka muh hamesha ke liye bandh ho jayega...

I get the character of Maan.. in the sense that yes, such people exist and as unbelievable as it may seem they really are quite clueless to anything which is not spelled in loud neon letters. I pity the women who are married to those men.. some can still bear it well enough in a conservative society where women as it is arent supposed to question men..

as for those women who need some more..i don't think I would be in the position to undertsand even a modicum of the anguish they suffer.

Its not easy for women in such society to articulate what it is that is missing from their relationship in front of their own family or society.

they would take it to be a ludicrous reason- want of companionship? The man's providing for her, is good and treats her well, what more does she want?

The women themselves might not understand what it is that they really want, unless they are like Geet here.. educated and aware.. even so its difficult to make even oneself understand that the best course of action would be a divorce. The fact that she did take that decision(and specially the manner in which she made maan realize the error in his judgement) makes me like her all the more!

In reality, men dont wake up to the fact, and that makes it even more heart-breaking.

I dont know how you will change the man that he is Muskan, since he's known nothing different, hes felt nothing different and he finds nothing amiss.. How to get through that character?
