Finally she had the guts to ask him. It is so convenient for people to hide things under the rug (be it husband or wife) than take responsibility for their actions. As much as we hate Maan for his behavior the fault lies also in the surroundings and to a very small fraction in Geet for putting up with it for so long. Not taking action when he slapped her, she let the wound fester so much; not having a war when he forced the abortion on her; now the whole limb has to be cut off completely. I cannot agree with women who quietly bardasht things because they think it is their destiny. In fact I hate the word "bardasht" as I have seen the destruction it can cause people. "Bardasht" only applies to women in case you have noticed. Unless you put obstacles even the river keeps flowing the way it wants.Where was her family or friends in this matter? Why did she never bring them into her life to help her out? Your story is an eye opener to many and hopefully anyone going thru such circumstances will find strength in what you are doing to fix their lives.Thanks for the update muskan. Love to munchkins.
