I am a little speechless after reading this chapter. Much because of the letter of course.

Tweesha, the way you've described her, I could actually make a picture of her in my head. I like her, though! Take that, boys! 😆

Ah. Opening arms Bollywood style and being a cocky jerk, I guessed this was Vicky. 😃

Four years. Four years since Geet has been in the pits of depression. Four years since the 'beast' lost something special. Four years since Vicky was gone. What happened four years ago?!

Tweesha dear, reading somebody's personal things is a bad habit! But I think after reading the title, I wouldn't have been able to resist too! 😆 It's strange how only today I saw exactly the same username you mentioned. And the picture you described sort of resemble your display picture, doesn't it? 😃

Reading the letter, I was literally trying to push back my tears and clear my throat from the emotions clogging! We, the lucky ones to have our parents around us, often take them for granted. We sometimes don't express how much we love them, only to regret it when the time is gone..! How painful it must be for someone to know that the day they were born was the day their mother died. This often leads to guilt, self hatred or just plain grief over losing the most important person of your life. For a seven year old girl to not know how to address her mother, for a girl who has so much to say but the ears she wishes would listen to her have turned deaf, oh how painful it is! 😔

Tweesha said something like 'got more than I could imagine'. What does this mean? It's not like she found out a secret or something.? She must have already known about Geet's mother. 😕

A two week wait. All I can say is, wherever you're going, and for whatever you're going, have a safe trip! You'll be missed! 😊

The start was soft and happy (kind of 😭 ) and I was smiling throughout ...Tweesha, her reactions , the hostel , room-mates and all those little little things were funny and so light-hearted but suddenly the Shooting star appeared and the letter almost made me cry.😭 Separations are painful. And the only thing that we keep saying to console ourselves is that this separation is just temporary but here probably there's no hope of meeting her mother. I wonder if this gap could ever be filled in her life. Or I might even be wrong. I'm guessing that there are many more heart-wrenching writings on the way . 😒 Let the Shooting star be friends with World-of-Dreams! Then Wod would convince Shooting star to write a letter and mail it to Wod. "Letter that was sent" you know! A funny letter filled with non-sense .😃

Since this is your last update in this year I will end my comment by sharing a funny incident which Tweesha reminded me and hence I started laughing.😆 You know, when I was in 12^th where students are usually frustrated souls , always pulling their hairs in these coaching institutes and all. There was this boy who used to share his pen-drive filled with movies with all the almost-socially-cut-students(inc. Me) of the institute. One day we took the pen-drive that has been in God knows how many hands and half of it was filled with Po*n stuff and we girls who were then not very much aware of all that stuff started Ayyayoing and we behaved as if the pen-drive was some untouchable thing and this lame thing was the hottest gossip for like I dunno how many weeks ,in that place. 😆
