Chapter 45

Nandini hired a texi to Handa Mension frm clinic.She was still in dilemma why destiny chosen her to dig past once again. Especially in front of Rano.When she (Nano) herself was the one who laid foundation for what happened with Geet 5 years back .At that time she helped her sister or ruined her life?

'Madam here is ur place' she came out of trance when driver put break.She was in front of Handa Mension.

'How to tell Massi about all this ? When she is still angry on me even with Di , for that what we both did without letting her know.But she never showed becoz she loves me as much she loves Di .' Thinking this she steeped into living area.

Inder had left for office early in the morning and Rano was out to the Mandir for Satsang.Even she had left her mobile at home.Hence no chance to call her back home soon.So she asked Mani (maid) to bring coffee for her.

'As Mani said Massi ll return in three hours at least.Untill I should talk to Lucky Veer Ji .May be unke pass koi solution ho ' She thought and dialed Lucky.He was at home and got a shock to hear what she narrated.

'Nandu what suggestion I can give. But it is true whether that child is away from us...but he is our Geet's son just like Mannat.If we can't bear Mannat's lil pains.How can we bear him in such miserable condition .We have to help .You should talk to Massi as soon as possible.I know she will show little anger but frm heart she ll feel same for him just she feels for Mannat and ll never deny to help.' Lucky's this advice some where gave lil courage to Nandini and she gathered her whole courage to talk to Rano.

Hotel Maharaja Regency

Dev was waiting for Maan from one hour but due to present developments he had been stuck in between office and hospital and Dev he was not able to help him even if he wants.

'Sorry I got late' sitting on chair Maan apologized

'Don be sorry bro I can understand. How is Rehaan now ?' consoling brother Dev asked.

'Kehne ko to he is alrite but internally he is fighting for life.Mera bacha he is not aware in which situation he is.But I know my boy is a fighter' His eyes got wet.

Lucky was unaware that Geet was overhearing his convo on phone.He got rooted to spot.

'Geet u ?' gulping saliva he said

'Ji veer ji me.Kush to samjh aa gaya mujhe baaki aap bata dejiye.U and Nandu were discussing about my son.boliye' she yelled ' mera bacha jiske liye main aaj tak tadap rahi hu.Kay hua usse' she held him from both arms.

'Geet calm down .U r not well.Aur is haalat main tumko apne baare main aur apne bache k baare main sochna chahea' he tried to calm her down

'Apne bache k baare sochna chahea.Then whose child he is.Wo bhi to mera bacha hai.Meri Mannat ka saga bhai.Boliye baat kya hai' she jerked him with full force.

He explained each a every thing to her and she fell on floor hearing this.

'Veer Ji mujhe abhi Delhi jaana hai .Plz arrange the next possible flight .My child needs me.He needs his sister ' she started to scram

Some how Lucky consoled Geet and arranged tickets to Delhi.Preeto Massi not let Geet go alone so Lucky accompanied both Geet and Mannat to Delhi

In Handa Mension Rano was back home after three hours where Nandini was waiting for her and hesitatingly she told whole incident to Rano

'Nandu r u mad.Tum fir se Geet ko ussi raaste per le kar jaana chahti ho.'Rano burst

'Massi I know u r still angry on me and Di but now situation is different it is question of a child's life'

'Five years back it was question of Inder's life when Geet took this big step.She ruined herself to save her family.Now again' She fell on couch

'I know Mausi we both took decision without letting u know that's why I came here to ask u to consult u.But Mausi don say no this time.Ek zindgi bach sakti hai is kadam se.' when she begged in front of Rano she started to recollect things how Geet ruined herself to save Handa empire and her father

Five years back when Inder the top name in hotel business in North India had major heart attack.He gave his power of attorney to his brother Karam Singh.But he took advantage of this and turned whole empire to his side.Geet just had taken admission in MBA in IIM Hyderabad so it was not possible for her to take care of business such soon.So Karam became successful.

At that time Nandini was doing her MBBS from Bangalore and Dr. Shilpa was also working in Bangalore at that time.Dr Shilpa daughter of an old Handa Hotel employee was financially very weak so when she was doing her Medical degree Handas helped her very much so now she was helping Nandini in her studies too.

Dr Shilpa she was junior to Dr Gulati.At same time Dr Anu referred Maan's case to Dr Gulati as Maan wanted to get his job done away from Delhi to not let anybody know. When Dr Gulati was searching for such a girl how Maan demanded Nandini came to know this through Dr Shilpa.

For Inder's cardiac surgery and to hire a good advocate to get Handa empire back Geet needed money and she had already heard about Maan's case from Nandini so she presented herself for this work without letting her parents know.Becoz she was away from them.

Maan gave 40 lakhs in advance .When Rano asked from where they arranged such amount Nandini told lie that she sold a plot her mother kept for her studies and Rano can give money back after they ll get their empire back.Rano never doubted them both and Geet became that lady chosen for Maan's case.

It was god's wish or what no body knew when this case started .Dr Gulati got invitation from American University as a visiting professor and she was not ready to loose this opportunity. Before this secret got disclosed that Geet had twins she left for US handing over Maan's case to Dr Shilpa.

When Dr Shilpa disclosed this to Geet that she had twins she made her mind to keep a child with her becoz after this her life was going to be change and she decided not to get married .Due to the help Handas given to Shilpa ..she kept this a secret and when Mannat and Rehaan born Geet kept Mannat and gave Rehaan to Maan .

But neither Maan nor Geet met once...Inder's surgery was a success and a good solicitor with high fee helped to get their empire back but Geet she paid a high cost for this.Inder and Rano totally got shattered but sacrifice their daughter did that bent them on knees in front of her.She lost every thing her dreams to do MBA from top Indian school ...her parents dream to give her a good match..but they were unhappy why she kept Mannat.

Geet she was too stubborn she cleared her intentions to raise her Mannat alone.When Mannat was just two month old she shifted to Canada and started to live with her Bua. From her Bua's accent to call herself 'Hum' Mannat adopted same.But with every passing day Geet missed her son and one day she became a depression patient

Geet started to do job there and with this part time MBA.Inder and Rano visited Canada so many times.But continuous request of her parents forced her to come back and she was in India after five years.

'Massi Massi ' when Nandini jerked Rano she came out of trance

'Nandini how we ll tell Geet all about this'

'Massi we have to think some solution so that we can save a life'

'Fir se kaise main Geet ko wo sabh yaad dilau'she started to sob

'No need to make me remember when main kush bhulli he nahi' Geet was in front of them with lucky and Mannat after two hour journey from Chandigarh to Delhi

'I don want to listen any thing more.Nandu mujhe uske pass le challo.I wanna c him once.I can't let him die...My child' she scrammed and again came under effect of fit.

'Geet ' every body got shocked Nandini held her in arms and then Lucky made her lay on couch

'Massi iska sirf ek solution hai jo hota hai hone dejiye.Let Geet face father of her kids'Lucky said

'Lucky r u mad agar unhone Mannat ko cheen liya Geet se socha hai kya hoga' Rano yelled and jerked Geet to bring her back to senses

'If some thing happens to that boy Massi that condition is more worse so let Geet di face them' Nandini folded hands

'Theek hai do what ever u decide .U did what u wanted aab main kon hoti hu' saying this she again jerked Geet and she came out of fit.Now which was a very common thing for family they knew Geet always over come from such fit within few minutes and not always doctor needed.

'Nandu plz take me' Geet half consciously said

'Okey Di I ll take u let me talk to Dr Shilpa' she said ' ho sakta hai koi rasta nikal aaye without facing Mannat's father kaam ho jaaye and unko kush pata bhi na chale' (ST) and she dialed Dr Shilpa
