i also want to add one thing...the actual announcement of Dev as CEO is a masterstroke in itself...he is out of NT's cluthces...Maan will guide him and hence can aleays steer him...he will gain self confidence...Maybe even Meera will do wonders as a company...also as a head architect, Maan gets a cahnce to meet all clients and strngthn KC's current weakness himself...so all in all a brilliant step...

the only bit i felt about was guilt of Geet...poor girl deserves better than that...

as much as an enigma maan may be.. super brilliant n evrythng,
his behavior wid geet.. smhw doesnt fit in considering d way he was wid her b4.
dev n geet misunderstood him wrt sasha.. bt tht doesnt justify his behavior.
as much as his excellence wid business sense may b.. he falls.short in earning d trust of his loved ones..

From the other side of my brain comes the question about Geet.. How disappointing(not the right word) it must be for Maan that someone who worships you finds you so flawed. I think reality checks are neccessary but this one is a whammy. Why is she acting like he is a hero in a movie who will sweep her away from all her worries? Aren't you supposed to marry the complete package, in sickness and health? Her characterization is making me wonder if she is right for him, from the practical and strong Geet we are seeing someone who is wrecked with possessiveness and jealousy almost not at all like she used to be; all her rationale and logic have fled her. Now that they have had a physical relation, I am wondering, is he ever going to be enough for her, if after two days their relation had not changed. Where did the trust go, where did the support she offered unconditionally go?

Hmmm... suffice to say I am not really astounded by Maan as much as I feel repelled by both Maan and Geet today. Then again, there's nothing out of worldly in the portrait. Perceived from within the framework of a hard driving business individual who thinks in terms of moving and shaking his empire, this is the most realistic portrait as can be. Not all business men are casanovas who bed a 1000 girls and fly airplanes and print calendars. Heh. (just not in an emoticon mood after the update)

I have never been repelled by an act of sex (I wouldn't dare to say making love) between Maaneet so far. So like always this story has managed to broaden my horizons vis-a-vis Maaneet. This surely was more than consensual sex and yet, I felt I could have walked into the library and read Tolstoy rather than indulge even vicariously in sex of this kind.

This was Geet's deflowering so to say. How deeply disturbing, prosaic and unwanted. Disgusting. She wanted him. She had insecurities. He suddenly seems to lack emotional quotient where required (he had no lack of that in Sasha's case, mind you) and has a headache. She needs sex. He gives her sex. Bravo, Maan! How kind of you!

And Geet, how pathetic! She's fine with this? I guess she thinks this is the only way to go about it. A mechanical 1,2,3 Ready Steady Go? Or maybe this is how it always is except in romantic fiction and this is as realistic as it gets! Wah woman! I know she is naive. But this? Damn! No woman should be as pathetic as this! But then again, she is an orphan dammit! With just Maan to call her own! This is how he thinks is the best way to support her?!!! She just needs one kind word! Some 5 minutes of attention! In fact she is the most undemanding and low maintenance kind as can be! She just needs some emo talk! Oh lord! Sheesh, you'll turn me in to a feminist... something I've never known to be!

Speaking from a third person perspective as detachedly as I can: What did I expect a tycoon businessman to be? A loopy droopy romantic idiot spouting udru shayari and making passionate love under the sunset on a beach? BAH!

Boy, do glass menageries shatter and like FAST!

That said, the way Geet sort of built her own mountains out of the molehills (or are they mountains? sigh!) did raise some smiles. And Chief Architect. Hmmm... and Dev as CEO. That's some shaking up again of structure. All said and done, moral of the story: Don't enter into a relationship with a successful businessman if you can help it!

I love this story but I have to say that the latest update was very disturbing. The way u showed maan and geet came together,the way maan took geet virginity was so mechanical and dark sort .geet for some reason have lost the purity and the spunk she had and of course the reason is the great MSK.

I pity geet and feel Sasha is lucky enough to get out of MSK dark spell.yes Sasha used MSK for her benefits so have maan ,damn even MSK made her kill her own child.the only time I have seen some emotion from MSK side is when he thinks abt his dead embryo of a kid whom he himself killed but he shows no emotions when it comes to the living peps who lives around him and for him.

Ruthless is the word for MSK ,damn I dont even like calling him as maan now as he seems no human to me at this moment.I won't b astonished if I see in future geet getting all emotional caring from dev and just mechanical f... k from her so called husband .one thing MSK said abt.him was he a predator who preys over innocent girls ,big eg being geet.hell geet was tryin to make him a bit of human but he successfully changed her into a robot for himself who thinks the kind of intimacy he provided is alright.

Maan have just engulfed geet into his darkness that he vanquished the very light of purity from geet whom he thinks he loves her.

MSK just used geet to bring dev out of his shell and then got dev to throw Sasha out of his life as she was of o use.he have learned wht ever he wanted to learn frm Sasha and in the process had her for his sexual needs and now he have geet to play with as his new toy.He is sharp enough to put all his wrong doings at others door steps and redeem himself in his family eyes.

😆 I had to vent this out .phew now I feel bit better.
