You guys are killing me in here! Law was the one thing my family expected out of me and I think out of rebellion I proclaimed my interest in medicine🤣. Haven't started college yet thought.
mollycoddle: I can't say if I am fooling you or if my parents are fooling me🤣. I have these eureka moments when everything clicks, and I'm just blessed enough to have general knowledge to allow those sudden bursts of surprise brain power😆.Well I've never set foot in India, so I can't say whether it is so or not. However it would comeback to the mindset of the people instilled from the days of colonial rulership and the years before that when kings from those richer eras ruled. It's not something that will just be broken. In those times people learnt to survive, and survival meant eking out a meager living from the resources the kings, and British were willing to offer. As generations passed on, parents instilled it in their children that to survive meant keeping your head down and not challenging those in charge. That's where things go wrong. As I mentioned before, it's not about being willing to work for someone else but about knowing when to step outside of your role and make your voice heard or actions noted. Isn't that why people like Ghandi and Nelson Mandela were feared? They stood firm against the pressure where others remained contented to follow the chain of command even in the face of injustice. Maan is not some dictatorial ruler, but rather a visionary who sometimes gets lost in the vision and forgets about the people around him. That's why people like Geet, Daadi and Dev are needed in his life. To give him tap on the head when he has gone too far. They certainly aren't subservient in nature, but they know that there is a time to stand firm and a time to bend one's back.
