Oh please girl, as if I can't see that proud smile on your face!

So a strange sort of coincidence occurred yesterday. The sort that makes you pause for a minute and just marvel at its strangeness while thinking corny, life-affirming things.

Hours of silence. Just her alone, at the mercy of the thoughts she was to carry close to herself for the rest of her life. It was both an exciting and terrifying prospect.

Sometimes all we say that we need to be left alone but at the end we crave for a company, although we won't acknowledge it. The worst enemy anyone could have is oneself, filled with thoughts that could choke us, make us want to run away from everyone and our self.
The driver's concern had me surprised, since we have a narrow minded impression about Drivers of an alien city in general, and it was a punch in the gut.

That was a line which left me emotionally charged. At times of distress, don't we see the whole world through a tinted glass? Where everything we find is a shade darker?

Her eyes widened as she became aware of a creeping sense of foreboding within her.

I believe in gut feelings, I could hence understand her fear and nervousness but I hope the sense of foreboding she received would only give her life an unexpected albeit beautiful turn :)

And the taxi driver's concern reminded me that not all are scheming evils around us... Good souls still exist!

Man is a social animal. Even the extreme introvert people crave company at times. Especially at times of distress and when they're emotionally vulnerable, their thoughts divert towards the negative, just like Geet thought of the loneliness in her life and she believed it will remain with her forever! And at such times, the gut feeling and the instincts are often pointing towards something, in the eyes of the sufferer, that is. Something as simple as losing a coat button can become a trigger of anger towards oneself, just like it happened with Geet.

Okay, just ignore whatever I said in this comment because it's making no sense, even to me! 😆

One of very beautifully written chapters in this wonderful story..Let me tell you few lines that i totally looovvveeeddd...

Oh tearing of button also became symbolic for Geet...it happens sometimes dull, mundane or trivial things looks like its foretelling something😊

And this must be what Vidya Balan felt like when she got off the plane in Kahaani... 😛. I loved that movie!
