PART 27

The MIT fests last for 3 days. First day involved quizzes, debates elocations etc..second day for tablos, painting etc.. and the finale with dance music and drama.

That morning Mira was getting ready for the inaugration when she heard her dad talk over the phone, "The guy is powerful..and the Khuranas are mighty. U just get him alive break his nose, leg or watever. I just want him to breath and then i will force him to marry my daughter."

Mira was terrified. She knew that her father was upto something but she never ever thot that he would go to this xtend. The previous day he had created a havoc over those stupid mails of them together. But she never thot that it would affect Maan in this way. She had to inform him. She rushed to college. She searched for him everywhere but he was no where to be found.

Meanwhile the whole MIT was in a festive mood. The student council was way too busy as the inaugration was about to begin in a few hours. Geet was busy cross-checking all the arrangements. She was walking through the corridor when a strong hand pulled her into one of the lecture halls.

Geet : wat r u doin Maan?

Maan : U left me with no other way. (he said closing the door)

Geet : stop it. someone will..

Maan : we need to talk..

Geet : Cmon there s nothing left...

Maan held her by her arms and pinned her to the wall.

Maan : I didn't ask you..

Geet : and wat makes you think i will do wat you say..

Maan : U wont have any other option...

Geet : wat ?r u threatening me?

Maan : Geet wat the hell is ur problem? even after all this i came here to sort things out and still u r not even leaving your ego..

Geet : oh! so u r doin me a favour talking to me..(she tried to get rid of his grip..but he held her waist crushing her in his hold. Their lips were inches apart and their heartbeats rose in sync with each other. And when their eyes met they just forgot what they had to say.

He realised he was intimidatingly close and let her loose. They straightened up and she was about to leave when he called her, " Geet...wo competition ke kuch things lene me farm house ja rha hu. kya tum mere sath aoge?"

Geet : why dont u take ur new friend Mira with you??

She just left the place. She was irritated to the core. He still believed she was behind all this. And Maan on the other hand was fuming with anger. He decided to forget and forgive and still she is throwing tantrums..and wats with this new friend Mira and all.. she hs gone crazy...

He left in his jeep.

NT was watching with an evil smile as Maan left. Finally she got to separate the love-birds. She never thot her idea of sending those pics to Mr. Kapur would create this much impact. Now she just needs to spice it up.

And then came the right time. She saw Mira searching for Maan.

Mira : NT tumne Maan ko dekha?

NT : dn knw...may be Geet knows...

Mira didn't know wat to do. But this was not the time for egos. She had to save Maan. She ran to Geet and this time even she felt Geet wont be that evil to send those photos again.

Mira : Geet where is Maan..

Geet : he is n farm house. U lukd worried. everything ok?

Mira ran away without giving a reply. Geet stood their hurt.

NT was having the fun of a lifetime.

Tasha : wat r u goin to do?

NT: just spicing it up baby...(she made a call) hello delhi police?? i have an information regarding immoral traffic. Plss note down the address, Khuranas farmhouse, Mehrauli road..

Tasha : NT wat r u doin?? This can ruin their life..

NT : so wat? if Maan cant be mine, he wont be anyone else's. And those girls they deseve this.

She stomped away.

Tash couldn't support. This was overboard. She cant let this happen. She needed to do something. She tried to meet Geet but couldn't find her anywhere. Finally she dropped her a msg.

Tasha : Maan and Mira r in trouble.

Geet somehow found Tasha. She told her everything about NT and her wicked deeds.

Geet : usko to me thikane laungi. Bt i hv to find a proof.uskey bina koi mujh par yakin nhe karega. but pehle mujhe Maan aur Mira ko bachana hoga.

Meanwhile Mira reached farm house.

Maan was surprised to find her there.

Maan : wat happened Mira? r u ok??

Mira : dad is after u. He will harm you..u need to be in a safer place..

Maan : okk just sit down and relax. Ur father knows this place. If he comes here and see us together...it wont be gud. unka shaq yakeen me badal jayega. U better go.

Just then the door bell rang. Maan opened the door. He wondered wat cops wanted from them.

Maan : wats the matter sir??

Cop: we got an info. There is some immoral trafficking here..

Maan : wat the...there is nothing of that sort..

Just then Mira came out.

Mira : who s there Maan??

The cop seemed pleased.

Cop: ah...so i was not wrong...there we got our people.

Maan : This is a misunderstanding. Luk officer I can xplain...

Cop : U can xplain it in the police station.

Maan : Do u even know whom you r takin to?

Cop: I know very well the spoilt brats like you...just cmon..Arrest them..

Maan : ok you can take me but leave the girl alone...

Cop: that we will decide. Take them...

They reached the station. Maan tried to argue with the policeman but he was not budging. He lukd at the officer's nameplate that read Amit Shetty.

Maan : Mr. Shetty i need to talk to my lawyer.

Shetty : ofcourse but 1st i will have to file the FIR..then the case goes to court and then you can talk to your lawyer.

Now that was the limit for Maan. He held Shetty by his collar.

Maan : wat is your problem, huh?? I had been talking to you all the time and you dont even want to hear?

Shetty : how dare you touch a policeman? constables,

Just then the Asst. commissioner came to the station.

ACP : Mr. Khurana! ap yeha kaise??

Shetty immediately saluted ACP.

Maan : i am the chairperson of MIT.We have a fest in our college. I had kept my props at my farmhouse. We went there to get them but Mr. Shetty brought us here at the charge of immoral trafficking.

ACP : wats all this Shetty? Do u even know who he is??

Shetty: sir i got information..

ACP : who gave it?

Shetty : a girl..

Both Maan and Mira were shocked.

ACP : to action lene se pehle verify to kar lo ek baar. Release them immediately.

Shetty: yes sir.

ACP : Really sorry for the trouble Mr. Khuarana!

Maan : its ok ACP sir. Infact i should thank you.

ACP : No..its actually Mr. Handa who informed me at the right time.

Maan didn't know wat to believe and wat not. One thing was sure. Someone was after them. They need to figure it out soon. His thots came to an abrupt end as they stepped out of the station.

Yash, Mr. Kapur, Juliet mam, His mom...and some media people were all waiting for them. Mira broke into tears.. Pinky ran to console her. Maan lukd at Geet. She seemed so worried about him. Yet her eyes were cold and expressionless as they met him...as if she had shut all the gates for him. This was harder for him than all that he had gone through.
