So true!! Those people who PRETEND to understand every damn thing uttered by the lecturer!!! I sometimes feel like putting a cap with a bell on their heads..Seriously I have an army of such Noddies with me n the worst part..the lecturers actually buy their sham of understanding everything!! WHAT!!!..were u never at school youself..huh😡😡 N there are others who actually have a doubt that has to be cleared just at the verge of break..No cursing can stop them😭
PS: Rita!!!!! I mean seriously???that sounds alien...*looking around* who is Rita...err me😲😕😳 HA Ha Not bad for the beginners though😃 About the song...umm ...let me hear it on you tube first..then we will decide... Maar Diya Jaye Ya Chhod Diya Jaye😉

Well in my case..I prefer finished stories because I have to travel a lot..on an average four hours a day. N reading a finished story helps me sail through the journey easily...I need something to finish in one go😊 Ahh...Irrevocably yours definitely makes you laugh..I mean 'you smell like a pig, scream like a banshee, sleep like a man...n still i love you' 😆 Amazing work!!! Never had I thought that this same story will make me cry as i reach the end👏

PS: So here I finished reading another of your suggestion...Age of Love. When you mentioned you cry every time you read it...I thought this deserves a try. The first thing that bowled me over was how symbolically the chapters were named..from Spring to Winter😊 n not the mention the beautiful poems...seems like a master piece..Sanjana is really a gifted author. Till the autumn...I was like okay...its definitely an emotional story...but look Mariam I am not crying😉 But then came the chapter 4..WINTER!!!! You have no idea how much did I cry😭 I was telling myself Sarita...Stop crying...for god sake...its just a fiction!!! but i could not stop myself!!! I was actually complaining to God...why do they have to endure so much...why 😆 I know I am sounding like a complete jerk but still loved the story thoroughly!! a BADA wala Biggie thanks Mariam for this suggestion😊

By the way after this hugely emotional story I am in a dire need to read something light. Any suggestions in this genre???😊

That line form Irrevocably Yours made me laugh even now, when you quoted them! 😆 Amazing work, indeed! 😊 I still haven't read the last chapter yet, which I think is the most important one in this story, so I'll get back to you with my reviews over it once I'm done with it. 😊

So, you read Age Of Love? That's great! 😊 Yes, the names of the chapters and the poems also captures my attention first thing. They are so aptly named and the poems are beautiful! I understand that you didn't cry till the third chapter. I didn't either until its last line. 😉 It was the last chapter that made me cry the most and no, I don't think of you as a jerk for asking God why they had to endure so much because I did exactly like that! 😆

And, you're always welcome! 😊

Something light-hearted? I would suggest you read Sanjana's OSs. Excluding Thinking Of You and The One That Got Away. The rest are really light-hearted. Insatiable, A Day With Mrs. Khurana and Lessons For Mr. Khurana. You might like them after reading Age Of Love! 😊 But but but, let me warn you, they have mature content. So if you don't want to read that, don't read the stories I mentioned. 😊 Other than this, I think Jazzerette's The Yellow Dot Of Eternal Joy has many traces of comedy. You can read that if you wish. 😊

Love.

im really sry to be rude, but rite now i really wanna shout at you!!! hey dear, u made me read age of love and now im crying like a small baby...that was a very beautiful love story. thanks a lot for recommending. and ya, i was just kidding about shouting at you. the ss was really beautiful.

hi dear the many ffs i read till now, i really loved surrogate relationships, my dark lover, kagaz ki kashthi, lust for revenge. of all my favourite is my dark lover...this story is quite bold, but the way the writer expressed each and every feeling, believe me, i did not cry, but it took me day to get over the story. u know the feeling that something was left unachieved...i felt like that for some days but then gradually understood the depth of the story. actually there are many more ffs, but the writers have deleted them and i dont think we'll have the opportunity to read them. for eg anshras devil's desire is said to be a masterpiece, i dont think i will be able to read that ever!!

Hey! Welcome aboard! :)

I am sorry to have made you cry. But don't worry, I exactly know how it feels after reading Age Of Love, so no worries for shoutong at me! :D You can read some light-hearted stories just to stave off the depressing feeling. And thanks a lot for the suggestions! Will definitely try them out. :)

Oh! I am also a very bad retorter. Have never been able to think of a good retort at the right time! Baad mein hi dimagh chalta hai! :D Shikha suggested a nick. You could use that because IMO it's a ton better than Saru!

SO yep I am kind of really confused.
PS: I was thinking to edit the first post of the thread and include all the links shared so far...would be helpful for other people visiting the thread. They dont actually need to go through our discussions😛 What say??

I miss them too! It was fun watching them plan and plot and then watching their expressions when their plans backfired! :D

Okay, so none of the writers are familiar to you? Then you could just start off with the first suggestion. *shrugs*

BTW, it's a great idea to add the links in the first post. Everybody doesn't need to go through our discussions as you said. :)

Ha ha! That's one custom which is being followed without fail! Only a few break it. :D

And when you wrote there 'Noddy', I instantly pictured the cartoon which used to be played on TV where the tiny guy was named Noddy. :D

Yes, these people are present almost everywhere. I had many of them in my classes too. I was always left wondering if they understood everything or not because I surely couldn't understand most of the times! And it gets so annoying when because of such 'intelligent' or 'encouraging' students, the teacher takes much more time than necessary! :/
