Chamba - MG Songfics [Updated]

There are times when you hear a song and your thoughts run astray. It compels you to visualize and scenes unfolds on their own accord.

This was one such song for me. But what was unique about this song was my mind would interpret it in two different ways every time I would hear it. I was sure I wanted to pen down the story eventually, the that remained was which version should I go with.

I gave up and decided to write both.

These are two different sides to a beautiful valley. A valley that shrouds every ache in its divine serenity. A valley that brings a restless heart to peace.

The starting of the story, bought a smile on my face. The chiding, the silly rules, which everyone knows are silly, and no one would follow anyway, the rambling of the conductor, everything seemed so real.

I may sound like a broken record but you definitely paint a scene before our eyes. His lying on the bus top, closing his eyes with anticipation, embracing rain, his excitement of getting back home; the perfect mindset of a Soldier.

With every step he took, my heart beat raised, and I felt that strange excitement too. How can one not when we are seeing through the mind of an expecting father? A man who wanted to see his wife and child?

And then..

..when he finally reached his home, expecting to see both of them sound and safe, he was left with one of them.

A gain and a loss.

You know, I never am really a cry-reading-books, or cry-watching-movies person. I rarely have wet eyes. Very very rarely. Just like today.
First of all I love mohit chahuhan and though I don't know what the exact meaning is, the song stirred something in me.
And when he finally sank to his knees hugging his baby close, and when Dadi repeated that one line, I couldn't stop myself..

I don't hate you for writing this, naah. Never. Such things do happen as you told me. But I do want to hit you for writing something so beautifully. I can't even hate you and this beautiful piece of work.
