PART 01

Handa Mansion which was decorated with lights and color papers and flowers.The courtyard was decorated with numerous color papers and flowers as the marriage function was going on in the place.The guests were busy sitting and talking with the relatives and friends and they were busy waiting for the bride and bridegroom to come to the mandap.

The courtyard was decorated with numerous color rangolis which was drawn by the bridegroom's cousins who were talking and laughing with each other and was enjoying the environment.The baraat came to the doorstep of the handsome mansion with the bridegroom who was handsome and well built.He had black eyes and long white nose,flattened lips with stubble.His name is Dev Rathore.

He wore white color sherwani with red turban and held a sword sideways and sat on the horse with attitude.The relatives anf family was dancing and coming to the Handa mansion.The cousins of Bride saw the baraat and said running inside,"Baraat aagayi...baraat aagayi maasi...!!!"A woman said turning smiling with excitement,"Baraat aagayi...!!!!!!"It was Rano Handa the bride's mother.Rano took the aarti thali and went to the dehleez of Handa mansion.

The Bridegroom Dev climbed down fm the horse and stood in front of his would be mother in law.Rano did aarti and put the teeka and pulled his nose immediately it was a custom and poor Dev was struck with all teasing he didn't know that this would be coming.Then Dev entered the Handa mansion and went towards the courtyard where the mandap was set up.

Mohinder and Rano welcomed the baraat and took them to hv some food while Dev was been seated in mandap.The bride's cousins teased Dev so much when his eyes searched for his bridegroom.Dev was laughing and smiling with the cousins then panditji said to Rano to call the bridegroom.

A girl of now 18 yr old came down walking carefully with baby steps wearing those heavy wedding attire with heavy jewellers.She was Geet Handa who had loved Dev Rathore when they both saw each other in her cousins marriage.Geet wore heavy jewellers with necklace and long chain..she also wore heavy kundan works designed wedding attire.

Geet wore a dozen glass bangles with gold bangles in border in each hands she wore chuda and paayal which tingled when she walked towards the mandap.Dev saw the beauty with mouth hanging open as it was coming towards him.Dev smiled shamelessly thinking that this thing was only his..only his...!!!!

Geet slowly came and sat beside Dev and she lowered her eyes with shy not meeting his eyes.Dev on the other hand admired the beauty which was sitting beside him.Dev saw her and smiled naughtily while Geet shied immediately seeing his naughty eyes.The panditji started the rituals and they stood for pheras.They did the 7 rounds and sat immediately and Dev put the mangalsutra around Geet's neck and sindhoor on her forehead.

Now she was officially Mrs. Dev Rathore and she was smiling with happiness which had no bounds as she had the most precious gift she had.Geet and Dev were given blessings by elders and congratulations by cousins.Now came the suhaagraat part but before that Mohinder came and said to Dev,"Bete..aapko phone hai...army se...!!!"

Dev took the phone and said,"Sir...!!!!!...Yes sir...No sir...mein abhi tayaar ho kar aata hoon...!!!!"Dev kept the phone and said to curious Mohinder with sadness,"Mujhe jaana hoga...mujhe mera farz bulaava dediya hai...!!!!"Mohinder said patting,"Chinta mat keejiye bete jab tak wahan se waapis nahin aayenge Geet humaare yahan hi rahegi...!!!!"Dev went and tole everything to Geet and Geet was in the verge of tears that it was the day of their marriage and he's going to Army.

Dev kissed her forehead and said,"Don't worry jaan...wil come back and wil take u home fm here...!!!"Dev wore his uniform and went from there taking his jeep towards the border where he hv to post himself.

But after one day of her marraige the news came that Dev is dead fighting with the enemy and the military people came with his dead body carrying on his shoulder.Geet ran downstairs to see the last time of his face and she sat there completely blank.

Precap-Dev's funeral and Dev's parents saying Mohinder to get Geet married once again.

kya yaar kya iss gadhe dev ko dlna jaroori tha. wen he said geet jaan me feel like throwng..
kya yaar mujko lga kuj suspns hoga bt ab lgta hai ye story may be or not bt geet ke dev ke intzaar mai jayegi..
