Part 9
Geet was shocked seeing Maan in that state. She quickly called an ambulance and went to the hospital with Maan. She looked up and prayed to god
'babaji, please merey Maan ko tikh kardijeye'
They reached the hospital half an hour later where Maan was taken into the operation theatre. She was called Khurana Mansion. Nakul picked up. At that point Meera and Vikrant had just arrived home. They had sent Gurvinder to find Rajji and Titto. They knew they were Geet's weak points and they knew what Vikram looked like as well.
'Hello Main Hospital se bol rahi hu, Mr Maan Singh Khurana ka accident hogaya hai. Please aap jaldi se Delhi Hospital aajaye' Geet said quickly putting the receiver down. Vikrant who had taken the call from Nakul was shocked. He and Meera rushed to the hospital.
It had been a while since Geet had called the Mansion and noone had turned up. So she had called Adi as well. She didn't know who will, Dadima, Dev Naintara. She shuddered at the names of the last two especially Naintara. She was so worried about Maan. She kept crying. She went to the bathroom and looked at the mirror and was shocked to see her forehead parting stained with blood. She looked at it and was shocked. She flashbacked to how she found the taweez and then Maan and then he touched her forehead and coincedently filled her maang as well.
'babaji, kyun aise sapne dekha rahi ho, jo saach nahi hosakta' She walked out and a nurse came to her. She gave some forms to sign.
'humhe koi family wala ka sign chahiye..'Geet didn't want a delay in Maan's treatement so she signed it. The nurse looked at her
'Geet.. kya? Aap ka rishta kya hai inke saath' Geet signed it as Geet not Reet Sharma. The Geet that she used to when She used to be at Khurana COnstrutions and with Maan. She looked in the mirror and said PATNI. The nurse wrote that down as Geet stared at her maang.
Geet from a distance saw Adi Pinky, Meera and another unknown face arriving but looking at his structure and face, Geet felt like he was some relative of Maan. She decided to hide.
Later that afternoon, Maan had gained conciousness.
'Bro, how are you?' Asked Vikrant. Maan turned to him and the others and said
'Geet yaha ti.. Usne mujhe bachaya, usne mujhe hospital lekar ayi ti.. Geet' GGeet was standing at the mirror when Maan put his arm up and pointed at her. Geet with tears in her eyes ran away. The others turned and missed her. Meera picked up his file and asked the nurse who admitted him. She replied a girl and she signed as his wife. Meera picked up the file and showed Maan and Vikrant and Adi and Pinky saw it.
'usne to hospital forms pe sign bhi kiya hai'said Vikrant.
'matlab wohi Geet hai.. lekin hum se door kyun bag rahi hai' asked Meera.
Geet reached airport quickly and confirmed her flight to Shimla which was in two hours. She knew she had to run but she had to make sure Maan was alright. So she called the hospital reception. At that point Maan was being released as he was fine. Meera and Vikrant were helping Maan.
'Hello' The nurse picked up. Geet asked if the man she brought earlier was fine.
'jee woh yaha hai.. ek minute' The nurse turned to Maan and told him it was a call but by then Geet had disconnected. Vikrant took the call and answered back. They found out it was from the domestic airport. They all rushed to the airport.
Geet was sitting at the waiting room waiting for her flight which had half hour hour. She received a call from Vikram.
'Hello Geet kaha hu, tum tik to ho na'
'ha main tik hu, main woh, airport pe ho, flight ka interzaar.. Sia kaise hai..'
'Sia bilkul tik hai.. tum jaldi se yaha aajao phir hum apne shaadi ka muraat nikal denge'
'ha.. tik hai' Geet put the phone down and got up to go to the information desk to ask about the flight when she felt something. She felt a wind that Maan was nearby. That he was here.
At the airport Maan was asking about Geet as was Meera and Vikrant. Maan walked towards where Geet was and felt her presence. Adi and Pinky followed.
Geet He thought and he turned and walked to where his heart was telling him to go. Meera saw Maan and followed him dragging Vikrant.
'Geet' Geet turned from the information desk and was shocked. Meera was shocked. Vikrant was shocked.
Maan looked up and thanked babaji. Vikrant looked at Maan and Geet. Meera was in tears. Adi was happy to see his friend cum sister. Pinky her sister as well.
But Geet's eyes was on Maan and Maan on Geet's both were remembering their flashbacks. Geet was starting to walk to him but stopped as she remembered the flashbacks with Vikram and Sia.
Pinky walked towards her and hugged her with tears.
'Geet, mujhe yakeen nahi horaha tum tik ho.. zinda ho' Geet just controlled her feelings and clenched her hands as she saw Adi. She saw Maan standing with tears in her eyes.
'roh mat Pinky dekho, tumhari bachpan ki dost, tumhari behen Geet zinda hai' Adi said patting her back.
'chal na Geet,, papa dekhenge to khushi se paagal hojayenge' Pinky said.
At that point Maan walked forward as well. Meera held Vikrant's hand tight hoping for the best unconciously. Geet saw the pain emotion and love in his eyes. She decided she had to be strong. She pulled Pinky out of the hug forcefully and looked at everyone.
'yeh kya naatak laga rakha hai' Geet said. Everyone was shocked. Why would Geet act indifferent? There nothing to fear now all her apne were here.
'LAST CALL SHIMLA BOARDING CLOSES IN 5 MINUTES'
'ab tum log ke naatak main mere flight miss hojayenge' She turned to leave and tripped.
'GEET' Maan said as he ran as Geet fell into his arms. Both stared at eachother as they remembered all the times Geet fell into his arms...in hoshayapur, in office, after the office party, when Geet came to live at the outhouse and so on. Both there eyes reflecting pure love and pain. Everyone looked at them and was happy seeing the scene. Geet remembered how Maan never let her fall. She heard the plane take off and was shocked and got up. she remembered Vikram and got up.
At that point when Geet turned to leave Adi grabbed her hand and said
'Geet, hum sab jantey hai, tum naatak bohot aacha karte ho lekin ab naatak bandh karo please Geet tum dekh nahi sakti hum sab, especially Maan ka haal tumhara bina kaisa hai' Adi hoped to make Geet understand but only saw confused eyes as Geet hid her emotions carefully.
'Tum Maan ko nahi janti. Unne nahi pehchanti'
'Maan, Kya, I don't know anyof you.' Geet replied as calmly as possible.
'Kya kehrahi ho tum Geet' Pinky said shocked.
'Dekhi mujhe dheer horahi hai' Geet turned to go to the information desk for the last flight when Vikrant grabbed her hand.
'Geet Handa, haina tumhara naam. Mere hone wali bhabhi ti na aap, Main Vicky urf Vikrant Khurana..aaap janti bi hai, bhai ka kya haal ta apke bina.. kitna guilt main teh woh.. aapse kitna pyar kartey hai woh' Vikrant said.
'Pyar.. Mujhe.. Geet Handa? yeh Geet kaun hai.. Mera naam to Reet Sharma hai..Reet Shamra.. aur main aap sab se kabhie nahi mili' Geet replied.
'Kyun itni naaraz ho mujhse Geet, mana mujhse galti hue.. Lekin sab kuch to tum chahti ti na phir' Maan said upset. Geet knew he was talking about her plan of fake argument.
'Main kyun naaraz hu aapse? Aur ha main Geet nahi hu samje'
'tum hame nahi jaanti? Maan tumhara mangetar, Pinky tumhari behen jaise dost aur Adi tumhari bhai aur Vikrant tumhara Dever aur main tumhari dost' Meera spoke up.
'off course not'
'Geet please aisa mat bol... tum janti bi ho,, tumhari death ki baat sunkar Dadima ka kya haal ta.. woh kitni dimaar hogayi.. agar woh tumhe dekenge toh jaldi se teek hogi' Pinky said.
Geet was shocked. The woman who gave her everything, a mothers life, advice and was always there for her was ill knowing of her death.
'dekho Miss aur aab sab,, nahi main kisi ki dost, mangetar ya behen hu nahi bhabhi'
Geet walked off leaving them and went to the desk.
'Shayad yeh Geet nahi hai?' said Meera
'haa warna dadima ke baath suntey hai shayad maanleti'
'nahi.. Hum Geet ko jaane nahi denge.. shayad accident ke waja se auski yaadash jachuke hai.. aur aus Vikram ne.. shayad kuch kiya ho' Vikrant said.
'ha.. woh chahi kuch bi kahe woh aaj bi meri behen hai' said Pinky.
Maan looked at all of them and said whlist staring at Geet
'Humhe hamari Geet waapas milgaye hai.. Kismat se larkar Geet waapas ayi hai..aur hum ause kahi jaane nahi denge.. aab tum sab mere saat ho' Everyone agreed and smiled and held hands together to not to let Geet go ever..
PRECAP: Everyone was sitting dejected in Khurana Mansion whlist one person was optimistic that Geet will return. At that point the door bell rang and Maan opened the door and everyone was shocked.
'Main yaha sirf apke dadima ke liye ayi hu.. Main manti hu shayad mera chehra apke mangetar se milti hai'
