PART 1

Sun dawns showing its bright light which is the symbol of truth.Sum gleamed on the river of Hoshiarpur,Punjab while a shout was heard from the haveli nearby.The haveli was beautiful having the big doors made of teak wood & its frame & doors were carved with so many designs & patterns.The main door had been carved the Goddess Durga which was smiling peacefully.

The haveli had a large courtyard which had so many fruit trees like Apple,Mango,Coconut,Banana,Orange.The betel leaves plant were spreaded to the trees like the daughter has hugged its mother dearly.In centre the Tulsi plant has been sowed & it is decorated with flowers and cotton garland.The scented sticks were lit to it & the oil lamp was lit in front of it.The beautiful rangoli was drawn in front of it with colors.

In the courtyard to the right side there stood Maa Durga's idol which was decorated with gold ornaments & flowers.The cotton garland was put around Maa Durga's neck & scented sticks were lit in front of her.Here also the beautiful rangoli was drawn with colors.A woman held the aarti thali & was singing,"Jai amba maata...maiyya jai amba mata...(Then she shouted at her husband,"Suniyeji uthiye subah hogayi)

Her husband was irritated becoz of her shouting & cribbing & he stuffed the pillow over his head.That woman said,"Om jai amba maata...maiyya jai amba maata...(Then she shouted at her husband once again,"Suniyeji aaj vakeel saab aa rahe hai...daarji ka will padne..agar aap nahin uthe toh bahut badi mushkil ho jaayegi...uthiye...!)

Then the man got up with the jerk & ran outside taking his clothes to get ready.Meanwhile another woman called from the kitchen,"Dee khaana tayyar hai...!"The woman one who was doing aarti said,"Theek hai ab kapde dholo...!"The woman who was in the kitchen walked towards the courtyard slowly becoz she was 8 months pregnant.

The woman who was doing aarti was Rupinder & she shouted at the pregnant woman Rano angrily,"Chal chetti kar...vakeel saab aane se pehle sab kaam honi chaahiye samjhi tum...ab ye kapde dholo phir bartan saaf kardo...uske baad hi tumhe khaana milegi...aur haan zyaada der tak aaraam karegi toh tumhe khaana nahin milega...samjhi tum???"

Rano nodded politely.She wahsed the clothes & utensils & came to the kitchen to have breakfast.Rupinder threw a plate of rice,paratha,some raw onion & lemon with curry in front of her giving disgusted look to Rano.Rano took it & smelt it & was abt to puke but resisted becoz that was the food of last night.

Rano asked painfully,"Dee mere saath itna bura bartaav kyun...mere liye na sahi kam se kam mere hone waale bachche ke liye toh achcha khaana deejiye...!Rupinder shouted at her angrily,"Agar tum nahi khaana hai toh mein usse kutte ko laga dethi hoon...dedo!"And she snatched the plate & called a street dog & put the plate in front of it.

The dog ate the food while Rano gave a deep sigh & said keeping her hand on the tummy,"Beta..aaj aapki maa bhuki hai toh zyaada tang mat maro...!"On that time the baby kicked immediately making Rano say,"Ouch...!"

The lawyer came & said that all the property is in the name of Rano & Mohinder's child.This made Rupinder & Balwant to show blood red eyes with anger on Mohinder & Rano.Then Rupinder & Balwant hatched a plan & persuaded Mohinder & Rano to visit Amritsar.On the way the car was stopped in mid way.Then Balwant came wearing the nails of tiger & killed Mohinder & followed Rano to kill her.

Rano ran for life from Balwant & fell into the overflooded river.Rano shouted angrily swimming against the overflooded river,"Aapka yeh karz mere paas hi rahegi veerji,samay aane par yeh aapko mein sooth sameth vaapas doongi...!"Balwant saw Rano going inside the water after sometime & laughed maniacally that his all the enemies r dead.Now no one was there like a wall between him & the property.

Next morning in Kaur haveli,a sardarji came & said to beeji who was praying in front of Maa Durga,"Beeji...Amritsar ke nadi ke kinaare ek aurat mili hai jo garbvati bhi hai...!"Beeji said sternly,"Usse yahan le aavo aur haan daimaa ko bhi bulaavon...!"Then thw woman was taken to Kaur Haveli & was lied in the courtyard.Beeji came & saw thw woman & was shocked.Beeji said with shocke,"Rano puttar...Rano puttar...!"

Rano didn't say anything becoz she was still unconscious while daimaa examined her & said,"Abhi bhi saasen chal rahi hai...!"Beeji saw that Rano's breath was uneven.After so many treatment,Rano came to the consciousness but next moment she started to scream.Beeji said to the servant,"Jaldi jaake Gurvinder to bulaayiye...!"

The baby started to come outside immediately on that time Gurvinder came there.After half an hour the baby was out while Rano was happy to see it was a baby girl.Then she said everything to Gurvinder & Beeji abt her family.How she was ill treated & how balwant killed her husband.Rano said everything but she decided herself that she will make her baby grow like a fearless person.

Rano didn't go to meet her brother Amarnath Khurana becoz she don't want to make his brother in trouble & she wanted to stand on her feet.
