Just wanted to give my two cents on the sympathy situation, I do agree that Maan could do a lot more than he is now to subtly assist Geet with her memory, and I really do feel for Geet who is the deer caught in the headlights amidst all this.
But the way I see it, Maan is equally as helpless - being with her is dangerous and he's already risked enough to allow himself those few moments with her in the bathroom when he lets his emotions slip... he's trying to save Geet by attempting (yet failing) to keep himself well out of the loophole and let her move on from him, for both of their sakes.I do wish that he would take her hand and escape far far away where they can be happy together forever and make beautiful babies, but I can totally understand Maan's situation and predicament which stops himself from doing so.
