CHAPTER 14
Geet was sleeping when maan entered the room ……………..
" how peacefully she is sleeping making my life hell " maan thought
He took a vase from the side table and dropped it down in force ……………….geet woke up with a sudden jerk ………………..her eyes were still sleepy she was looking no less than a baby who would cry if u wake from sleep ……………………….
" why did u wake me ? " she asked rubbing her eyes cutely pouting her lips for once maan just lost track of everything and was admiring her …………………..
" maaan" she shouted and he was brought back
" why did u leave me there ? " maan asked
" didn't u receive my text ? btw how did u reach so soon " geet asked checking the time
" I got a lift from someone …………" he said sitting beside geet
" oh god u stink go take a shower " geet pushed him
" I m sleepy " maan was abt to lay down but geet kicked him to bathroom
Later maan changed to his night suit he laid beside geet …………………
" are u asleep ? " maan asked
" that is a very bad qus to be asked to anyone " geet said annoyed
" I switched of ur phone " maan admitted
" bingo " geet said
Maan turned to her side resting his head in his hand so that he could see her face clearly ……………….
" but my intention was not to create problem in this deal in fact I didn't know there will be any call from them " maan said
Geet looked into his eyes not once she felt he was lying …………… geet didn't tell anything they both were just staring at eachother for sometime ………………………
" but now u made me walk 10 km so I ll make u regret that " maan said with evil smirk
Geet pushed him away and in return fell on him as he was holding her hand ……………………… geet pressed her hand on either side of him and tried to get up but maan circled his hands around her waist …………………….geet raised her eyebrows ………………..
" I will forgive u for leaving me alone in the forest if u agree to stay in this position for sometime " maan said
" excuse me ? I don't remember asking forgiveness and moreover u deserve that " geet said
" ohk then I m not going to let u go " maan said tightening his grip
" may be ur forgetting that I can get away from ur grip easily hitting ur bloody nose " geet said
" so y aren't u getting away ? do u like talking with me in this position ? " maan asked
" I don't want u to attend the meeting with bleeding nose " geet said
" oh thanks so nice of u " maan said sarcastically
Maan was staring at geet when she did the unexpected ………………………. She pinched his thigh hard which made him release her grip ……………….. she rolled to her side laughing ………………….
" I hate u " maan said rubbing his thigh
" same to u" geet giggled
Geet was busy laughing while maan pinned her hands to bed and came on top of her …………………… geet stopped laughing and looked at him ………………….
" now do u realize that I can do anything " maan askd dangerously
" maan good joke " geet laughed but maan didn't slightly move from his position ………..
Maan moved his face close to her …………
" u smell good " he whispered
" maan just move away and let me sleep I know u won't do anything " geet said unaffected
" what do u mean by I won't do ? " maan asked offended
" u are good boy types u know " geet said
" what if I forcefully kiss u now ? " maan asked looking at her lips
" if u kiss me it won't be forced " geet said
Maan clearly didn't understand what she said …………….
" maan will u let me go or……….." before geet could complete her sentence maan moved to his side making a baby face he didn't like that his plan to scare geet by his closeness failed ………………
They didn't talk after that and geet drifted to sleep but maan didn't get good sleep ………………….. he looked at geet who was sleeping facing him ………………….. he began his fav time pass ………………….. he touched her hair , forehead , eyes , nose , cheeks and his fingers stopped at her lips …………………… he couldn't deny the fact that he was tempted to kiss her when they were close ………………………….. maan moved towards her lips and was about to give quick peck but something stopped him …………………………………….. he got up with sudden jerk ……………………
" og god what was I trying to do ? how can I think about geet like this ?" maan thought
However arrogant she be but he knew how much she is particular about her dignity and she has allowed him to stay with her that means she trusts him so much ……………………….how can he be so low …………………….. he remembered her words * u r good boy types, u won't do it* ………………………. Maan felt guilty for trying to kiss her that too when she was asleep …………………………
Maan washed his face and came back to bed ……………. He piled pillows between them and then went to sleep ……………………..
Maan woke up next morning and saw geet who was busy with laptop…………..he looked at the clock he had still 30 mins to get ready ………………
They both went to the conference room ……………………… the meeting was successful and HC was to get it 99.9%...
" geet lets eat or else I ll die of hunger " maan said
Geet rolled her eyes they both entered the restaurant
" aren't u hungry " maan asked
" I ate sandwich in the morning " geet said
" traitor u didn't allow me even to drink coffee " maan said with fake anger
Geet wsa busy with her phone and maan was just looking aroumd the restaurant when he spotted a known face , the guy who gave lift last night ………………. Maan waved to him and asked him to join them ………………………… the guy walked towards them and sat near maan geet who was busy in phone didn't notice the guy …………………….
The waiter took maan's order and he was waiting for geet to place her order but she was busy in phone ………………..
" Massaman Curry with Tom Yam soup " maan wanted to say but those words were from the guy
Maan looked at the guy in disbelief ……………….. geet who heard the familiar voice turned to look at him ………………………
" what are u doing here ? " geet asked sternly
" u know why I m here " he said
" I know u can't shout on me today " he said before geet could say anything
She very well know what spl day is that …………………… she looked at him for a brief second ………………..
" fine. I m going to my room get my breakfast there " she said and walked not waiting for any reaction
Maan who was a silent observer poked the guy's shoulder
" let me guess she is ur sister "
The guy nodded with a smile
" and u r ? " maan asked
" swayam handa " he extended his hands
Swayam asked the waiter to deliver all their order to room and they both started to walk to room ……………
" I can't believe that u r her brother ……………. U seem sweet and good " maan said
" even she is sweet " swayam said
" yeah " maan said sarcastically
" wats so spl abt today " maan asked
" umm its my b'day " swayam said
" oh wow haapy birthday " maan said
" thanks …………. Every year I spend my birthday with geet " swayam said and stopped before a flower shop and bought pink roses
" oh god is it u who send her pink roses everyday ? " maan asked surprised
" yup when I was in nursery my skl had very beautiful roses and I use to get one for geet everyday since then even after years its continuing as a tradition " swayam said
" and chocolates ? " maan asked
" she can do anything for chocolates she is just crazy abt chocolates since young " swayam said
Roses and chocolate that is not the geet handa maan knew …………………… he wondered what all abt the girl he still has to know …………………….. swayam and maan finally reached maan and geet's room ……………….
