Author's Note: I am singing this song to myself "Tumhara naam kya, Eena, Meena, Anju, Manju, yeah Madhu!" Hold on, I am not digressing from the title of this article. Why I got reminded of this song from Rajesh Khanna's movie Kati Patang is because if I let my imagination a little loose, I think similar scene happened with the makers of this serial when they must be brainstorming over iss serial ko kyaa naam dein? It must have been something like "Shikhar- No, Kathputli- No, Yeah Madhu—Ooh la la" Oh sorry, it's Madhu-ba-la- Ek Ishq Ek Junoon!

Well, the long wait is over for Drashtiand Vivian fans as Colors' most talked about and awaited show is all set to air from 28th May and will bring silver screen on tellytube. Sounds interesting-isn't it? So much of stir is already happening in the online world in the form of dedicated facebook pages, people discussing promos and fans loading the actors' fanclub pages expressing delight about their comeback.

Much to the excitement of the fans, show's three impressive promos have come out. I appreciate how the makers have chosen to keep further details under wraps and managed to generate enough curiosity among viewers. What the promos suggest is that it's the story of a girl who is born to be a star and much against her wishes is forced into filmdom. The show promises to be a filmi love story between an established hero and a 21 year old girl who rises to stardom. Let's see how this shapes up in future.

If earlier buzz is to be believed, the show will revive the love story of yesteryear stars Madhubala and Dileep Kumar in a contemporary style. I like the names of the lead characters Madhubala and RK- two big names in the history of Indian cinema. In recent times this is the first time where the viewers will get to see the profession of the leads as Bollywood actors. As the unveiling is happening slowly, that leaves
me with nothing more to add to. Let's wait for the other promos to come out. I am wondering if the show will also put spotlight on the uncertainties, the short lived success, the struggles that the actors go through and the dark side of the industry.

Here begins the second innings as leads for both Drashti and Vivian and a few questions questions pop up in my inquisitive mind. Will the show equate to the success of Geet for Drashti? Will viewers fall in ishq with the show? Will this new Jodi become a junoon among the viewers? Parda uthega then only these questions will get answered and bhed tabhi khulega. The countdown has begun and we as viewers can just wait and look forward to the saga. Hope the show lives up to the high expectations that come by default with the names Drashti and Vivian.
