Geet was getting ready for attending sports day function in sid's school …………………
" mom don't wear this salwar" sid said looking at the salwar in geet's hand

" wear that blue saree " sid said picking a saree
" omg! Sid u r becoming very difficult these days …………………. This is the third time u r making me change my dress ………………….. but this is last and final mind it " geet said walking into the washroom
" ohk can w go now ? " asked geet

" nothing more baby plzzz I m already tired " geet said with a pleading eyes
Geet and sid went to school ……………… Every student came with their parents …………………… sid was the only student to walk with only mother …………………… but sid never felt sad he was too young to understand anything …………………… geet or anyone for that matter didn't mention anything about father around Sid …………………….
All the kids had some competition like running , musical chair , relay ……………………… Sid participated in almost all games and won prizes………………….. Though geet always hated sports Sid was all active and loves sports …………………….. Geet was amazed by his stamina and passion towards sports as she doesn't even know basic things …………………..
The school selected overall champion from each grade and Sid was likely to win that but for that he has to win a game where the kid should participate with their father ………………………………
Geet was worried she couldn't participate with him one she is bad runner and two she was wearing a saree ……………….. she never expected this to come …………………. Sid looked at geet with confusion He never had a father figure in his life who could participate with him …………………………. He never even though how a father would be ……………………………. A tear escaped geet's eyes looking at sid's plight ……………………….. she took him in her arms and kissed him ………………….

" I m happy with all the prizes I got lets go home I m hungry " sid said he knew his mom was not feeling comfortable and so he can't play the game

Before geet could say anything someone grabbed sid from her ……………………… she turnrd to look at her savior ………………..

They both went to participation area …………………………. It is necessary to say that maan won all the games for sid …………………. After all he is MSK and could do anything to make his loved ones happy ………………………. Geet was looking at them with a smile cheering them ………………………
At the end Sid was named the best among kids of his age ………………………… maan and geet couldn't be more happy ………………………… They showered him with kisses and love ……………….. The whole audience appreciated Sid for his extra-ordinary talent …………………………………. Maan and geet felt immensely proud ………………………. Maan didn't once allow sid out of his arms ………………………. He was holding him with pride throughout ……………………..
" maan I m glad that u ma…………….." before geet could complete maan walked with Sid to the car…………………………… geet was confused she followed him …………………..
Maan asked his driver to take Geet's car back home and hopped into his car ……………………… All this time he dindn't talk to geet ……………………. She silently sat beside him ………………….. they pulled out in a restaurant for Lunch ………………………. Maan behaved indifferent not talking to geet he was only playing with Sid ………………………..
Geet didn't understand why he was behaving weird ……………………. She recollected all event to find what was wrong it was then she realized that she never informed about Sid's sports day function to maan …………………… soon after their confession maan took a promise that from then she ll inform everything regarding Sid to him and Sid will be responsibility of them both ………………………… How could she forget that ? she cursed herself for hurting him …………………
" maan plzzz listen to me I m sorry ………… " .
Maan didn't tell anything

Maan closed his eyes to control his anger ……………….. he then consoled geet
" promise me that this will be the first and the last time u ignore me in sid's affairs " said maan
" I promise that from now on everything abt sid will be taken care by his Father " said geet smiling between tears
Maan was happy finally …………………… he wiped her tear and kiised her forehead …………………….. Sid came running excitedly from wash area …………………
" u know wat we are the first to be here ………………. The whole restaurant is empty " sid said with glow in his eyes
" really !!! " geet ………………….. It was then geet noticed that even some ppl who were eating while they arrived was missing ………………………
"it's strange right ? " geet asked looking at maan
" I don't think so " maan said casually
" OMG ! don't tell me that u reserved the whole restaurant for us " her eyes widened in shock
" I prefer private time with family to be peaceful " said maan…………………….." did u like it champ ? it's a treat for my little achiever " said maan turning to sid

Geet rolled her eyes seeing them ……………………. She is a kind of person who likes to live normal life she enjoys ppl's company ……………………… but they both are completely opposite …………………
The food was served ………………………. Geet was angry as none of them was to her choice it was mostly maan and sid's favorite ………………………
" maan wat is this ? " she made a face looking at the food
" oh sorry sweety I was so angry on you that I didn't order ur favs " said maan
" what ? " geet made angry face
" we ll order now " said maan casually
" u forgot me ? I will not eat then " said geet

He began to serve sid and guided him in eating …………………………. Geet's jaw dropped down in a 'o' shape ……………….
" I hate u Mr.khuranna …………….. I m leaving u both enjoy " she stood to leave but maan held her wrist and made her sit back
" I was kidding sweety …………." He said and gestured the waiter to bring her food
They had very cute and enjoyable lunch ………………………….. They were walking out of the restaurant when sid's fell on some balloons …………………
" daddy I want some balloons " sid said pointing to the direction
Maan's heart skipped a beat hearing the word 'Daady' ………………….. he immediately lifted sid in his arms
" what did u call me ? " maan asked
" umm " sid was unsure if he was wrong or right ……………….." daddy " he said in low tone
Maan hugged sid and showered him with kisses …………………………….. he always wanted to hear this from sid but never thought that it would feel this great ……………………………… he looked at geet who was smiling pleasantly …………………………..
" thank u geet " he said ………………………he knew that geet would have asked sid to call so
" but I didn't tell him anything maan " she said
Maan now felt even more proud and happy ………………………….. he was over whelmed knowing what place he had in sid 's heart ……………………….. maan was out of the world he bought sid all possible toys that Sid even looked at once in the shop ……………………..geet didn't stop them knowing maan ………………
Later they came home ……………………… sid insisted maan to stay with him so maan decided to be there till sid slept ………………………….. Sid was in maan's shoulder and he was caressing his back promising to keep him safe always …………………
Geet looked them both in awe ……………………. She doesn't know what future in store for her but she knew that from now on she is gonna face every step with maan beside her ………………….
Geet went and sat near maan …………………..
" today is the happiest day in my life geetu ………………… I can't tell u how I felt when sid called me daddy " said maan happiness was evident in his eyes …………….
Geet smiled and placed her head on his shoulder ………………….
" maan I don't know if I deserve all this ……………………… I have always been lucky that ppl around me loved me a lot ……………………….. U r the one whom I desired from the bottom of my heart since I know what love is ………………………… u know everything about me except ………………." She raised to meet his eyes
" except that three years before ………………………" geet 's talk was cut by buzzing of her phone
Maan took her phone
" cut it maan I ll lose the mood to talk then " she said irritated
" umm r u sure ? its armaan " maan said looking at the caller ID
" oh! Don't disconnect then " geet immediately grabbed the phone and answered it

Geet began to jump in joy ……………………. Maan looked at her confused ………………….. sid woke up thanks to the noise she created …………………. Maan and sid looked at each other then at geet ……………………. She immediately hugged maan and sid
" u know what ?... ridz delivered a baby gal " said geet excited
" wow great " maan exclaimed
Even sid began to jump in joy …………………….. After few minutes geet composed herself
" maan I have to book tickets to Mumbai …………………….. but I m afraid if there will be any " geet said in worry
" don't worry sweety u just do the packing I ll take care of everything ………………………. After all I m Maan Singh Khuranna " said maan with attitude
Geet immediately hugged him and kissed his cheeks followed by sid
