PART 21

When Maan got Geet's real phone number and address then he dialled to her room.There Geet's mom answered the phone call,"Hello...!"Maan asked,"Kaun baat kar raha hai...!"Geet's mom said,"Mrs.Ahluwaliya speaking...!"Hearing Ahluwaliya's name Maan was shocked & thought Geet Ah Singh means Geet Singh Ahluwaliya...

Then he started talking to Geet's mom,"Madam,am talking from golden credit card,can I know u and Mr.Ahluwaliya's full name,please?"Geet's mom asked suspiciously,"Kyun?"Maan said,"Madam,our company had decided to give u free credit card which have the credit limit Rs.17,000/=...!"Geet's mom said,"But Mr.Ahluwaliya isn't in the home...!"

Maan said,"It's ok madam.I want to tell u that with this card,we want to give u a add on card...!"But on that time a siren was heard & Maan closed the bhearing part & saw outside the window.Chaube banged his head when he heard the siren cursing that it flopped the plan.Geet's mom heard that and was alarmed.

Maan said after sometime,"Am sorry,some distrubance is there.As I was saying that,u can give it to ur children...!in panic.Geet's mom said angrily with panic,"Ji nahi humein koi bachche nahin hai aur humein koi card nahi chaahiye...!"And she was abt to keep the reciever then Maan said politely,"Madam,just listen to me,for Rs.10,000/= purchases,our company gives u 10% discount for full one year,if ur family member is in army or was in army...!"

Geet's mom said angrily,"Look,I don't want any card...!"Maan asked politely,"It's ok madam,may I know ur & Mr.Ahluwaliya's full name?"Geet's mom said angrily,"Please,humein koi card nahin chaahiye...!"And she disconnected the phone immediately.Maan pressed a button in the chordless phone & thought while Chaube asked,"Kya kaha aunty ne...???"

Maan said thoughtfully,"Mana kardiya...!"Chaube said thoughtfully,"Mana kar diya...!"Maan nodded & said,"Lekin unki aawaaz mein ek ajeeb si ghabraahat suni...shaayad yahi sahi number hai...!"Here Malik was repotting the plants having grumpy face.Geet walked past him & saw him & smirked at him which Malik saw that & fumed with anger.

Geet entered the staff quarters when she saw Chaube entering Maan's room & was suspicious & followed him.Chaube had a bowl of Sooji halwa with less sugar.Geet thought,"Yeh kaun hai jo Captain Khurana ke room mein bina kissi bandish ke ghus raha hai...Mujhe pata lagaana hoga...!"

Chaube kept the bowl of the halwa on the table & saw Geet's photo there.Chaube said taking the photo while Geet peped from the door silently.Chaube said,"Oh ho toh aap hai Geet Singh Ahluwaliya...Look,now stop the game of police & thief & come in open...!"Seeing her photo.Geet was panicked seeing her photo on his hands.

In the meantime,Maan saw Geet peeping into his room from the door & tapped from behind on her shoulder & asked suspiciously,"Cadet Singh...!"Geet asked to save herself by showing the library book of signals & communications in an unusual calmness,"Sir,signal studies ke liye yeh book theek rahega kya...?"

Maan saw that book & said,"Haan lekin yeh tum mujhe class mein his pooch sakthi thi na...tumhe yahan aane ki kya zaroorat thi...!"Geet accepted her mistake & said,"Yes sir & sorry sir...!"And she ran from there immediately.Maan entered his room in panic & said seeing Chaube holding Geet's photo,"Chaube,what's this idiotism?Abhi bhi yahan se gayi hai woh...pata nahi kya kya suna hai usne...!"Chuabe said innocently,"But no one came in front of me sir...!"

Maan said angrily,"Not in front of u idiot she was standing right behind u.A vigilance officer will have to in seperate place...BTW u don't even look like urself as vigilance officer...lower that...!"Showing Chaube's stomach.Cahube said smiling,"Sir,yeh toh mera camouflage karne ka tareekha hai sir...!"

Maan nodded dismissively and gave a SSLC marks card.Caube saw that & said,"Vidhyanidhi higher secondary & high school Almora."Maan said,"Geet Singh's school,go & get some more details...!"Chaube nodded & took the marks card & exited from Maan's room.

Geet who stood behind the door listened everything which Maan said to Chaube.Geet was panic & decided that her time has come to be exposed to this academy that am Geet Singh Ahluwaliya.Geet was walking towards the mess thinking abt the incident,what she saw & she hurried to say this to Arjun but she bumped to Dr.Sen & made her files to fall & said in panic,"Sorry madam...!"

Dr.Sen said calmly,"That's ok Cadet...!"Geet helped in lifting the files & saw her profile & became suspicious & panic.Dr.Sen observed this but Dr.S came as diversion & said,"Sameeraji,aap yahi par hai.We'll be late for urgent meeting...!"Dr.Sen said,"I completely forgotten Dr.S...!"And she went with her for meeting.

Suriji saw her suspiciously and Major Nair also.Then she went to meet Arjun.Geet said to Arjun seeing him lurking in the mess,"Yaar Arjun,I think Maan knows my full name and who's that man...?"Before further Geet say Arjun answered,"His name is Lieutenant Bunty Chaube.He's the assistant of Maan & this academy's head cook.Daya told me.We've to be careful with that Lieutanant.Let's concentarte on our test,ok.And that Liuetenant has given ur Nainitaal's address & phone number to Maan & Maan had phoned to ur mom today morning &...!"

Geet completed it immediately,"And he has given my SSLC marka card to know abt me more...!"Arjun was amazed but continued,"You expect the phone from ur mom.Now don't lose hope,u can do thi,ok.Am with u Geet & our team with u & most importantly...I'll always be with u...Trust urself,me & god."geet felt cheerful hearing Arjun's words but there was a fear inside her not for her but for Maan,becoz of her mission.

Here the urgent meeting is started in meeting hall.All were present except Maan & Maan enters immediately.Major Nair said after the entry of Maan,"Now all r present,let's begin the meeting...!"Suriji asked politely,"Sir,kya baat hai aapne hum sabko urgent meeting bulaaya kya koi problem hai...?"Major Nair said bossily,"Not a problem Subhedhar,it's a solution,to make this academy's performance better...!"

Dr.S said dismissively,"Another BC...!"Major Nair said bossily,"From now onwards,small unit search & destroy drill will be added to first year batch.Which Cadets grade will be 50% up,they can settle here in KMA.The officers with their soldiers enter the enemies territory &they give their test of the power & their ability...Likewise these Cadets will be tested...!"

Maan listened first & said,"Major Nair,the drill which u r talking abt is very difficult & complex.Thsi drill is not only the question of Cadets physical but also intelligence & emotional question.That's why this drill is kept in last year.I want to know why this drill iskept now...?"Major Nair said clearly,"So that weak Cadet will be kicked out of this academy.One who wants to leave the academy next year can leave the academy now only...!"

Maan said calmly,"Am sorry Major Nair,how can u judge that there r only few Cadets in this new batch?In fact why don't u think that there'll be treasure of able Cadet?Major Nair said,"And there'll no one...!"Maan said politely,"yes it can happen.but one who tops the academy as best Cadet they've become best officers in INdian army.U can check the academy's records...!"

Major Nair said,"Captain we do not follow the history but we create history...!"Maan smiled sarcastically,"This is the mistake u do every time.U do a new mistake & bury it in files taking the name of history.Major Nair saw him angrily but Maan continued,"In fact if u want to see their ability,then y destroy drill?give them a rifle & send them to front.U'll see their ability,intelligence & emotions also."

Major Nair said,"Now u're over reacting Captain.The protection of front will on the hands of the able & experienced officers not the Cadets...!"Maan said,"I don't disagree with u Major Nair...But the experience which u're talking abt not comes byt the academy pass outs it comes with the time & am asking u that time.These Cadet minds r soft.Let they adjust to these types of environment.Then u see u can make any drill from them & even destroy drills also...!"

Dr.S approved Maan's argument but Suriji approved Major Nair's argument.Then Major Nair announced that the drill is gonna happen as BC has given the green signal.Maan said with sarcasm,"When the decision is taken then why this formality Major Nair?"Major Nair said,"Decision isn't taken captain.Decision will be taken after the opinion of faculty.Maan said angrily,"Major Nair,u can save urself from me.U can run the academy in ur way but I'll challenge ur system every time.I promise u...!"

Major Nair said angrily,"Captain Khurana,just vote, s or no...!"Man said confidently,"No...!"Dr.S said,"No...!"Then Suriji said,"Yes...!"Major Nair said firmly,"Well mine is s...but our vote is 50:50.Let's see what is Dr.Sen's psycho-analysis tells?Dr.Sen,pls tell ur opinion...!"Dr.Sen was silent hearing Major Nair & Maan's argument & she listened carefully & said,"We give them the hope that they're best...then we scrutinize them & we send them after one year that they're unable to become the soldier.Well in this case,I've to say...yes!"Maan was shocked & felt angry but resisted.But Major Nair was happy with Dr.Sen's opinion & smirked at Maan.Maan didn't say anything & exited the meeting immediately.

Here Geet is thinking abt the past times,the dead body of her borther,everybody's crying & someone's saying that,'Army kehrahi hai ki tumhaara beta gaddaar hai...!"Geet nodding no & her father crying & saying,"Brij gave his life to this country but this country didn't give Brij a tricolor flag."Geet remembered her & her parents conversation before she's going to report to Ambala bureau.

Geet said,"Maa,there's a conspiracy.I'll show the whole country that my brother wasn't a traitor.Geet's mother said crying,"Waht do un think the academy admits u easily,a traitor's sister?"Geet said,"Yes maa,I'll struggle maa,i'll go inside and struggle.They've to give the admission maa & for that if i've to change me name & my surname then am gonna do that...!"

Veera said crying,"Ek bete ko toh kho chuki hoon ab tumhe khone ki himmat mujh mein nahin hai Geet...!"Geet thought of promises which were made to her veerji of protecting his best friends & herself.She thought the urgent meeting's motto isn't abt me?How can I find out...Arjun...i'll ask Arjun afterwards.
