It was one of the afternoon jhanvi had visited rano for their afternoon tea.
Rano looked little worried
jhanvi made the nice hot tea for them. - kya baat hain itni paresan kyun ho?
Rano ' meri bedi beti hain na
jhanvi ' Geet?
Rano ' haan
jhanvi ' kya huwa ussen? Sab teehk hain na
rano ' she is going to join a college in delhi
jhanvi ' wow that will be simply awesome
rano looked more tensed now
jhanvi - sab teehk hain na
rano ' it is really far from here. I wonder how will she travel that far every day.
Wo tho hostel main nahi rahene dengen
aur Brij ussen driver ke saath jane dega.
Jhanvi thought for a moment
rano ' mujhe tho kuch samjh nahi aa raha. Geet intni excited hain yanha ke college ko lekin.
Jhanvi ' uska college kanha hain?
Rano looked up the records & gave the details.
Jhanvi took the address & went to her place.
Jhanvi checked with driver & found out the exact route to the college.
In the evening jhanvi went to handa mansion to suggested Geet could travel with Maan.
Rano was totally ok with it, but then she had to know her husbands' concern
Mohender Handa immediately agreed without even thinking once.
Well there was nothing much to think actually.. they knew Khurana's & had met Maan too. There was nothing that could bother them. Even brij didn't seem to have much of an issue with it.
Brij ' Maan ko koi problem th nahi hogi aunty
jhanvi ' nahi beda, he has to take the same route. He leaves around 7am & comes back 6pm.
Khabhi khabhi late hojatha hain
but then he has a cell phone
well every thing seemed perfectly fine. Neither bothered to discuss it with their children. That was the norm like.. they won't disobey.
The whole handa family was rejoicing on arrival or their 2 princess. It was week since they had arrived to the community but nun saw them stepping out of the mansion or even in the garden. They were quiet & disciplined. They knew their limitations. They wore their pallus all the time. Even tho raji the younger sister was just in 10th but still she was expected to behave like a lady with pallu.
Jhanvi was elated meeting the 2girls. They were simple & sweet. They didn't even talk much. If asked something they answered politely with a smile.
Geets first day of college.
She was really nervous actually more of excited.
She wore one of the simple salwar kameez, no make up, a simple plat pallu on her head. She carried a back bag that had her all necessary stuffs.
Rano told her to take blessings from every one & made her eats curd & sugar.
Maan was about to leave..

Maan ' ji mama
jhanvi ' aaj se aap Geet ko aapne saat lejayenge.
Maan ' ji
he didn't know who was even mama talking abt. He just quietly nodded
jhanvi ' uska college aapke rasten main hi hain
Maan ' ji
jhanvi ' aur shaam ko saath lethen huen aana
Maan ' ji
jhanvi ' uska khayal rakhna, she is new to this place
Maan ' ji
he sat in the car wondering where this person was.. was he supposed to pick her from some where or she will come here. he didn't know whether it is a good idea to ask that to mom now.
Just then Brij came with Geet
Maan stepped out & greeted him
brij ' humari behen Geet
Maan ' hi
Geet smiled ' hi...
her eyes was glued to the road so was his. Both of them didn't dare to look at each other.
Brij opened the door for Geet. While Maan came around & sat behind the wheels.
After a brief warnings & wishes finally they could get on the roads. She sat quietly.
The moment they drew out of the community.. their was a silent sigh of relief. She sat more comfortably but still not really free. She knew nothing abt this guy.. except that he is jhanvi anuty's son.. & off course his name in Maan.
