@All:About the new promo i havent seen it yet. Here i agree with Priya n Sam both. They shdnt just make the poor guy strip just bcoz he has a wow body his biggest asset is his acting talents the way he expresses with his face, eyes, voice, body language is just brilliant⭐️. AS MSK he made me give maximum tomato faces not in the nude but with his killer eyes n facial expressions☺️..& yes his body is a treat to watch😛. In Geet most of the times he stripped was suited to the situation n it went well with MSK. But in the Woh hai jara song i thought they r just making him expose for trps. Farah Focet the beautiful blond actor frm Charlie's Angels once said whenever the ratings were poor she had to sport herself in a bikini. GC is our Farah Focet😆..i guess its a role reversal now guys hv to expose. And as Samy said mayb its suitable to the situation where they r showing 2 adults r living under the same roof n the physical awkwardness of that. But they shdnt make him strip again n again just bcoz he has an awesome body. Girls love his sexy body but they love his acting more so GC in the nude wont get them trps fof long they need a strong gripping story for that

To be honest, I think people are overreacting to the new promo and GC's shirtlessness. I don't think he is being exploited at all or at least no more than he was in Geet, where if you remember his first promos were...bingo, shirtless AND wet ☺️.

I mean clearly the mood they are trying to create here is awkwardness and it would have been much harder to do if he were not half naked. ☺️ To me the fact that he was shirtless was secondary to the general mood of the promo and only added to the building awkwardness they have been showing in each one. The fact that it was delicious eye-candy was an added bonus. 😉

Yeah..Physical awkwardness of course..is bound to be expected in such situations.. If it was any other actor who did not have this good built..Then I guess they would have shown something like accidental touching.. Fall and catch.. But nothing so DIRECT..n intense.. Frankly.. I got scared seeing GC shirtless.. 😆 went almost numb for few sec and was gaping at the screen.. 😆 so I must say makers ARE cashing on GC's HOTNESS here somewhere..

I completely agree that they are cashing in on GC's hotness but let's be honest, it would be foolish not to! I mean it is only going to attract viewers, zombie-like to the screen 😳 and then drag them forever into a vortex of intense hotness! ☺️

@All: I get that it is hard for us Geet fans to differentiate between MSK's hotness and GC's hotness because to us they are one and the same. But it is important for us to be fair about this and not try to claim that they are cashing in on MSK's bare chest, because they are actually cashing in on GC's bare chest, which has never the sole property of MSK (I mean he was shirtless constantly as Ram and I have heaved a sigh or two for his physique as I flipped channels even in those days!). We should remember and respect that GC gave MSK his drool-worthy body and not the other way round.

Zee is playing its cards really well they released that promo dufring zee cine awards so tht people who don't watch zee serials will also watch zee for the awards

I agree Priya, they are doing a wonderful job with the promotion. I guess even they know how big a deal this is and they are in dire need of a hit show right now as none of their shows are even touching 3 TRPs and they are supposed to be one of the bigger GECs.

As far as the shirtless promo goes, there is another way to look at it. To take the example of the other show I am watching now, Afsar Bitiya, the promos for that really highlighted the romance in the story because KM was the only really well known face on the show. But coming to the show in actuality, it has stuck strongly to the original story and the romance has barely started, almost two months in. So it could be part of Z's strategy to use the most popular and attractive aspects of the shows coming up to publicise and attract audiences, though they may not focus on those aspects right away in the story.

We will just have to see.

Sigh! It all makes me lament how little promotion GHSP got in its most crucial moments when I see how hard other channels work on the promotion of their shows.
