just saw GC's new promo (@bru iam not discussing d promo, but my reaction related to Maaneet)

i felt betrayed on behalf of geet (how stupid is that!) i thought i had got used to geet ending n our Maan donning another chr, after all it is a tv show which had to end, though abruptly. i thought i was mature n even saw GC's new show promos with just little curiosity. though i was not planning to see d serial regularly, i thougt to chk out GC as i liked him as Maan.

But whn i saw this latest promo, only two things came to my mind.

1. evn n family show poor guy is exploited. i mean in GHSP, we had such scenes (remember evn in dramatic truth revealing scene, we had geet tear his shirt open, which i didn't like it)
i mean he's d first male actor i saw who has revealed so much. in movies it s d female actors who are exploited. i think it is turn of male actors in tv (as female audience are more!). i do agree he really looks hot,but at times i feel poor guy must be feeling like a showpiece. in this new show, when they showed him shirtless again, i realized zee does know what increases trps. no wonder d family show is slotted for 10.30.

2. i hated it. i mean if this scene had come in Geet i wd have swooned (old fashioned word suits more) but in a new show, i hated it. felt betrayed on behalf of geet. i felt he was cheating on geet. how bad is that! this showed that i have not let GHSP go at all. still hoping it'll be back. i need a reality check. Poor actors! getting caught among crazy fans like me!

and if i tell this to other ppl (i mean non-geet fans) they'll look at me as i have become crazy. fb is too volatile. i thought den is much safer atleast to pour out my angst.

i hope by the time GC's new serial n DD's any new serial starts, i'll be sane enough to watch it objectively. (poor kratika!)

again guys this post is not abt any other serial, but abt d disease call Compulsive Geet (watching talking) disorder.(CGD). i am looking out for cure. so help me pls!!!

I thought my fainting, melting and thereby sighing after endlessly staring at GC's physique.. Days are over.. 😆 😆
But then the new promo 😳 Who says if u r a father of 2 kids u cant have a good body? 😆 😆

But I felt this promo came too early in the story.. They could have shown this little later.. Anyways.. Lets see.

That said.. I m too hoping like Z and Priya.. That such scenes are a part of the story and not kept as a filler to gain Trps.. Coz pls.. With very good physique.. This guy excels in acting too.. 😊

Its similar to the phase in our own show.. Where they just gave us Maneet eye-locks and hugs with a crap storyline..thinking that we all wanted to see this only.. 😕

Hello everyone!

I happened to catch a "first look at PV" segment yesterday and I have to say, GC looked beautiful in this one scene where he is up on a rafter releasing rose petals from an overhanging bag. He is wearing the kind of casual shirt we have always wanted to see him in! ☺️ I will try to get a picture. Anyway, I feel they are keeping his entry suspenseful because most of the 15 min segment was about Aarti's story. They are really taking this promotion thing seriously!

As for the promo and GC being objectified, yes to an extent I agree, but then let's face it, the CVs would be fools not to take advantage of that. And what's more, I think it works because it has come after the first two promos and makes sense logically even at this level. The first promo showed them being thrown together in a social context (ie the marriage) and the awkwardness of that with their respective kids in the picture, the second one showed the emotional awkwardness of their situation and finally now the third shows the physical awkwardness for two people who have to live in close quarters when their heart is not really in it.

Sorry for talking about it, but I was just trying to give my two cents on the discussion. 😊
