Part 39

Geet could sense the change in Maan's behaviour. She found him restless since the morning as if he was fighting within. She could see a mixture of love nad pain in his eyes whenever he looked at her. they returned to the KM after the visit to the hostipal and informed everyone tat everything was fine and there was nothing to worry about. Geet just kept staring at Maan as if asking him tat why was he being so different. She could see tat he was disturbed due to her health. She tried to talk to him but did not get chance as they were surrounded by the others. Here on other side Maan was finding it difficult to face her and answer her as he knew tat whatever has happenend its because of him. after some time geet was asked to take rest and as Maan had taken off from work to be with geet but still he could not face her. Geet went to her room and Maan to his study so tat he could think as to how he could ask sorry to geet.

It was nearly two hours since geet was sleeping and Maan time to time came to check on her. Maan was having a tough time to find a way so tat he could clear all the prolems and ask for sorry. He had silent tears just by thinking about the pain which his geet had to suffer due to him. Even though his love for geet was more, he could not think straight due to his so called insecurities. He just simply wrote a letter explaining his felings, his inner turmoil and asking for sorry. He found tat this was the best idea as he could not face her. he peeped inside the room and kept the letter on the table next to their bed and a rose for geet. after some time geet woke up only to find a rose and a letter on the table. Looking at the rose which was red she instantly knew tat it was Maan. She slowly opened it and started reading the letter. She traced her fingers on it to feel Maan.

Dear Mishti,

Tum soch rahi hogi ki main yeh letter kyu likh raha hoon jab ki main khud yahi hoon. Sach kahu geet main khud nahi jantha ki main ish letter main kya aur kyu likh raha hoon, shayad tumare Maan mein tumara samna karne ki himmat nahi hai. Shayad zindagi main pehli baar MSK behbas mehsoos kar raha hai. shayad pehli baar main itna kamzoor hoon ki main tumara., apne pyar ka samna nahi kar pa raha hoon. Pata nahi geet ki main ish letter main apne jazbaat theek se bayan kar paunga ya nahi. Geet main tumse maafi mangke tumare pyar ko chota nahi karna chahta par phir bhi maang raha hoon. Geet yeh letter pad ke apne keemati ansu mujh jaise insan ke lye mat bhana. I really don't deserve them so please it's a request….

Please know tat I want to make things right again.

Jantha hoon geet ki mujhse bahut badi galati hui hain. Tumara aur tumare pyar ka ghunegaar hoon main, nahi samjh paya ki main jis pyar ke liye zindagi bar tadap tha raha ushi pyar ko dard aur dukh detha raha. Nahi samjh paya ki main apni insecurities aur darr ke age itna bebas bana ki main apni zindagi ko khud se dur kartha chala gaya. Nahi samjh paya ki who tum hi thi jisne mujhe zindagi jeena sikha hai. nahi samhj paya tumare pyar ki gheraayi ko. Main haar gaya geet, haar gaya tumare pyar ke age.

Hamesha tumhe protect karne ki kasam khayi thi par har pal fail hota raha. Tumhe zindagi ke ish modh pe la kadha kiya jaha se sab khatam hota hai. par main behbas tha geet. har pal mera darr mujhe tumse dur jane ke liye majboor karta raha. Tumhe khone se darrta tha geet. darr ush baat ka tha ki agar main tumhe kho du tho shayad mujhe ushi andheri zindagi mein wapas jana padega jaha se tumne muhje baahar nikala hai. har pal yahi darr laga reh tha ki kya tum mujhe samjh paongi. Kya tum mere pyar ko samjh paongi. Kya tum kabhi mujhpar aur mere pyar par aitbaar karogi. Jabse pyar ko jana hai sirf tumse pyar kiya hai. main jantha hoon ki maine apne eshaas ko kabhi theek se bayan nahi kiya par tum meri zindagi ho geet. tumare bina jeene ke baaremein soch bhi nahi saktha. You are my life geet, and I have hurt my life. Kaise batao ki tum mere liye kya ho, kaise apne dil ke jazbaat bayan karu taki tum jan sako ki Maan ke liye Geet kya hai… I would simply say…

I really treasure you and your love geet, par shayad apne insecurities ki wajah se kabhi apna pyar nahi deekha paya aur hamesha ki tarah dard aur dukh ke ilva kuch nahi de paya. Geet had tears by now reading the letter which truly showed his guilt and confession of pure love for her. she was smiling with those tears, those teras of happiness as her Maan loves her. she just ran towards the study as if her legs knew where he was. She stood near the doorstep seeing Maan lost looking outside thw window. Maan who could feel her presence turned to see his life, his love loking at him with all the love. he just said.

Maan: geet…………

Geet's heart skipped listening to her name coming from his mouth with pain and love, she ran to him and hugged him tightly as she was holding on her life. The life which was away from her for so many days. Maan responded to her hug by feeling her love in tat simple but love filled hug. He felt as if his soul returned to his lifeless body and . they stood they for long. Maan slowly said..

Maan: geet…

Geet: Maan kuch mat kahye. I just wanna stay in your arms like this forever and feel you for long.

Maan: I just want to say sorry geet. just sorry for my deeds.

Geet instantly broke the hug and looked at him. she kept her hand on his mouth as if telling him not to speak anymore.

Geet: nahi Maan, aap sorry mat kahye. Aapki koi galati nahi thi aur main aapse naraz nahi hoon. Phir aap sorry kyu kahe.

Maan: par geet, maine jo kiya woh bahut bada gunaah hai aur iskeliye mujhe jo sazza milegi woh kaafi nahi hogi.

Geet: Nahi maan, woh tho aapka pyar hi tha jiske wajah se aapka darr apka saath nahi jhod raha tha. Jab koi kise se behinteha pyar kartha hai tho woh ushe khone se darr tha hai maan. Koi uske pyar ko jeen na le yeh darr ushe hamesha se satata rehta hai aur ushi darr ke age hum aisa kuch kar jathe hai ki jane ajane se hum apne hi pyar ko dard de baithe hai. tho phir aap galat kaise hue maan.

Maan: but geet, whatever I did was wrong. How can you forgive me for my sins. How can you say this when I have given you immense pain. How can you still say tat I m not wrong.

Geet: jab aapne koi galati ki hi nahi tho maafi ki baat kaha se aati hai maan. Agar aap yeh soch rahe hai ki main aapse gussa ya naraz hoon tho aap galath hai. kya kabhi Maan ki Geeet, Maan se naraz ho sakthi hai. Aap tho mere wahjood ho aur apne wahjood se main kaise naraz ho sakthi hoon.

Maan: yeh janthe hue ki tum mujhse bahut pyar karthi ho, main tumare pyar ko samjh nahi paya nahi uspar aitbaar kar paya. Meri nasmajhi ke wajah se tum maut ke darwaaze tak aayi aur tum keh rahi ho ki main galat nahi hoon. Kyu karthi ho mujhse itna pyar jab ki main tumhe sirf dard de tha aya hoon. Sazza do geet. just punish me.

Geet: sazza kaise de sakthi hoon Maan. Geet ke liye Maan, sirf ek naam nahi hai, balki uski puri duniya hai aur aap keh rahe hai ki main apni hi zindagi ko sazza do. Yeh kaise ho saktha

hai Maan. Aapko sazza dungi tho dard mujhe hoga aur mujhe dard mein dehkar aap apne aap ko aur dard dege aur yeh main kaise hone de sakthi hoon. Sazza dena sirf aaapko haq hai aur main janthi hoon ki aap apne aap ko sazza nahi de sakthe kyunki aap apni mishti se bahut pyar jo karthe hai. aur agar sazza deni hi hai tho mujhe dejiye. Haan maan sazza ki haqdaar tho main hoon na. main aapke mann se darr nahi nikal payi isliye sazza tho mujhe milne hai. shayad mere pyar mein uthni taqat nahi thi. So its me who should be punished Maan.

Maan: Nahi geet, tumara pyar tho bhagwan jintha pavitra hai aur main ushi pavitrata ko nahi samhj paya. Tumare ush pyar ki taqat ki wajah se hi tho main aaj tak zinda hoon. Tumara pyar hi tho mujhe jeene ki aas detha hai. meri andheri zindagi main roshini latha hai. tumare ish pyar ke aage main kuch nahi hoon geet aur tumhe dard dege ke liye shayad bhagwan bhi mujhe kabhi maaf nahi karenge.

Geet: Jab main khud aapko galat nahi manthi tho bhagwan kaise keh sakthe hai ki aap galat ho aur maine bhagwan ko yeh haq nahi diya hai ki woh mere Maan ko kabhi galat keh sakhe aur nahi aapko sazza de. Mera Maan kabhi galat nahi ho saktha. Samjhe aap aur aapki yeh jo so called soch hai na ki aap galat hai aur sazza ke haqdaar hai who apne dilo dimang se bahar naikal de. Bahut hua ab yeh aur nahi bardasht kar sakthi. Uthni himmat nahi hai mujh mein ki main aapse aur dur reh saku. Haan aur yeh yaad rakhan ki aapne mera pura ek month barbaad kiya hai aur aapko uska harzana dena hoga. Ye Mr.MSK you have to compensate for my one month of loss. You have to love me unconditionally for the whole life. You have to pamper me and listen to my demands. So you better be ready to pay for your rest of the life sweetheart.

With this Maan hugs geet and hides her in his embrace as if shielding her away from everyone. As making sure tat its not a dream and his love is truly in his amrs..

Geet: I love you too Maan.. ab bas mujhe apne bahoo mein ishi tarah rehne do aur kuch mat kehna….
