It was a week fo their marriage and every minute geet tried to make Maan convince and understand tat he was not at fault. She tried to explain her tat whatever he did was due to the circumstances and none from the family was angey on him. she even tried getting close to him but Maan would make excuses of bring busy. He would come late homr from office and would spent most of the time at night in his study. For the family they were a happy married couple but inside the bedroom they were like strangers. Even though sleeping on the same bed Maan would keep a big distance between them and would sleep at the far corner. His behaviour was making geet weak from inside. She tried all possible ways to make him understand but everytime she failed miserably. She felt like she was one who was getting punishement fro no fault of hers. The distance between them was taking her into depression but still she stayed happy for her families.

One day the whole Khurann afamily was having breakfast when Ranjit suddenly spoke.

Ranjit: Maan, I think its time now tat geet joins KC. Its better she takes her position in the office which she was supposed to.

Maan: Par dad, I don't think tat geet will be ready to join KC now. She all the way bust at home so why burden her more.

Geet who was having her breakfast quietly suddenly heard wat Maan said and felt bad.

Geet (ST): Maan ab aap shayad mujhe office mein bi nahi dekhna chahthe hai. Aisa kya hua hai Maan ki aap mujhe ish tarah ki sazaa de rahe hai.

Ranjit: Maan. Tum shayad bhool rahe ho ki geet ks sapna tha KC mein Kaam karne ka aur main kaha keh raha hoon ki woh pura din office mein kaam kare and whenever she feels to quit she can do.

Maan: par dad, I was just saying tat she already ahs so many responsibilities and why to give her more.

Vicky: dad, bro aap dono kyu behas kar rahe aakhir office geet ko join karna hai so let gher decide. Geet I really think tat you should join office back.

Dadima: geet bete aap itna kyu soch rahi hai. yeh tho aap hi ka sapna than a ki aap ek din KC mein Maan ke saath kaam kare tho ab..

Geet: ji dadima… par woh main…. Ab.. kaise..

Vicky: yeh kya main.. woh kar rahi hai.. seedhe seedhe kaho na.. ki tumhe office join karna hai taki tum bro ke saath har waqt reh sako. Waise bhi office mein ladkiya bro mein marthi hain aur agar tum aas paas rahogi tho unki himmat nahi hogi tumare pati pe nazar dalna.

Maan: Vicky tats enough.. aur yeh kisine kaha hai ki her ek patni ko apne pati ke saath her waqt rehna hai.

Vicky: bro main tho mazak kar raha tha.. aur hum sab janthe hain ki aap aur geet ek dujhse kitna pyar karthe hain.

Maan: Vicky its enough now. Hum yaha geet ke office join karne ki baat kar rahe hai.. so its better we stick to this matter rather than other.

Shailaja: Maan, Vicky tho sirf mazak kar raha tha aur tuma itne serious kyu ho rahe ho. Jab se shadi hui hai tab se dekh rahi hoon kit um kuch jyada hi gussa karne lage ho. Pata nahi meri beti tumare saath kaise reh pati hai.. kyu geet beta, Maan tumhe kuch jyada pareshan nahi kartha na..

Geet: nahi mom.. yeh tho bas aise hi.. kuch bahut bausy hai na isliye. (ST). pareshan karne ke liye baat karna jaruri hia mom, par shayad mere naseeb mein kabhi khushi liki hi nahi. Pata nahi babaji kab mujhe mere Maan puri tarah se wapas kar dege. Babaji itni der mat karna ki aapki yeh beti hi thoot jaye.

Ranjit: so its decided tat geet will join the office from today. Maan you take her along with you. Geet beta tum jake ready ho jao..

Geet: theek hai dad..

Geet goes to get ready for the office. She was upset since Maan did not wanted her to join the office but one side she was happy tat her dream of working with Maan will be true. She knew tat it was just tat Maan was bit angry on himself and he wanted sometime to get out of the guilt and with time it will be alright. She came down thinking tat she will get some more time to be with Maan and could make him understand tat she was really happy but as soon as she acme down she found tat Maan had already left. Her face left her smile ..

Vicky: geet tum kitni der lagathi ho. Janthi ho na ki bro ko wait karna pasand nahi hai and he is very punctual.

Geet: par Vicky maine kaha der ki hai. tayar hi tho ho rahi thi. Thoda intezaar karthe tho kya hota.

Vicky: tumari bi baat thek hai geet par bro ko shayad late ho raha tha. Who jhodo. Hum chalthe hai, pata chala ki tumare pehle din kit um fire hui tho.. so lets go before its late.

Geet(St): janthi hoon maan ki aapko der nahi ho rahi thi phir bi aap mujhe jhod ke chale gaye. Nahi hota Maan. Thak juki hoon main aapko smajhathe samjhathe ki aap ki koi galathi nahi hai par aap hai ki samjhna hi nahi chahthe. Aap yahi chahthe hai na ki main aapse dur raho, tho theek hai aaj se aisa hi hoga. Main aapke karee bane ki koshish bi nahi karungi. Aapke samne rehkar bhi dur rahogi. Janthi hoon mere liye yeh muskhil hai par aapke liye main yeh bi kar jaoungi. Abh jab tak aapko yeh eshaah nahi hota ki aap jo bi kar rahe hai woh galat hai main aapke paas nahi aaungi anhi kuch samjhane ki koshish karungi. Dekhthe hai Maan ki aap mujhse kab tak dur reh pate hai.

Geet and Vicky reach the office and was greeted by everyone. The whole staff liked her but the girls were jealous of her as she was now Mrs MSK. Maan himself had designed her cabin which was next to his and was only separted by a glass in the middle. She was happy to have her cabin next to Maan but soon realized tat she had to keep her distance from him. after catching up with everyone, they were called to the conference room. Where Ranjit, Maan, Adhi and the few other staff were present.

Ranjit: Maan. As you know tat the latest Noida Housing project is bagged by us, iw ould want the best team of KC to work on it. I personally want you to head this project.

Maan: don't worry dad. Our best team will work on this. It's a huge project and it will be one of the best of us.

Ranjit: ya I also want Vicky and Geet to work on this. Geet will be good in this project as she has worked with you on the goct project and as far as Vicky is concerned he is also doing his best. So they will be good for you and will give them a better opportunity for future.

Maan: theek hai dad. Jaise aap kahe.

Ranjit: so its all over to you Maan, you can start your work. Ranjit leaves

Maan: so, I hope you all know wat you have to do and how big and important this project is for KC. And I want everyones 100% in this project. I will onec again make it clear tat I will not tolerate any kind of mistakes and excuses. ( maan sees geet and Vicky talking while he was dicussing about the project, he gets angry by seeing them talking).

SO Mr. Vicky Singh Khuranna and Ms. Geet Handa, I hope I have made it clear to you tat I don't tolerate mistakes and negliencein work. Do you understand.

Geet and Vicky were shocked to hear Maan addressing geet as geet handa.

Vicky: bro aap shayad bhul rahe hai ki gee tab Mrs. Get Maan Singh Khuranna hai na ki geet handa.

Geet: rehne de Vicky , kay farak padta hai. Maan Sir thode hi mujhe aapne naam se pechange, woh tho sirf Kaam dekhthe hai. don't worry maan sir I will give my best for the project and as far as for now am sorry for not listening to you.

After this they discussed about the project and everyone one was coming with new ideas. Its was like they had many ideas for the project and were not coming at any decision but most of them liked geet's idea.

Vicky: bro I think we should go by geet's idea. It sounds good. As per her,if we have a shopping complex and a park fro the housing project would be good bro.

Maan: hmm. Looks good too. But we have to plan out properly. So Ms. Handa you can work on your designs.

Vicky: bro aap phir se galat bol rahe hai. she is not handa anymore but Khuranna now.

Geet: Vicky I said its ok.. Sir you can call me Ms. Handa and I don't mind in tat. Anyaways I was a Handa and will always remain. Khuranna khadaan se rishta hone se koi Khuranna nahi bantha. Aur main tho kabhi sahi tareeke se Khuranna ban nahi sakthi. So its ok Maan Sir can call me Ms. Handa.

Vicky: yeh kaisi baat kar rahi ho geet. tum Khuranna Khadaan ki badi bahu ho aur bro ki patni aur yeh kya hai ki tum kabhi khuranna nahi ban sakthi. Pagal ho kya.

Geet: kuch nahi Vicky, aise hi mazak kar rahi thi..

Vicky: aisa mazak phir kabhi mat karna geet. I swear I will tell bro to shot at you for this.

After reaching home geet was bombarded by questions as to how was her first day, how is maan as a boss and so on. She patiently answered all the questions and went to her room to freshen up. Later they all ahd their dinner and retired to their respective rooms. As usual Maan went to his study so tat he can avoid geet's questions, it was becoming difiicult foe him to stay away freom his misthi but whenever he went his guilt of breaking her dreams would force him to stay away. Geet knew tat maan was in his study. She changed into her night dressa and stood infront of the bed. The bed which noe belonged to both of them. She had dreamt of stayting in his room as his wife and sleeping in his arams and geeting up in his arms. But to her surorise all her dreams were broken. She was feeling very heavy to go on the bed since the morning office incident. Maan calling her as geet handa was breaking her evn more. She felt tat even after the marriage maan could not give her the right of being khuranna.

Geet (ST): jab Maan khud hi mujhe ab tak khuranna aur apni patni nahi manthe tho main kis adhikaar se ish bed pe soo sakthi hoon. Kis adhikaar se main ish kamre main reh rahi hoon. Apna dukh tho bi kisise nahi bath sakthi. Pata nahi kam yeh duriya khtam hogi. Apta nahi Maan kab apni guilt se bahar aayenge aur mujhe apni patni sivakaar rarebge. Thak juki hoon main babaji, lad lad ke thak juki hoon main. Aur himmat nahi hoti. Kash yeh din dekhne se pehle main mar jathi. Kash yeh dukh Maan ko dene se pehle main mar janthi geet yeh sab tumar wajah se hua hai. jis bhi insane ki zindagi main janthi ho use dukh ke alva kuch nahi dethi. Pehle Rahul ke wajah se Maan par ilzaam lagaya aura b yeh Akshay ke wajah se dukh aur dard diya. Kya diya hai Maan ko tumne, sirf drad, dukh aur andhere ki zindagi. Ab aur nahi geet , maan ko khush rakhna tumara farz hai aur agar woh chahthe hai ki main unse dur rahu tho main dur rahungi.

With this thought she takes her pillow and blanket and settles herself on the sofa. She was uncomfortable but still she was determined. Later at midnight Maan came to his room and saw geet sleeping on the sofa. He was shocked to see her there. He went close to her to wake her up but seing her in sleep je quietly went to the bed. The next morning geet woke up early and got ready for work. She did all her wify duties but did noe once speak to maan and hardly came infront of him. in the office it was the same, geet hardly came infront o him. it was only when there was a meeing or when it was necessary. At home hse avoided coming infront of him. it was only when at dinner time tat she would come in front of him. whernever the family sat together and if Maan was present she used to make excuses and would go away.

It was about a month for their wedding now and maan slowly started feeelingthe void of geet in his life. He felt tat geet was not being herself anymore. He found her quite most of the time and would kep herself away from him. Even though it was his decision to stay away from her for some time so tat he would get some time to get out of his guilt, he used to like tha way geet used to try to makehim understand tat it was not his fault. He used to rnjoy her talking and laughing with others but later it all changed. Geet kept herself aloop from the family and this was making maan more angry and frustrated. His restlessness for geet was taking a toll on his anger. He would just remove his anger on anyone. Geet knew tat maan was getting restless but she wanted Maan himself to come out of this and accepy it. Get slowly slowy was going in depression and this was leading to her negligence in work. She had to submit her designs two days back but due she could not finish it and this had made maan more angry and he removed his all anger on her.

Maan: geet I had already told you tat I will not tolerate any negligenecein my work and you were supposed to complete this designs two days earlier. Wat the hell do you think you are doing. Being a Khuranna aur Handa wont help you in this.

Geet: sir… m sorry…

Maan: don't you dare say sorry geet. it was your duty to finish your work but I feel you are not interested in your work. So its better you resign and leave as don't like employees who don't show interest in their work.

Vicky: bro, geet is not a employee here. She is your wife bro andits not something big tat you are ready to fire her.

Maan: she may be a Khuranna Vicky, but right now she is just an employee here working for me an I don't like any of my employees being so irresponsible. I know wat she does most of the time in office, its either talking and gossiping ith you or day dreaming which she usually does. So its better you don't defend her for her mistakes.

Vicky: bro if this is a mistake than you should also get angry on me as I was supposed to help her in the designs. So why only fire her, you can take that step fo me too.

Geet: nahi Vicky, ismein tumari koi galati nahi hai, yeh tho main hi thi jo apna kaam theek tarah se nahi kar payi.

Maan: its enough of you too. Geet I just want this designs to be completed today itself and want them on by table.i don't know how are you going to complete them. Aur haan Vicky you are not going to help her now as you are going to the Mehra's office with Adhi as there is some financial mistakes in their project. Aur haan geet mer ane se pehle mujhe file aur designs mere table pe chahye. I will beturning by 8pm in the office and I want them on the table. So its 3 pm now and you 5hours with you. Do you understand.

Geet nodes and leaves fro her cabin to work. Maan and Vicky respectively left for their meeting. Vicky badly wanted to help Maan but he could not do it. On reaching her cabin, geet started to work on the designs but her tears did not leave her. She was continuously crying. She worked non stop for about 3 hours. Due to continous crying she was feeling sleepy so she thought to wash her face first. As she steped out of her cabin she noticed tat the whole office was empty and tats when she realized it was passed 6pm. She saw the peon was switching off all the lights and told him tat not to switch of the lights and don't lock the office as she will be there till late. She told him to inform the guard tat she was insie and will be working. As the peon left to go geet proceeded to go to the washroom. She continuously remembered maan's words and again tears came in her eyes. As she was washing her face the current went making it dark inside the washroom. Geet panicked and started to search for the emergency lights but as it was pitch dark inside she could hardly see anything. as time passed her fear started to increase and overtook her. she started to scream with fear. She aagain felt rahul near her and coming close. She screamed continuously and later fainted.

At around 7 pm , Vicky arrived at KC and directly went inside geet's cabin. He found the cabin empty but geet's bag and cellphone were present. He started to search her and upon not finding he gto sacred. He called the guard and asked him whether geet left orr not and the guard told that geet was in trhe office only. he got panicked and searched her like a mad person. He reached near the washroom and found tat it was closed. Fear overtook him and he somehow knew tat something was wrong with geet. he called the gurad and both broke open the door and found geet lying on the floor all shivering. Vicky picked her up and drove towards the KM. on the way he called the doctor. He reached the Km and all were shocked to see geet unconscious in vicky's arms. He wernt to his room and laid her on the bed. Shailaja went to her and covered her with the blanket but her shivering was not reduced.

Ranjit: Vicky, yeh geet ko kya hua hai..

Vicky: dad. I don't know, when I reached in the office I found her lying on the floor of the washroom and she was shivering.

Dadima: par yeh achanal aise kaise behoos ho sakthi hai..

Vicky: dadima even I don't know. I have called the doctor.

The doctor arrived after sometime and examined geet. she gave her a injection an turnedto the others. ( doctor is a family friend of Handa's and khuranna's)

Doctor: Mr. Khuranna, yeh sab kab aur kaise hua hai. aisa lagtha hai ki yeh bahut samay tak behoos thi.

Vicky: I don't have any idea doctor but when I reached there I saw her lying unconscious on the floor.

Ranjit: doctor aakhir baat kya hai. geet aise behos kyu hai.

Doctor: Mr. khuranna she has got has again got a fear attack( sorry don't know the exact medical word for it) and duer to this she is in this state.

Dadmia: fear attack but how come.

Doctor: This is the next time she has got. She is afraid of darkness and I think she was all alone there when it was dark. Its better you take care of her as if this continous we wont be able to help her. just tell Maan tat I want ot meet him.

Ranjit: doctor is there any problem.

Doctor: right now I cant say anything but its better tat she comes out of this fear as fast as possible or she may hurt herself in future. Doctor leaves.

Dadima: Vicky yeh sab kya hai. aur doctor ne kyu kaha ki yeh dusri baar hai. aisi kya baat hai Vicky tat we don't know

Vicky: nothing serious dad.

Ranjit: nothing serious then why the hell the doctor said it.

Vicky: dad I just know tat geet gets sacred of darkness ever since she has returned from London. She never told the reason about her fear and she had once had got a similar attack long back. Tats it dad and nothing else.

Ranjit: where is maan. Does he know about geet.

Vicky: no dad I have been trying for him but his phone is nor switched off.

Maan on the other hand was more angry as none of his work was on time today., he also had some problem in the meeting and he returned to Kc at around 7.30pm only to find it empty. On not finding geet in her cabin and the design file on his table he became all the more angry. He asked the guard about geet and without hearing the whole truth he stormed out of the office to KM. he was so angry on Geet and Vicly for not completeing the work and going home even after getting warning.
