i agree completely...

gurmeet and drashti are actors and very talented ones at that... they will want to experiment and do new roles... some of these experiments may work and some may not... but at the end of the day it's their choice... bullying and bashing actors because of the choices they make in their careers and personal life is a very disturbing behaviour... i wish people realise that bashing and name calling will not get them a season 2... on the contrary, if the actors learn about this they will start alienating themselves from such a bunch of 'fans'... bashing and ridiculing one actor is not going to make the other actor appreciate the 'fans' who do it...

On a personal note, I too have met Gurmeet and Drashti personally and spoken with him several times. He is kind and caring and a respectful person. He loves all his fans whether they are from Ramayan or Geet ! He always says he works hard for his fans so that they are well entertained. He is a very dedicated and devoted performer . He is never arrogant, proud or takes anyone or anything for granted . Knowing all this, I can't allow anybody to insult or criticize him for not being a professional or that he insulted Geet fans by not wanting to do Geet 2.

I am looking forward to this new show and to see him in a completely new avatar which will catapult him in to more stardom ! So let's all meet at 10:30 PM on Feb 6th in front of Zee TV channel😊 I have confidence in him and this show will definitely rock !

agree with u dear...i have just read the interview...i didn't find it rude...its the truth...maaneet magic cannot be created again...don't get me wrong..i also want to watch them together again...but frankly,not now..i personally yhink,this couple needs a break...& he clearly said that he will give a thought about working with dd if he gets a good script...see he is very well aware about the importance of a good script...without a strong storyline, nothing can be happened...may be he will not work with dd again...its his life...let him decide his decision...

many people r saying that he was rude about his fans...how????...i found it nice that he acknowledged his GHSP-fans as well as Ramayan-fans...even i didn't watch his previous shows..that doesn't imply that other people also didn't watch it...right!!!!..i know he got world-wide recognition by geet...that doesn't mean he should forget his followers from his previous show...

i want to salute him for taking up such a challenging role..it will give him scopes to prove himself as a versatile actors...

with due respect to all fans,there r still many people who don't know him...so it is a great opportunity to grab those viewer's attention...zee network is coming out from saas-bahu saga..there r several new shows & those r really good in concept...so,i am hopeful about his new show...

I m just expecting people to calm down and take things in a more matured way .

I m also hurt with the turn of events since I was one of the front runners for season 2 campaign and will continue to do so even after this but I wont go around bashing ,cursing,taunting or bullying the actors and that new show or its actress as I m not a insecure person and only those who r insecure about certain things will do this blame game in my opinion 😊

very nice post eva.. i recognise GC from ghsp only & in every interview as Gc he looks very humble & down to earth person.. i am sure he can take his decision about shows is surely best for him.. & before watching the shows fans cannot make any suggessions regarding show or GC..👍🏼

i am Gurti's fan so i will watch GC's & DD's show on any channel.. 😆

Eva nice post. Jyothi I agree with u. Bashing will make the situations worse for the actors. But was sad bcz of the scrutiny article where SINCERE GHSP fans were Subverted. I don't want to believe he has given such contrary interview where in one he says geet is his baby and he became famous due to it and now chewing gum which is not true. It was the fastest moving stories. Since the holi fiasco the story went haywire bcz of CH problem bcz it wanted to go for revamp and if it takes serious side of maan's past by introducing sameera and keep NTfor long time as we were prefering then it would not end at required time. So they kept the simple circus fillers which didn't need story a random script was required to end geet ay any time when they get prepared for revamp. Nothing to bash I understand they have to try different things to prove themselves. But the interview was lil harsh. I appreciate him that he want to keep maan &geet character sacred.👍🏼

Actually...yeah...if d actors hav decided with themselves we shud get over this...& thinking of wat DD & GC told abt taking up new roles etc...etc...I want 2 dream 2 see DD opposite a handsum hunk...😉...Oh GC's plane has already boarded off...wen will DD's ...😛😳😳😳😃...I am impatiently waiting for her 2 get a new project...😃😃😃

I would be one of the happiest person if Geet2 happens.. I miss it like crazy... I even told Gurmeeet and Drashti the same when I called them before I left India..

And after coming back home I keep on watching the old episode from my collection of DVDs... that now my family is sick of Mahi...

And of course Jyo I am there with you all the way for it to happen...

But meanwhile when the PH has closed the show.. When the channel has shut down.. We sincerely cannot believe that the actors whose livelihood is acting will wait on the sidelines and wait for someone to come with the new script and new PH to produce Geet2.

I think ZeeTV is pretty aware of the fact that Gurmeet and Drashti are hot pair as on the Zee award they won the best jodi award and as Gurmeet himself said that their votes were much much far ahead then any other jodi and there was no doubt that they won with millions of votes..

So when zee had conducted the award they know it pretty well..

Another thing...

Gurmeet and Drashti are professional actors. They are really thankful to their fans for their love and support to them personally and as the online jodi.. but at the same time acting is their livelihood and they have to keep on working..

As I said Gurmeet and Drashti both had decided before the Geet ended that they will work with different actors and with different kind of role.. So personally as their fans I would accept their decision and respect that..

Yes we desperately want to see them together but at the same time it is their career and they know better which role to take and how to proceed considering all POV..

Gurmeet is coming on ZeeTV. Yes it is dramatic channel may be famous for sas bahu shows... but at the same time it has wide viewer population and also it is an old established channel..

For me Gurmeet is progressing pretty well...

He had Ramayan on NDTV with less viewers

He had Geet on Starone with limited viewers.. even they had to close down the channel and end the show

and now he is on Zee TV with wide viewer population...

I think as an actor he has done good progress... and we have to consider that for him too..

and His role...

Ppl call him many names and make fun of him calling him uncle and what not...

But can you look at his POV and as an actor how challanging the role is for him.???

He was perfect man as Ram...

He was a macho and a romantic as Maan

But a father of two little girls and remarrying due to some circumstances???

Isn't that a unique role!!!!

Which young actor in his right mind want to do the "father" role????

So I think he is really a great actor and he did not hesitate to take such a challanging role and I truly love that in him that he is not only working for the fame but a satisfaction as an actor to really do diversified role...

So we as their true fans let's wait and watch it and make it a success because we loved him as Ram...we loved him as Maan and we are going to love him as Sidharth because it is him we love and we want all the best for him..

and the same will go for Drashti.. whatever role and whatever channel she comes on we will watch it and appreciate their talents because we know from Geet that they are the best and none can come closer to their talents...

Yes I absolutely love Gurmeet and Drashti and love them individually and love them as Gurti... Maaneet and what ever you want to call them...

But I love them uncondtionally and I will watch their show as Gurmeet and Drashti and with whatever pair they come with in future because I have confident on them and their acting ability that whatever they will do they will give their 100% and make it a success and of course they depend upon us to make it a success as they cannot be on the top without us..

And guys believe me do not believe any report or any interview you read is from Gurmeet or Drashti unless they say it themselves..

As far as I know Gurmeet personally meeting him and talking to him on several occasions... Please believe me when I say this

Gurmeet would never make a statement differetiating his fans.. He loves all equally.

He knows very well how much the Geet fans loved him and how hard they work to make him a huge success and he loves them all the same...

I think what he indicated by that statement is that he was loved as Ram and his ramayan fans followed him in Geet... after that he was loved as Maan so he wants his Geet fans follow him in Puner Vivah the same way...

So guys the bottom line is he is expecting and waiting for us to follow him in his new show and he knows that he cannot be on the top without us.. He is depending upon us and how can we, his fans let hiim down??? of couse we will follow him where ever he goes...

I have met many actors on the set of Geet and on other shows and I think He is one of the most polite and most gentle actor I have ever come across...

So please do not believe anything printed on behalf of him unless he says it himself...

both Drasht & Gurmeet are scintillating actress & actor

& i'm like you a GHSP fan i have watched GHSP from it's 1st episode till it's last whenever never missed any of the episodes whenever i missed any of it's epi..i used to watch it on internet

i have watch Drashti on DMG as Dr. Muskaan n we all loved her as Muskaan when i seen DD in GHSP in it's 1st episode i was shocked 😲 as Geet was totally opposite of Muskaan coz Muskaan was full of life, cute & beautiful just like DD but geet was so sweet ,mature & innocent beside geet was facing so much problems...& she did full juctice with both her roles 👏

& we loved her more & more as Geet

now i'm sure she will rock in her new venture too

same here like you Gurmeet was like a new comer 4 me coz i haven't watched her previous show...but i heard he was fab in his previous show too & MSK was totally opposite of his previous role

we loved him as MSK & i'm sure his previous show fans loved him more & more as MSK too 👏

now i'm sure he will rock in his new venture too

the way both DD & GC had pick up the roles is fab the will do totally justice to their new roles too

i will miss them a lot as maaneet & will be eagerly waiting 4 there come back together in a new show or GHSP season 2 in future

till that wish them all the best 4 their new ventures & may they get all the happiness & prosperity
