its so heartening to see such mature posts...
eva...well we all know GC and DD are down to earth and humble souls and wud never let success get in to their head...
its just that some fans tend to suffer from selective amnesia and just jump to conclusions and want to impose their fantasies on these actors...and when refused they begin their tirade against the very actors whom they used to worship till yesterday...

hope they grow out of this immaturity and continue to support them in their future ventures😛

thnaks eva for making this post...i think pepole are so emotionally attached that they are lashing out when ghsp did not happen...but we have to understand the actors did not end the show the channel did...the actors never lied..they kept saying ghsp-2 is not possible...so we should be thankful to both gurti for giving us maaneet...

We should let it go for the moment and see what projects GC DD are doing if we are fans of them. And if they want to do a show together in future then it is good. But I am not hoping anymore because they have moved on.

Media is also cashing on their popularity by publicizing things everyday some true and some may not be true. That is the reason everybody is hurt and react everyday diffrently.

Eva, what a lovely and truthful post 👏 You have met him several times and got to know him personally as well as Drashti and the other cast. whatever you observed is absolutely correct. The reasons you have given are justified regarding GC and DD. They wanted to explore other territories and spread their wings so to speak. They did not want to boxed in to doing just one show . According to me, Geet should have ended before the clowns took over and ruined the whole concept of the show and it became a mockery. Both GC and DD acted through all that chaos without even one complaint because the viewers wanted to see them. When the channel decided to shut it, all were helpless.
I personally did not fight for Geet 2, as I felt they both needed some change and a different story. I also wanted to see them act together again, but if they themselves don't want, what is the use of fans calling and bugging the PH and channels to put them together. They are their own individuals and not dolls that will act according to our wishes . I am very glad that Gurmeet has taken up a challenging role , that of a father and remarriage as well. This is the best platform to prove his talent and show everyone he can shine in a macho, hot Maan role as well as a more mature role . Instead of admiring his strength, people are bashing him for choosing this project !

On a personal note, I too have met Gurmeet and Drashti personally and spoken with him several times. He is kind and caring and a respectful person. He loves all his fans whether they are from Ramayan or Geet ! He always says he works hard for his fans so that they are well entertained. He is a very dedicated and devoted performer . He is never arrogant, proud or takes anyone or anything for granted . Knowing all this, I can't allow anybody to insult or criticize him for not being a professional or that he insulted Geet fans by not wanting to do Geet 2.

I am looking forward to this new show and to see him in a completely new avatar which will catapult him in to more stardom ! So let's all meet at 10:30 PM on Feb 6th in front of Zee TV channel😊 I have confidence in him and this show will definitely rock !
