Hello everyone...
Many have started the blame game on Gurmeet taking the new show as people were so much wanted to see Geet part 2.. Even I was one of them to hope for it. I also never wanted Geet to end as I absolutely love my Maaneet... and never wanted it to end as I am not sure what I would watch if Geet ends... but let's be resonable and consider this...
I would just like to say this..
I have known Gurmeet for almost a year now and it is my very personal experience that he is very gentle and humble person.
I never knew him before Geet and has not even seen Ramayan so I am strickly Geet fan and He has shown the same love and respect to me that he has shown to his other previous fans
I also have seen him interacting with many of his fans and he treated them all the same way very gently and lovingly even though he was too tired to even sit and talk.
He loves all his fans equally and for him there is no Ramayan fan or Geet fan. He knows very well that the fans have made him a star that he is today.
Gurmeet loved doing Geet and so did Drashti. They have given their best for the character of Geet and Maan but we also have to consider that they are actors and they want to try different characters...
Gurmeet and Drashti both have the same views that right now they would like to do different shows and may be if good script come their way they may act together but for now they will take a break.
So people let's stop this blame game and let them enjoy their career the way they want to and let's see if some one has good script for them to work... Let's hope that we may see them together sometime with powerful script..
This are stricly my POVs and my personal experience with them hope there are many who feels the same...
So let's just appreciate what they gave us as Maan and Geet and let's move forward to watch and enjoy their next adventure and be a part of it...

God i so agree.. Grow up people. They are professional actors, making decisions that are best for their respective careers.

I accept that we are too attached to GEET, and Geet and Maan, but at the end of the day they were fictional characters brought to life by both GC and DD. They were excellent and it showed.

What wrong did GC say anyway. In fact both of them say they would like to work with new people on new shows. and whats wrong about that !
If he said that GEET was being stretched like a chewing gum, hes right! we , the fans of the show, had been ruing the demise of the original characters , and the story, since January last year. The CVs just couldn't get it right after their marriage.

After april, it had become practically impossible to watch the show, with no sign of any story, or characters with any backbone.

I am sure, they both sincerely appreciate the love of their fans, but that does not make them beholden to us ! The expectations and opinions of some fans here has turned most unreasonable and unwarranted.

I loved them both as Geet and Maan, and would be most happy if they ever come back to work together, but until then, I wish them all the very best for everything they venture into.

Yes at the end we all were tired of comedy circus and Maan memory loss thing...
So he is right as after this there was no solid story... They could have gone so many different ways and bring in so many good new characters and take it different way but the PH was not eager to do so and for that actors are not to be blamed...
Did you guys forget how we had to tolerate those shopping mall fiasco with Dev and Lucky?? OMG.. that was just tooo much..

Damn right ! and they had made a mockery of Maan Singh KHurana! What he was until January and what they reduced him to till april ! unrecognizable ! sad.

I should have given up on the show in february itself, but I stuck to see the show suffer till the end. Even Geet was reduced to doing inane stupid things, being a silly over enthusiastic housewife. 😳.. and that circus.. the less said the better.

and whatever be the craze on the net, the fact of the matter is the show registered dismal trp's. Why would any PH or channel invest in that? whoever butchered the story, that fact was that the show could not be salvaged.

Who in their right minds would want to incur such losses?

And GC, and DD have been the most modest and humble actors I have come across on television. They were simple people , content with their personal lives and worked amiably together. They gave a super show, and isnt that sufficient?

and also we have to consider that he is going to get more viewers on Zee network then what he got on the NDTV with Ramayan and Starone with Geet.
Zee is pretty established and more popular network and being on the Zee network He will have more audience watching him and Zee TV always have family drama. So it is vast horizon for him and I think he took a very bold decision to portray this kind of Character of being a widower father..
Many actors run away from this kind of role but he took it as he feels it is challanging and he would like to do it.. I truly applaud his selection as he has not done this kind of role and it is totally new and challanging role for him...

you know when I saw the actress he's working with in the new show, I was pretty sure I wasnt going to watch it, cuz i dont like her.😆 But then I saw the promo..

I have to say, the concept is new and he looks very very interesting. I thought even the new look kind of suits him. There's something about seeing him play a father that has captured my attention. Now I am eager to check the show out.😎

I am just hoping to see DD soon... I simply adore her. I hope she comes in something good as well. .. on a big channel.

Thank you for your post...the bashing and the blaming on the forum is seriously getting out of hand...It's like a war zone

I for one am glad that GC and DD are not working together straight away on their next project...as they say familiarity breeds contempt and I would much prefer to see them after a long break should they ever decide to come together on another show...their chemistry will look more fresh then...

Till then I will at least give his show a chance because I really do appreciate his talent and because he's playing a father to two girls it's a role different to MSK and hence will give him a chance to grow as an actor...
