Scene 1:
Ludhiana Airport
Geet, baby and Nandini came out and hired a taxi to Hoshiarpur. They didn't inform anyone at home in Hoshiarpur, since they wanted to surprise them.
...
Some hours later...
Geet became nostalgic seeing the corn fields, the mustard flowers tossing gleefully in the breeze, the streams, village people...
"Didi, aap ro rahi hain? Aaj toh aapko khush hona chahiye."
"Nandini, khush hoon...bahut khush hoon...Main iss jagah ko, apne gaun ko kitna miss karti thi," she saw her old school, "Nandini mera school..."
The excitement was beyond description...She was on cloud nine...
Her mobile rang...
"Hello, Maan"
"Geet, tum kahan ho...How many times did I try to call you? But you just won't pick up."
"I am sorry Maan. Woh flight main switch off karne ke baad, bhool gayi thi...Hum waise Hoshirapur pahunch gaye hain. Thodi der main ghar pahunch jayenge. Maan thank you, aapne aaj mujhe bahut badi khushi di hai...I love you."
"Geet, tum mujhe thank you kah rahi ho...toh theekh hai...ab tum bhi suno...I want to thank you for coming into my life, i want to thank you for marrying me...preparing breakfast...black coffee...this...that..."
"Maan...bas...I am sorry. Main samajh gayi. I am sorry."
"SORRY!"
"Nahi nahi...I didn't say anything...chaddo mujhe aapse baat hi nahi karni."
"Geet, wait...naraaz ho gayi."
"Maan...aap Delhi main toh mujhe pareshaan karne ka koi mauka nahi chodte the...par ab jab main yahan aa gayi hoon, tabhi aap ko mazzak soojh raha hai...Mujhe toh lagta hai aap mujhe pyaar hi nahi karte..."

"Mr Maan Singh Khurana...Khabardaar jo aapne phone kati toh...Kaun hai yeh Inna Mina Dika?"
"Clients hai Geet...ab main unhe mana thodi na kar sakta hoon...They are so desperate to meet me, aura b jab tum bhi nahi ho toh phir mujhe kya darr..."
"MAAN" she whines...
"Geet...main mazzak kar raha tha...Please rona nahi."
"Mr Khurana...main bhi mazzak kar rahi thi...Main apne Maan ko acchi tarah janti hoon...Woh sirf aur sirf Geet se pyaar karte hain...aur karte rahenge..."
"Love you Geet, Bye...Accha ruko, howz my Junior..."
"Aapki awaaz sunkar uth gaya...Baby Paapa se baat karo..."
She places the mobile next to his moth, and he utters some goo goo, gaa gaa into it...
Maan is overwhelmed...
"Bye baby...Apki Mamma ko meri taraf se ek kiss de dena."
Scene 2:
Maan and Vicky at office
"Bro, main chalta hoon. I have to meet some of my old friends here in Delhi."
"Alright...tum dinner tak toh aa jaoge naa."
"I don't think so, Bro...Subah milte hain."
"Okay, take care, aur Dadima ko phone kar dena."
Vicky leaves...
Adi enters...
"Sir, woh kal aapka Ms Arora ke saath meeting fix kar diya hai."
"Good, but please make sure this time she attends it. Pichli baar ki tarah..."
"No Sir, this time, it won't happen."
"Good, accha Adi, Driver se kaho gaadi nikalne ke liye...I'll go home now. Dadi akeli hain."
"Okay Sir."
Scene 3:
KM
"Dadima, aap mera wait kar rahi thi?"
"Haan beta, ab toh hum dono hi hai yahan par, akele...I am missing Geet and baby terribly. Waise Geet ne phone kiya tha, aur woh ghar pahunch gayi hai. Aapka phone shayad busy tha isliye aapko bata nahi payi."
"Acha Dadima, main change karke aata hoon. Nakul, mere liye ek black coffee bana do."
He leaves...
Scene 4:
Hoshiarpur
Handas' Haveli
The house is bustling with noise, laughs and excited talks...
Everyone wants to sit with Geet, hug her and ask her about Maan and baby.
Baby was being tossed from one aunty to another...
Baby was enjoying the attention...which made Geet remember about Maan...
She smiles thinking about him...
"Geet puttar...tu bahut kamzor ho gayi hai...tere sasuraal wale tujhe bhookha rakhte hai kya."
"Arre Biji, woh..."
"Kuch mat bol, le yeh kha..." and the auntie stuffs a huge paneer ka pakora into her mouth...
Scene 5:
Maaneet's room
Maan opens the wardrobe...and Geet's duppatta springs out onto his face...
He is lost in the fragrance of Geet...something special to Geet alone...
His eyes are closed...
And he feels her near him, whispering into his ears...
"Maan...I love you."
He opens his eyes, removes the duppatta from his face and sits on the bed.
"Geet, mera toh tumhare bina bura haal hai, pata nahi tum wahan kya kar rahi ho..."
Scene shifts to Hoshiarpur...
Where Geet is having a blast meeting all her relatives, friends...dancing and having one of the best times of her life...ofcourse the bestest being the time when she is with Maan.
Baby is dressed up in typical Punjabi attire of salwar and kurta and don't forget the turban. Poor baby...he looked like a dwarf in a giant's dress...
Teji, Pammi and Biji also arrive...
Geet goes to her old room with Titu and Rajji. They talk about old days and hug each other. Baby is brought in by Geet's mum.
"Le Geet, pakad apne bete ko...Kab se roye jaa raha hai. Lagta hai bhookh lagi hai. Tu isse doodh pila de nahi toh nani ka baccha apna ro ro kar apna gala phad dega. She lisps to baby who just wants to jump into Geet's arms.
"Arre Ma, yeh sab kya pehna diya hai baby ko...bhookh se nahi...garmi se chilla raha hai..."
She removes the clothes and that is when Baby breathes peacefully. Anyway she feeds baby and the Rajji takes her...
"Rajji, dhyaan se..."
"Geet didi, ab toh main isse kisi ko bhi nahi doongi...Oye oye"
Titu too runs behind her to play with baby.
Geet's mum sits with her and strokes her cheek...
"Geet kaise hai tu?"
Geet breaks out and hugs her...
"Main bilkul theekh hoon, aapki, pappaji ki, sabki bahut yaad aati thi..."
"Humein bhi puttar, teri bahut yaad aati thi."
Scene 6:
Maaneet's room
Nakul brings black coffee
"Sir, coffee."
"Rakh do, Nakul."
"Sir, woh aapke liye koi yeh bouquet chod gaya hai."
"Bouquet?? Kahan hai?"
Nakul hands over the bouquet...
"Accha tum ab jaao"
"Yeh kaun ho sakta hai..." he picks up the card and reads, "To Maan...With love" he again looks at the red roses, "Red roses, pakka Geet ne bhijwaya honge...Abhi call kar ke uski khabar leta hoon, he smiles and picks up his mobile."
He rings her but she won't pick up...
Scene shifts to Hoshiarpur...
Geet is busy talking to her mum, and her phone is in vibrating mode, which is lying inside her bag.

Scene 1:
KM
Maan gets ready for office. His mobile rings...
"Yes Adi, I'll be there in a few minutes. I hope everything is arranged."
"Yes Sir, Ms Arora called and she's confirmed to us that there won't be delay."
"Good."
Downstairs...
"Nakul, Vicky is home?"
"Ji sir, he's in his room."
"And Dadima, where's she?"
"She's waiting for you at the breakfast table."
"Okay."
...
"Maan, Goodmorning, Geet kahan hai?"
"Dadima, she's in Hoshiarpur..."
"Oh yes, I forgot, uski adat si ho gayi hai."
"I understand Dadima...Why don't you go and see your friends? You'll feel better."
"You are right beta...I'll do that. Would you please pass me that juice."
Scene 2:
Office
Conference room
"Sir, she's already here."
"Alright Adi, send Sasha with the necessary papers."
He then goes in...
One hour later...
Everyone comes out except Maan and Ms Arora/ Sam.
"Adi Sir kya baat hai? Boss and woh Ms Arora kya discuss kar rahe honge in private?"
"Mujhe kya pata Romeo. But, this is something very important or Sir would'nt ask all of us to leave...Sasha ko bahar jaane ko kaha? Something really serious."
"I think they both know eachother."
"Yeah maybe...abhi jao yahan se nahi toh Sir mujhe daantege."
That's when Adi's mobile rings...
"Adi Sir, main Geet bol rahi hoon."
"Geet, bolo, how was your trip?"
"Good...accha aap yeh batayiye Maan kahan hai? Unka mobile kal se nahi lag raha. Unhone mujhe call kiya tha, par main unse baat nahi kar payee. Sab theekh hai na Adi sir. Pata nahi subah se mera mann bahut ghabra raha hai, jaise koi bahut badi problem aane wali ho. Maan toh theekh hai na."
"Geet, sab theekh hai. Please tum yahan ke baare main ya Maan sir ke baare main soch kar apna trip mat kharaab karo. Sir, bas ek meeting main hai. Aur jaise hi woh bahar aayenge, main unse baat kara doonga..."
Maan and Sam come out together...in a hurry...Adi rushes to him...
"Sir...sir...Geet, apse baat karna chahti hai...Sir..."
"Adi, not now..."
Adi couldn't believe his ears or his eyes...
Maan was holding her hands and was pulling her with him while entering the lift, looking completely shaken.
"Adi Sir, kya hua, woh mujhse baat kyun nahi karna chahte hai?"
"G...g...Geet...woh kuch nahi, he's still busy with the clients...You don't worry."
"Adi Sir, aap mujhse kuch chupa rahein hain..."
"Koi baat nahi hai, accha Geet, main chalta hoon...Sir mujhe bula rahein hai."
Sasha overhears their conversation and wonders why Adi lied to Geet. She decides to find out the real reason.
Scene 3:
(Flashback)
Some hours before she called Adi...early morning...
"Geet puttar, tu tayyar nahi hui, sab intezaar kar rahe hain."
"Ma, main tayyar hoon...Woh Aditya ko tayyar kar loon, phir chalet hain."
"Beta, tu uski fikar mat kar, Rajji usse lekar baad main aa jayegi. Pooja ka samay beeta jaa raha hai. Shiv ji ka abhishek karna hai...aur humein samay par pahunchana hai."
It was Shivratri, and like all women, she too had kept fast and was going to keep the vigil all night for the well being of her husband and son.
She pecks her baby on his chubby cheek and leaves with her mother.
She was feeling weird...something ominous was gonna happen...
"Om Namah Shivay..." she chanted with all her heart... "Bholenath, please protect my family."
After coming from the temple, the first thing she decides to do is call Maan, when he doesn't answer, she calls Adi...and...rest is known.
