@Jyo and Sia: I have to agree that it is sabotage. There is absolutely no other explanation for showing us so much crap in the name of comedy. It actually reminds me of what Barry said on his wall when there was that huge feminist outcry at the idea of Dev marrying Nano without confessing his past properly or being punished for his sin that could have easily ruined Geet's life, or worse, gotten her killed. It's only because she is in a show that she was saved by Maan. Otherwise Dev would have surely had blood on his hands. I copied this on a desktop note thing and kept it and just thought back to it.

So there were people fighting for our cause even within the team, and people who were not allowing them to do the kind of work they wanted. It all seems so clear now.

How I wish Geet had been on SP instead! It's TRPs would have been through the roof and maybe it wouldn't have suffered all the consequences of the channel trying to redo its image. Unfortunately from what I see, Geet's timing was a bit off. It caught just the tail end of SO's heyday in youth popularity and was just too early to make it into SP's surge of youthful shows like Navya, Behna and even DABH.

It is torturous to think how different the outcome could have been if the show had been given a steadier platform, a chance at really competing in the TRP game and obviously, the genuine attention of the money hungry PH.

It's truly a sad story. But I am thankful that I got to know of Geet and thankful that there is youtube so even though I found it late, I didn't have to miss a single moment of the magic.

On that note, I am going to call it a night! Good night everyone! 😃
