Superb opening post Jhan! 👏
Funnily enough, that is exactly what I wrote on indya.com, telling them to get a writer that new the story inside out to carry it forward, exploring the very missed opportunities that you mention.
The most important, of course, if they ever have hope of reviving the story is Dev's punishment. He should either serve his jail sentence while Nandini waits for him in A'sar (hence giving justice while sending Nano away) or be shown to be off doing some relevant community service. The final option would be if he were to die for Maaneet but to be honest, I don't think that is punishment enough. 😈
Only the Maaneet scenes were worth watching today. I wish they hadn't had MSK see Lucky, but oh well. Mamaji is clearly being mistaken for someone else which is lame. I would have much preferred if Adi, Vinod, and the cook had come on their HM but whatever.
I loved Geet's giggle when she and Maan were sneaking out. It was absolutely precious. Maan's laugh when he saw Geet in his clothes was also gosh darn adorable! And was that DD's real hair? It looked like it and it was pretty! I guess we didn't get too much Maaneet today because of residual effects of Nachle Ve. Hopefully that will change tomorrow with the promising build up of the vestren druss! ☺️
So I feel like they are hinting that we should brush the ML under the carpet. It's not like they ever paid heed to the past story anyway, so what's new MP? Today MSK said shaadi ke itne din baad, which doesn't have to really mean anything but I just feel like it's slipped in there. Also Adi's comment about "yaadash" seem like a shout out from Barry about the ML. I don't know, maybe I am going crazy. Who wouldn't in this situation? 😆
WHAT was MSK holding up for Geet to wear to dinner? It looked too small to be anything appropriate for public wear. 😳 He looked so happy when the receptionist said they only sell western clothes. I also loved the precap and Geet chucking the box violently at him. Poor guy. He is doing the best he can...😉
I can't wait to see what she wears. ☺️ It better be adorable!
Also I loved where they chose to place his hand on her back when he pulled her in after laughing. It was very different as he usually grabs her waist and she looked so adorable in his clothes!
I want to wear Maan's clothes. ☺️
