@Shivi: Ok I have to admit you have a good point. Even I would have loved to see her get one good blow in before he drugged her. In fact they could have shown this without much changing the script. by showing the first gun shot and then Geet vengefully kneeing Vikram in his boy parts, causing him to let her go, and then running over to Maan, and then showing Vikram shooting from a kneeling position, hitting Maan's leg and dragging Geet away. Then they could have continued the way they did.

I also said in my analysis that she could have thrown herself over Maan's body and asked Viks to kill her first which would have put him in something of a conundrum and given her a few minutes to create a makeshift plan.

But to be honest, while it could have been better. I am pretty happy with what we did get. It was not superb or anything but it was well-handled. Baby steps for MP.

I would also like to take the liberty of interpreting her screaming out Maan, not as a cry for help or rescue, but almost as a shield against Vikram. Calling out Maan's name made his presence felt there even though she knew he wasn't anywhere near and it was clearly getting on Vikram's nerves. So since it is not set in stone, I am going to say that she was calling out to Maan to defy Vikram.
