@Jyoti: I agree the trust that MSK showed in his Geet today is what makes this couple unique and makes us willing to go through anything to keep watching them. Even Geet was scared for a second that Maan wouldn't believe her and she would have to live alone with the knowledge of what she had seen and he reassured her both verbally (Barry!) and physcially (Sundeep!).

I also loved the choice of words here, which I looked out for especially in my second viewing. Maan doesn't say he "believes" her, which in itself would have been enough but he says "mein janta hun ki tum sach keh rahi ho" meaning it's not just that he believes her but that he absolutely knows she is telling the truth. It's a subtle difference, but to me it really cemented Maan's characterisation in today's episode. He never believes Geet because he loves her, he believes her because he knows she is right and hence could never lie.

@Shivi: I loved your dissection of my favourite hug of the episode. That is exactly what i thought when I saw it. Geet wanted to hide in Maan's arms. And Barry strikes again because later she asks him to promise that he will never let her go far away from his bahein, which closed that loop beautifully!

I love that we have episodes with mean worth dissecting again, not whoopie cushion episodes that were filled with air and made crude noises when you put pressure on them.

@Suj: You are forgiven, but only because I do not have MSK's temper. 😆
And we so need a tai chi session! This was one of the biggest disappointments of the ML track for me. I thought it would guarantee some hoo haas but no luck so far!
Now that I look back, he was shirtless half the time in A'sar 😍
People say your inhibitions are reduced when you are in disguise. I guess that applies to MSK as Balwant Singh. 😕

@Samana:Exactly ...MSK with his words actually once again confirmed to Geet that he can still read her eyes and face and so he knows that she is telling him the truth 😳

Jyoti: Another amazing thing I noticed about Sundeep is that he has almost completely gotten rid of those endless eyelocks with Mahii playing in the background, which had frankly become quite monotonous, especially when they were dished out like candy to make us shut up about other flaws in the script. He is a smart director and doesn't need the cliched eyelocks or mahiis as crutches. He can make each scene, each hug unique. For this I salute him.

One of the recent hugs I just can't get over is when Geet listens to MSK's heartbeat after he tells her his heart beats only for her. I watch it at least once a day. 😳

And of course, Barry is a genius with words! I love the words he chooses sometimes, even to the smallest level of detail like today. There is a difference between "yakin" and "sach" and he used such a subtle nuance to define a character. His deep knowledge of words and the way they work amazes me on a daily basis.
