The Khurana mansion was illuminated with hundreds of candles, expensive curtains draped around the pillars and chandeliers to celebrate the business deal that would take KC to new heights. The guests entered gazing around in awe, soon the sounds of laughter and chatter echoed the inside the halls. Mirth and delight graced the party. Waiters dress in black and white, carried trays of the finest champagne. Men were dressed in their finest suites and women in their most stunning gowns, trying to impress everybody around them. The media were trying to take pictures of various celebrities as security was escorting them out, this was the party of the year and everybody wanted a glimpse of it. Today, there was no strange or familiar faces, as masks covered their identity.
[Goes into a flash back of Maan and Geet]
[The idea sprang to her late at night, Maan and Geet sitting on the bed. Geet in her nighty, Maaan in his tracksuit- shirtless preferably]
Geet- (Enthusiastic voice) "Maan, come on it will be great. No one will recognise each other, so everybody will accept the other with any hesitance. There will be no discrimination like there usually is in these parties."
Maan- (Serious tone) "But Geet, what about the security? No Geet it's too unsafe.
[Facing Geet, holding her face in his palms]
I can't face anything happening to you, not again. I've lost you so many times. I won't do anything that will potentially harm you"
Geet- (Upset, whiney) Maan! You can't even do this for me? Think about it, it'll be fun to mix with others without any hesitation"
Maan- " You know I can't deny you anything, fine. But only if I increase the security, Okay?"
[Scene ends with Geet smiling, and leaning to hug Maan]
Elders showered their blessings on the newly married couples; Lucky, Preeto and Nandani, Dev. Silence spread across the room, as they watched the couple descend down the stairs. Maan and Geet. They were the ideal couple, an inspiration to others. They all wanted to share a bond so strong, such as Maan and Geet.
[Maan and Geet descend the stairs slowly with Geet's arms hooked around Maan's arm]
Maan- "Please can I have everybody's attention; I would like to thank each one of you for attending and celebrating with us on this joyous occasion"
[The crowd erupted into an applause. All but one person. The camera zooms into a man, wearing a black blazer and mask holding a glass of champagne]
[Geet dressed in a cream saree, Maan in a black blazer suit]
Geet- "Thank you for joining us today, please feel free to go to the dance floor. Thank you"
[The party goes on, everybody having a good time]
[Adi comes in with a mike, and asks for everyone's attention]
Adi: "Hheelllooo eveerryy oonee, th..thank...you...for...co..co..coming...I..I'd...llliikkeee...too requ...eess...request...alll...ccc...coup...couples...tooo..the...da...dance...floor.
[The lights dim, spotlights and music comes on. A passionate track, something like Sholon si- Shabd. Maan and Geet dance]
Maan and Geet had been lost in each others passionate moves, growing closer. Whilst they are unaware of a pair of eyes watching them intently with utter abhorrence.
[At the end, the partners switch. Maan dances with others and Geet dances with others]
The man, who is currently dancing with Geet, pulls her closer. [Camera zooms to her waist] His grip tightens around her waist, his fingers digging into her flesh. She winces in pain and tries to move away- he tightens his hold and she struggles against him. The song ends and before Maan can see, he moves away and leaves.
[She feels her waist and winces. Maan comes to her]
Maan: "Are you okay Geet?"
Geet: "Yeah I'm fine"

[Maan and Geet in the bedroom. Geet sitting in front of the mirror. Flashbacks of the dance worry her. She also thinks about the phone calls and notes too. Maan walks towards her]
Maan- (worried tone) "What happened, Geet? For the past few days you seem upset. Is something worrying you? Even in the party, you seemed really worried."
Geet- (Reassuring tone) No Maan, I assure you there is nothing. I'm just exhausted; this business deal has really stressed me out. That's it, nothing else.
Maan- (Tone turns naughty suddenly)- Fine let me help you.
[He takes of her tikka and kisses her forehead. Then proceeds to her ears and takes off her earing leaving a kiss. Removing the earring he brushes his lips across her nape. He leans down to the ground and removes her bangles one by one, kissing her wrist trailing up to her palm and leaves a kiss on each finger. He then proceeds to her waist chain but sees something.]
Maan- What is this Geet?
[He moves her sari aside, and there is a bruise]
Maan- (Suddenly worried- How did this happen?
[He runs his fingers across her waist, and she winces]
Geet- (Stumbles)I...d..don't kn..know Maan (she remembers the dance) I must of bumped into something. You know how big of a klutz I am! (Trying to divert his attention.
Maan- But Geet, these are finger marks.
[He stands up]
Who dares to touch my Mishti? I will kill him!
[His hands clench into fists. Geet hugs him, stoking his back to calm him]
Geet- (Trying to lighten the mood) You know, I bet it was you. You always get out of control! (blushes)
Maan- (Not convinced) Yes, but I would never go to the extent of hurting you Geet!
Geet- Leave it Maan! I'm tired let's go to sleep, we have to get up early tomorrow.
[Geet pulls Maan towards the bed. Camera zooms in to show Maan worried]
Maan- (Self thought) I know Geet is trying to hide something, but I'll find out no matter what.
