@Opti:I dont agree that awards r the only way of getting fame and popularity ..today even in films scenario is changed ...one who gets awards does not guarantee a hit film and one who never gets award always guarantees mass hysteria 😆...my point is awards today hv become like a biggest joke with every channel hv spl awards for them ..like zee has gold award ,so obviously they will give it to pavitra rishta couple 😆...star plus hv ITA awards and so they will give it to yeh rishta couple 😆...colors ka new talent awards r coming and there balika vadhu will take the cake 😆..mayb we should sponsor some award for poor star one and rest assured Gurti will get it there 😆.,..but why I specially mentioned Gurti getting couple award is because they managed to gatecrash a rival channel award show and achieve the award which no other trp shows could do and thats why its a big achievement I feel 😳...I dont think they can achieve more than what they hv achieved in this show ..its the max they can achieve and continuing this brand with a fresh look can take them to places if star one is revamping with a proper idea to make sure it gets a good recognition like other channels ...
The point was not about the couple award. I am talking of the best actor and best actress award. I'm sure all actors would want to achieve one. Given the calibre of the leads we have they would surely stand the best chance to win it in whichever lead channel you mentioned. How can we say that they cannot achieve anything more than this? In our self interest we may want them to continue playing Maaneet (I too would like them to continue) but that does not always have to be the best for them too. Revamp ios not going to give instant fame to the channel. It would take time. Dont know if the show will continue that long especially if they have the crappy CV team they currently have.If u see all other stars ...talented mayb ..but they all r left as one show wonders ...What shabbir achieved in Kayamath ,he could not achieve the same pinacle in laagi tujhse lagan ..Shabbir made a wrong choice in Laagi. People were **** off because Mishal was given an unceremonious exit and he was filling his shoes. No replacement hero gets the same adulation. If shabbir had taken a new show, maybe he would have done better..what Harshad achieved in kis desh mein hai mera dil ,he could not achieve the same pinacle in tere liye and even dharampatni started with extreme low ratings unfortunately ...what Iqbal could achieve in kaisa yeh pyaar hai ,he could never achieve in rest of his later shows including sangini on zee ...among actresses also same trend ...especially if a couple is branded ,then it becomes impossible to achieve same success with another actor ..Ram Kapoor has disproved this theory. He is equally successful in the sony show. A good actor will do well anywhere.and producers will never want to repeat a successful jodi either and so an actor's career suffers or takes a beatingJust because they have not repeated a pair does not mean they will never do so in future. By the way Karan and Kritika were repeated. One can argue that the show was not a hit but then the story was so hopeless even they could not redeem it.
