Jyo, the entire episode was not wasted on bakri comedy. We had the 'joooce' comedy too! The point is I have such low expectations from that show, I find it quite funny and entertaining. We dont have a serious theme such as GHSP in that show. It is purely an M and B stuff - Arrogant man falls for loud mouthed yet clean hearted girl. The families and societal value system are thrown in to increase the saleability to an Indian audience.

Opti I m not saying its bad ..it is fun and entertaining but I m simply questioning the creativity of 4Lions team because of the high standards they hv set with GHSP ka first 8 months ...when I turn back and look into kurbaan hua or the dargah scene or even the light comedy office scenes in GHSP in first 7-8 months and then I look into the other show on star plus which is just few months old ,I begin to question is it the same team of Gul khan and Nissar Parvez and Vincent Franklin because these 3 gets the credit there 🤔

Anu, I doubt that GC and DD are the highest paid actors. These are just rumours. Shows get paid according to their trps because it is the sponsor's money which go to make the payment. Needless to say sponsors pay more to the main stream channels than channels which have lower reach. So they are in better position to pay their actors more. At least that is how I see it. GC-DD no doubt have explosive chemistry. I dont dispute that.As to changing the writer, all I can hope is good sense prevails and they do get a good writer.

Not really ..I feel Saathiya does hv an underlying message ..its actually shown a over conservative family but the mother in law cares more about her bahu's self-respect than anyone else more than his own son which is rarity and first time seen on Indian television ./.and I think thats what has actually managed trps for the show ...

Anu, BV is not basically a love story. It started off as a show about a social cause and although initially it seemed to glorify certain ills of the society, it has shown over time how an apparent problem can be overcome. I really like the present track where they are showing a strong Anandhi who inspite of being neglected by her husband and gone ahead with her life and is making herself useful to society. There was the Suguna track too where they showed the acceptance of another man's child by Suguna's husband. They let the baby be born unlike here and the bonding was cute, something I wish I could have seen in this show. The show portrays the ills of society but also comes up with how the characters overcome it. Unfortunately this show which started as one on women's empowerment has made a mockery of it. The only saving grace is Maaneet chemistry. That does not make it a great show. It has only got us all addicted to that chemistry and we are putting up with a lot of crap although we keep cribbing.This show could have learnt a thing or two from Gulaal where the female lead forgave the man who was responsible for her husband's death but there they showed the proper repentance of the man and he remained a bachelor for the rest of his life.
