If you think that bashing = valid criticism, then do not read further. I don't want to tackle with people who think i'm bashing the show. Maybe the criticism is harsh, but it is not invalid.

I'm making a post here after a really long while. It seems like a million years. And i bet this is my last post here. When i started watching this show, i couldn't have imagined it to end up like this. I wanted Dev to be punished severely. I wanted him and rapists like him out there to know that women are not powerless. They have dignity, self-confidence and can take on the effing world. And that people like him should be punished.

But now, it seems like that night between Dev&Geet (🤢) was just a convenient plot device? A rape was a convenient plot device? I didn't watch this show from the beginning to be completely ruined. Do you people have any idea how much this could affect the general public? You people are glorifying rapists! You people are showing to the general public that people like Dev can get away with basically... anything! What sort of a message are you people trying to deliver? That in the end, women don't matter? Marriage is a joke? This is personally very offensive to me and I will not stand by this crap.

Geet is no more a story of a young teenager who had suffered so much due to her family. Who had decided to live her life on her own terms and find justice. This is about how women in the end don't matter. AT ALL.

This is crap.

I Started watching the damn thing for the storryyy and now this shit is shown?🤬

Wat makes it worse is this is a REAL Story,every year 500 Girls are DITCHED At Punjab airport and the CV's threw that FOR TRP'S?🤬

Thank GOD you brought this topic up. Im severely disappointed in today's episode. W*F are CVs trying to show???The GHSP we once loved is lost somewhere. Everytime these new CVs come and ruin Maaneet's character.

First, when Geet forgave Dev!!tht was far tooo much and indigestable!. But in an interview the PH mentioned tht they didnt want any negative element and Geet to be called as the wife who took the son away from the family. Ok i understand that too. But W*F are CVS showing this Deveet interaction andtoo such a friendly one????????????????????????????????????🤢

The worst part is Geet is ready to get her sis married to her rapist???????????have CVs completely gone bonkers????why are they valuing rapists so much??????its sick🤢. Ok even if you leave this part...No sis would ever let her young cousin sis marry a guy whose had been married😕.

I was disgusted to see how they have changed Nando s charcater and given it a 360 degree turn. All at once she has started to act like Geet??????W*F???Why the hell CVs lOVEE to show every girl like Geet???tht copycat show Khusi acts the same and today Nando???????????????????????and why the hell is she acting like such a despooo????she wants him to propse her at tht instant and get secretly married in 4 days?????????????????where the hell are her ethics??????

Most of all why CVs are making a mockery of marriage and giving values and promoting Rape, abusing women...etc😡

That's a brave post, considering the climate here nowadays!

As I was telling a friend and fellow member today, Mathew Arnold, one of the greatest English essayist, said, art in any form, especially the written, should not only entertain but also educate.

In this, the cvs of Geet have failed miserably.

I don't know how many women actually watch this show but that is truly immaterial. What frightens me is that a channel who hails itself as a bastion for the youth should disgrace itself so severly and so dangerously.

And being women-centric, Indian Tv shows have a greater duty to support women folk in their endeavour to fight for their rights.

So, by showing that it's okay for a man to commit the most reprehensible deeds and not be blamed for them and, instead be supported by his victim to perpetuate practically the same crime on her own sister is beyond what is permitted in society.

I think the Geet team in its entirety has finallyshown utter disregard and disdain for its audience by their blatant lack of ethics in both legal and moral terms!

i might have started watching the show because of maaneet chemistry and romance, but what made me really stick to it for so long was geet's strength of character... today's episode made me sick... i'm gonna go back to doing what i did during the annie-arjun track - just watch maaneet scenes on youtube... i wanna forget about the existence of any other character in this show other that maan-geet...
