But W*F are CVS showing this Deveet interaction andtoo such a friendly one????????????????????????????????????🤢

The worst part is Geet is ready to get her sis married to her rapist???????????have CVs completely gone bonkers????why are they valuing rapists so much??????its sick🤢. Ok even if you leave this part...No sis would ever let her young cousin sis marry a guy whose had been married😕.

Red: If the creatives really did give this reason why Dev should be forgiven, then I hope, with all my heart, that they fail in every project they set out to do. This is just so offensive to me, as a woman. How can they give such a pathetic, stupid, disgusting, sexist excuse? I didn't know about this! If i did, I would have called up the human rights association or whatever. These people... god, it makes me sick!
Black: This makes me sick-er. Geet owes Nandini the truth! The truth that was her now HUSBAND slept with HER BHABI. Her BHABI carried her HUSBAND'S BABY. No woman would marry her sister off to a rapist.
The show is itself glorifying rapists!

You know what bothers me the most?

Time was when Geet walked out on the love of her life, and her only support, because she inferred that he was marrying her so that his brother could walk free. Romance, security, family all took a back seat to her quest for justice, despite her deep love for Maan.

What is the point now of that struggle, of that heart-wrenching separation, when the exact events she stood so strongly against have come to pass?

In a time when refreshing the raw emotions of past episodes are as simple as the click of a mouse, the writers and CVs have to be meticulous in their execution of such a plot. We are not going to forget any details easily. That being said, today was the culmination of an ongoing insult to self-respecting women, through underwritten characters and sweeping misrepresentation. It is truly sad to see what started as such a powerful story come to this.

The only acceptable conclusion would have been Dev going to and staying in jail but it's clearly far too late now.

As I was telling a friend and fellow member today, Mathew Arnold, one of the greatest English essayist, said, art in any form, especially the written, should not only entertain but also educate.

In this, the cvs of Geet have failed miserably.

I don't know how many women actually watch this show but that is truly immaterial. What frightens me is that a channel who hails itself as a bastion for the youth should disgrace itself so severly and so dangerously.

And being women-centric, Indian Tv shows have a greater duty to support women folk in their endeavour to fight for their rights.

So, by showing that it's okay for a man to commit the most reprehensible deeds and not be blamed for them and, instead be supported by his victim to perpetuate practically the same crime on her own sister is beyond what is permitted in society.

I think the Geet team in its entirety has finallyshown utter disregard and disdain for its audience by their blatant lack of ethics in both legal and moral terms!

That's me, I guess 🤣 My posts are usually 'brave'... Anyhow, i loved this post and agree with it. Geet has a lot of viewers. Maybe the TRPS might not be that high, but it does have a fair share of people who watch it and these type of shows directly influence our youth. What these people are trying to show is beyond my comprehension. The need for this is beyond my comprehension. What example are they setting for all those people out there
Imagine how must those women, who've actually been victims of honour-killing and who've suffered like Geet must feel if they watch this.
I'm disgusted.

Yea they DID say it dear. The PH was asked this ques and that why did you make Geet forgive Dev? and to which they replied this shit😡. Seriously NO one can ever firgive a rapist!!!!!!!and here the victim is helping her rapist to marry hher own sis???W*F??????????????

Egg-actly thats what i said yaar. They r giving values to abusive language, abusing woman and rapists are given importance while a sacred knot - marriage is turned into a comedy.

Hats off to CVs😡

Word. This is my main argument. Surely, this cannot have been a mere plot device? They can't have made Geet take such measures just for the fun of it?! What are these people doing?! *Bangs head on wall*

Oh, the countless threads i made for the baby 🤣 I wanted it so much, 😭 I fought for it so much. *sigh* I guess, in the end, it comes down to what the channel wants. What the idiotic, pathetic, %^&$% CVs want!
P.S, can anyone email this thread to starone or Mahesh whatever that b*d's name is? Please? I need the CVs to see this.

Cannot disagree with you a bit... The show has been showing crap... Yes i agree Geet did forgive Dev (that was super hard to digest) but whenever you look at him, how can you forget the past? How can you talk to him normally... Even today the moment i look at his face , I think of the day he left her in the airport with NT in his arms and left her...

How disgusting... I have made several posts related to this topic and got bashed. I love Maneet too but the story itself is becoming stupid... First of all anyone would not want her younger sister getting married to a divorcee.. People in India still have that mentality. Plus as a bonus he is her own rapist and her own GHUNEGAAR and yet she is ready and getting him married to her sister...

Disgusting
