ufff...i wanted to read through the whole thing...but just couldn't finish...though from the part that i did read i figured the rest must be just as sensible...i'm giving you the benefit of the doubt here😳...i think deap down in our little heart we all know you are right and share your opinion...but our character as a forum is too make noise and halla bol...so i think that the whole 'save geet' thing for many is just a way to keep with our character...let it not be said that we went down with out a fight😃

I had posted this when the news on reincarnation track came up.

"Regarding, Geet-ending rumor (or truth?), please stay away from bashing me. This is my opinion. I am personally against reincarnation. The magical love that Maan-Geet share has faced only hurdles right from the beginning. Ending this birth will only prove triumph of evil and defeat of truth and true love. The previous shows in starone such as DMG and MJHT could not garner the same TRP and enthu in their season 2 as compared to season 1. yes, we love Maaneet/Gurti. But anyways, a show has to end at some point of time. Then why not now when everything can be closed properly and happy ending can be shown? Kahin aisa na ho jaaye ki we end up getting bored with Mahi Mahi. How many of you honestly agree that we are not any more hooked up to the repeats and youtube to see the recent episodes again and again? Let us have sweet memories of the best show ever and the best pair ever. Let them come to us again in a new show."

Whether reincarnation or not, I am not for stretching the story with insensible tracks without even trying to explore so many potential storyline that this show offers. To me, this show got its biggest blow with the miscarriage followed by Dev's forgiveness. I am still hooked up to it for my undying devotion for Maaneet. But there is a limit to everything. Can the same people who are making topics on anniversary of first Maaneet scene, fisrt hug, kurban hua, Behne de, pee loon, where's the party tonight, Geet's entry into outhouse, kehna hi kya, make posts on anniversaries of Annie's entry, miscarriage, Dev's maafi, Amritsar entry, Balwant's entry, Laung da lashkaara? Just eyelocks and background score cannot carry a show on its shoulder. There has to be a strong storyline. But I guess we are among the very few in this forum who wants to relish and cherish the show for the sweetness it has offered and want it to end just the great manner it began.

All said and done, I think I would still not stop myself from watching GHSP for, I state once again, my undying love and devotion for the most beautiful creation in Indian television - MAANEET.

I only have one explanation for this post.. Nice post i have to agree.. But then i hope you understand that not everyone are the same robots God created.. Every single person born are unique and different.. Thats why human always have clashes, conflicts, wars, because of the differing opinions and ideologies of different people.. Likewise, people differ in the way they show their love towards anything.. In this case, many fans treat this show in a different way.. For some the story worked for them so they love the show.. For another group the lead pair worked for them so they love this show.. For some group, the individual actors are their favourites so they love this show.. I have no doubt on your loyalties to this show.. Im sure you love this show too.. But because you love this show and maaneet, you feel that the end will be best for them.. Now thats your way of showering love to the show you adore totally.. So whats wrong of people who fight for the show, when for this group of people are doing it also because they love the show? Does fighting for the show make their love any cheaper? Or does NOT fighting for the show make your love any lesser? No.. If not fighting for the show and letting it go was your way of showing love to the show and cast, then fighting for the show is others' way of showing love.. Neither of us are in wrong.. And we don need to prove whose love is better.. You can continue to want this show to end, in a better way.. And the rest can continue to halla bol for their favourite show to continue further.. Im sure you arent the only one who been want for this show to end.. There are many fans who want it too.. But even their agenda behind the end could vary from yours.. As much as you want a right to express your opinion, its always courteous to express it in a way you don hurt the sentiments of the majority.. And no i didnt say you don have a right.. You have every right.. But everyone else are also entitled to their own opinion as well.. So when others disagree with you strongly, it doesnt mean they are personally angry with you.. They could be hurt by your opinion.. When you want others to agree to your pov, you need to accept what others feel too.. If they think its right to fight through and save the show and the show has potential, you need to respect that.. I hope i made sense with my post.. Its not my intention to hurt anyone.. I just hope i put my sincere opinion forward.. Whether you want to agree or disagree, its up to you.. Anyways it is indeed a good post and whatever i wrote above doesnt mean i disagree totally.. I know deep down what you said is true.. But im a heart ruler.. Im sure the majority here are heart rulers.. My brain accepts what you say.. But my heart refuses to let go.. Well, maybe not now.. But after a year or so, when one day geet has to end, maybe ill let it go..
