so many pages ... its so strange how people accuse you of not advicing you not to tell them what they are supposed to be doing while they themselves are condemning you for merely stating an opinion...

will the show end if you say shut it?
will it continue just cos some people want it?

if things that happen the way we want on the show, does the channel become the fans spokesperson ?

when a track doesnt work do the makers blame the audience for not being smart enough for having not understanding a track?

then why does a bunch of people thinking a certain way always have to be the right opinion ...

if majority of india was corrupt was Anna wrong is fighting against it?

there are always two kinds of people, one that flow in with the tide and the rest that go against it ... who are we to judge which one is the better ???

on a free forum, people get a right to make posts on whatever they want, but no one gets to call anyone names !!!

I promise you, if you were to contest elections, the number of votes you would get would prove what you and your views mean, you dont need a web portal to establish that !!

bring it on! we need these write ups every now and then !! cos if you dont write, popular opnion would often get misconstrued as right opinion !! you dont know how green the grass is until you get to the other side .. but who wants to climb anyway when you get scanned snap shots on ur mail box and you just make do with them to decide the color being green, purpule or lapiz lazuli

I respect your views . You have every right to diss the show if it's not going well or shower praises on it if you like it . That said , posts that 'advice' or 'tell' or advocate others to do something make me feel uncomfortable so I don't know how I feel about this . Just saying ...

What is crap for you may be a masterpiece for others ! Just like when you were enjoying the show there were people who got bored and quit and just like how a lot of us may get really tired of the show but there will still be a large ^no of people hanging on to it till the very end , for whatever reasons ! So whether it's worth saving the show or not is purely subjective !

I'm still enjoying the show .Maaneet scenes still give me goosebumps ^no natter how cliched they are and this is one of the reasons why 'I' do not want to let go. Cannot speak for the others here.

When I eventually get bored of the show ( presuming it's staying for a few more months ) and decide to move on , I will do so ...but without dragging others along or asking them to hang on it . Their choice , their prerogative .

As for the stars , crew etc ... I'm sure they know what's best for them ! If the actors think theyr getting the raw end of the deal by staying in the show , they will move on . If the PH feels the project is not worth saving , they will end it . I'm just a fan and it is well within my rights to try and save it . And if the PH does extend the show , it's not going to be a favor on us but simply because they will have their own reasons to do so .

Bri, I get what you are trying to say here but after watching worst shows dragged with no story and only jazz, like the previous StarOne shows, I came to a point where I had stopped watching them and did not care whether they were running or not. Its existence didn't make any difference to me. When the repeats are being shown now in the same channel, I cherish watching the old episodes. So if one feels that the charm is gone, one can often tune to yt or repeats.. but GEET still has a huge fan-following and many of them who started watching the show from Amritsar track went back to watch the old episodes! Asking for the show to end on a high note is right but not letting the viewers express their displeasure is not plausible.

Also, no one is pressurizing the channel or the actors to forsake their growth for the show.. GC has done a film I believe, participated in one reality show exhibiting his martial skills, DD is also seen doing a guest appearance in other shows so its not that anyone is being held at a gun-point to continue the show.

Ofcourse, a day will come when we have to bid the show adieu but not due to reasons like channel revamp or PH disinterest.. there are many people working behind the screen and if it has to happen it will happen.

If fans had so much power in hands that they could make the inevitable by hallabols and petitions, no show would ever end. 😊

Just because a person is going to die doesn't mean he will stop having medicines or keep the hopes of survival. His dear ones will keep asking the doctor to try till the very end. I dont think its wrong on the fans' POV likewise. 😊
