From my own personal experience of another show I can tell this. If a show is forced to continue because of fan pressure, they are bound to ruin it beyond recognition so that they can wind it up without a whimper from the fans. Whether a show should continue or not should depend on the decision of both the PH and the channel. Unless the two whole-heartedly support this decision only disaster awaits the show. The show was at its peak when the cast and crew gave it their all. It started to slide when cracks emerged within the crew and between the PH and the channel. Frequent changes in the thinking and executing wings of the PH have led to inconsistent characterisations and storylines. Things can only get worse if the PH is reluctantly made to continue the show. So what do we want to see at the end of the day? Our glorious show reduced to dust? Is it not better to have fond memories of it than sad ones of an impending ruin? There is no use blaming the PH or the channel for this mess. At the end of the day it is the end product that matters. So as discerning customers why should we put up with any sub standard product just to see Maaneet, especially if they are going to be reduced to shadows of what they were?

EDIT: When you can have 20 posts about Maan's sexy body or Geet's silky mane and NONE of these are closed with the note that they are repetitive, why is a POST that ADVOCATES PEACE AND FREEDOM of SPEECH and EXPRESSION SCUTTLED when the post is NOT ABOUT THE SHOW ENDING BUT IS ABOUT giving each one freedom to air their opinions.

Nihu i think i have said enough at the other post.. To bDgT, i remember that you had sentiments over the show and cast, which was why you wanted it to end.. So i don get why you need to tell people to stop fighting for the show just because the Ph and channel are human being and they too have family and so on.. So whats your exact intention on why geet should end? Yes true everyone should have the right to say what they want.. When you are making a point, you cant expect all to accept it.. I respect your pov, so pls do respect others' pov as well.. I think im just repeating myself.. Go to the other post by bDgT and then you can see my whole point.. I have no intention to stop both of you from expressing your pov.. But pls do see to how you reply to others.. It can hurt people unknowingly.. Neither you are wrong in expressing nor is everyone else in telling their pov.. We can misunderstand you, thats not our fault because again we have different mindsets and ways to grasp an opinion.. I just hope you could be a little polite with your replies to people.. I hope i was polite.. Thank you..
I only have one explanation for this post.. Nice post i have to agree.. But then i hope you understand that not everyone are the same robots God created.. Every single person born are unique and different.. Thats why human always have clashes, conflicts, wars, because of the differing opinions and ideologies of different people.. Likewise, people differ in the way they show their love towards anything.. In this case, many fans treat this show in a different way.. For some the story worked for them so they love the show.. For another group the lead pair worked for them so they love this show.. For some group, the individual actors are their favourites so they love this show.. I have no doubt on your loyalties to this show.. Im sure you love this show too.. But because you love this show and maaneet, you feel that the end will be best for them.. Now thats your way of showering love to the show you adore totally.. So whats wrong of people who fight for the show, when for this group of people are doing it also because they love the show? Does fighting for the show make their love any cheaper? Or does NOT fighting for the show make your love any lesser? No.. If not fighting for the show and letting it go was your way of showing love to the show and cast, then fighting for the show is others' way of showing love.. Neither of us are in wrong.. And we don need to prove whose love is better.. You can continue to want this show to end, in a better way.. And the rest can continue to halla bol for their favourite show to continue further.. Im sure you arent the only one who been want for this show to end.. There are many fans who want it too.. But even their agenda behind the end could vary from yours.. As much as you want a right to express your opinion, its always courteous to express it in a way you don hurt the sentiments of the majority.. And no i didnt say you don have a right.. You have every right.. But everyone else are also entitled to their own opinion as well.. So when others disagree with you strongly, it doesnt mean they are personally angry with you.. They could be hurt by your opinion.. When you want others to agree to your pov, you need to accept what others feel too.. If they think its right to fight through and save the show and the show has potential, you need to respect that.. I hope i made sense with my post.. Its not my intention to hurt anyone.. I just hope i put my sincere opinion forward.. Whether you want to agree or disagree, its up to you.. Anyways it is indeed a good post and whatever i wrote above doesnt mean i disagree totally.. I know deep down what you said is true.. But im a heart ruler.. Im sure the majority here are heart rulers.. My brain accepts what you say.. But my heart refuses to let go.. Well, maybe not now.. But after a year or so, when one day geet has to end, maybe ill let it go..
I bow down in gratitude to all those who supported this post with their rational and objective viewpoints and understood the reasoning behind it. It takes courage to stand up for an unpopular cause or not-so popular POV. It is you people who made this show be at its best and took it to it's peak. This is LOVE that is all about freedom of choice and freedom to let go - Thank you from the bottom of my heart friends. - sorry for not replying to each one of you individually.
