Drashti Dhami as Geet
Drashti Dhami plays the happy-go-lucky Geet. The story opens when she is 21 years old. Her character is educated, pretty and warm. She is the apple of the eye of her family, and lives a very over-protected life in the small town of Punjab. She goes from being cheated by an already-married Dev to being rescued by Maan, Dev's righteous brother. She finally stumbles upon love, responsibility and stability, as she goes through the journey of life, at times trying and at times joyous.
Ok I assume you know what I am talking about.
If not, it's this line, "The story opens when she is 21 years old."

So Geet is 21 now? I am so confused. It would make a lot more sense if she was 21, given that Lucky and Nandini, both of whom are supposedly of marriage and PhD age, respectively, call her didi. But hasn't she actually said on the show that she is 18?

Have you every had the experience where you are dreaming at night and in your dream the situation changes drastically, like one minute you are sitting in class and the next minute you are a talking fish swimming in the ocean, but it makes perfect sense in the dream? It only occurs to you that that didn't make sense at all after you wake up.
Sometimes, that is how watching Geet makes me feel. It makes perfect sense when I am there, in the moment and then I switch off the TV and go, "wait a minute, that can't be right!" (this most recently happened when she said her and Maan's relationship went back 1.5 years, which would imply that she was pregnant for at least a year, with no baby bump 😆)
So even though she has said on the show that she is 18, I am going to assume from this point on that she is 21, because then a lot of other things would start to make more sense.
Ok, you can just tell me I'm crazy. 😛
