Maaneet are a couple HAWT
Devini are a couple we digest cannot
Maaneet ke eye-locks the kamaal ke
Devini ne wahi kiya toh tha jaise tamatar sade
Maaneet ka dhaba episode tha stupendous
Devini ne wahi kiya toh dhika horandous
CV's, Kitne aur aise scenes dhekne padange hame before ur creativity wakes up
Kya kahu ab other than - "till ur creativity starts working CHUP, BILKUL CHUP"
Here are 2 multiple choice questions -
1. No-Re-*sigh*-cling
Well, Maaneet scenes are pure and we love them to bits. I for one cannot even contemplate the idea that the CV's are trying some classic Maaneet scenes with this new current useless couple. Since we know they have completely left behind their brains at home, I thought we could come up with some funny scenarios for Devini.(since they seem to want comedy in every aspect of the show these days). So, if CV's were to consider some of our ideas, which scenario would you suggest in this category -
a. Teji noticing Dev trying to get close to Nandini and taking out all his bhadas against the Khuranas against Dev. Teji ka talwar agar kho gaya hai toh hum Daaku ka lend kar sakte hai for him to use.
b. Nandini being friendly with Dev but when she figures out his intentions gives him 2 kaan ke neeche and asks him to find his way out.
c. Devini are all set to tie the knot when they are stopped by cops (Pakka filmy istyle since the CV's seem to like these). When asked why, NT walks from behind telling them that she is more than willing to explain
d. Daman is actually a good guy and Nandini happily marries him.
e. Geet's "babaji" comes in her dreams and gives her 2 tappads telling her that is he knew she would act like this, he would never let Maan enter her life, and that the way for her to correct all her mistakes is to save Nandini's life from Dev's hands.
2. Recycling with a twist
So, irrespective of what we want or what not, we know the CV's are attempting a lot of Maaneet scenes on Devini. Kya kare... Maaneet ke saath sab kuch try kar liya hai na, ab toh sab kuch repeat hi lagega. Toh, why not have some fun and consider scenes with some of the same concepts with twists? If CV's were to consider some of our ideas, which scenario would you suggest -
a. Repeat of Kurbaan Hua (Or the likes) with Dev trying to life Nandini and falling down breaking his and Nandini's bones đł
b. Kehna hai Kya (Or the likes) with Dev going shirtless and Nandini making fun of his body instead of getting impressed đ
c. Devini in a car accident which kills Dev đ
d. RTM (Or the likes) with Dev not being able to carry Nandini till a shelter and Nandini having to support a fainting Dev đĄ
e. KBM sequence where this time Naintara successfully manages to drop Nandini down (maybe on Dev who is standing below thus killing them both) âď¸
* Note - I am not including the darga and tent scenes of Maaneet because they are tooo pure to even consider.
Tell me your answers and feel free to share more funny options in either categories. The more the merrier.
PS - I expect all of you to answer the questions and come up with atleast one more scenario to the list. Come on guys, Devini need all our support.
Episode Analysis
Hummm, a good episode with some really powerful performances.
Lucky and Beeji were both very good today in the beginning scene. Although I don;t know why Beeji always has a very constipated face, she was good in her portrayal of anger today. In her anger she accused Lucky of having let her down, having brought about shame on the family. I have always believed that not reacting to someone's anger is a great virtue to possess. I loved how MSk being MSK stood quiet during Beeji's anger. Even when he attempted to explain the situation and was stopped by Beeji, he remained silent instead of continuing the argument. Beeji was wrong, but she was also the elder one and the more angrier one. It was best to just let it be...
The way Lucky handled his mother's anger surprised me. Well, ofcourse, because of the spoilers and the precap yesterday, we all knew Lucky would go with Maan. But the way he spoke his dialogues were very appreciable today. The way he started with explaining to her that he did what he did for the sake of his love and that he believed he had only reinstated Beeji's honor by winning the fight was indeed very touching. His acting today seemed very genuine and refreshing. When Beeji continued to accuse him of a crime that he clearly did not commit, instead of fighting or arguing with her, he decided it would be best to walk away from there. That was very respectful and apt. And he portrayed it very well.
I don't know about Nandini, but I love how Pammi is voicing her opinion these days. The one thing that ha worked in Pamm's favor in all this is that because of this new Maaneet problem Beeji and Teji have not time to illtreat her (I know, a bad joke). But if not for herself, Pammi has always voiced her opinion in favor of Maan and Geet. I hope she starts talking for herself too, and pretty soon.
Today I liked Jugnu maama also. Although he rants against Lukcy to Beeji most of the time, he is so in love with his nephew. He was willing to walk out of Beeji's house just because Lukcy had gone away. I thought that was sweet. And his lines today were not the normal repeat stuff. They were enjoyable.
Geet's sarcastic appreciation of Lucky's achievements was done very well. Needless to say, she is a brilliant actress and it comes as no surprise that she can add a life t anything she is asked to portray. And today was no exception. Her passing on a meessage to Lucky that being good in just one role is not enough and that he should be a good son and a good boyfriend/husband was very well done. Waise, here, all i could think of was "Pot calls the kettle black". But, she was very good in this scene. And Maan's expressions to show that he very clearly understood the meaning in Geet's taunts was also very well portrayed by him. Brilliant job.
Now, Pot calls the kettle black. Just like Geet thinks that Lucky should be a good son and a good byfriend at the same time, why cannot she understand that she should be a good wife and a good daughter at the same time. I don't understand why she has to compromise on one to be the other. I really did not understand her dislogue "Iss jaman mein aap beti ko hi jeetne denge, haina Maan" (or something like that) dialogue. What did she mean? She wants to solve the problems and misunderstanding in Beeji's house. So she requested Maan for sometime to set everything right. So how has she compromised her role of a wife now? Or why does she even think that it is necessary? Well, if it is because she is not with Maan at the moment, then Maan totally understands the reason. It is not like she is doing it against his wishes or support... well, I suppose I should just let it be.
So tomorrow we get a sensuous "Woh Hai zara khafaa khafaa". Well, I am all set to watch it. Bring it on âşď¸
BTW, I am missing Lacchi and Adi. Bring them in too. These 2 are really good.
