Ok channel hv got SS for lots of money and obviously they hv asked the PH to give him a good role in the show but then its upto the PH and CVs how they will use SS in the show na🤔...So here their creativity comes in the picture and they hv failed there

Jyoti, yes, it is clear that they have to pay good money to get good actors like SS. But the question is - at the time of drawing out the contract don't they have an idea of what the character is supposed to do?

If retaining SS is the deciding factor, they could have

either gone the justice route and got Dev-Nainatara behind bars and ended with Maan-Geet marriage and called it season-1. Then they could have started season-2 with a 2-3 year leap - had Dev-Nainatara serve time, Geet finish her education in that time. They could have just used one episode to give us the status and let us know where we are in the story. Then, they could have continued Maaneet romance, introduced Geet's new family - maybe she could have hooked up with her cousin Lucky or Nandini at college... something like that. After that, if they showed a truly repentant Dev (who served his time) falling for Nandini, we could have accepted it. we would have accepted Maaneet forgiving Dev too.
Or if leap is not acceptable, they could have introduced SS as Vicky. They could have just made up a one-liner between dadima and Vicky to let us know Dev was in prison - no need to sign up a new actor for Dev's role. We would not have had any issues with going along with the story then. Vicky-Nandini would not have been a problem.

An- I feel that show is picking up slowly albeit cliched moments. 😆 The first episode even had me disappointed. 😊

Usha- Same reasons for me too for loving this show. 😊 And a friend had rightly predicted that after the main pregnancy issue is dealt with, this show will have nothing to offer conceptual wise. She was right. 😊

@Aaryana...i'm not able to connect bcoz they are far from what they were originally...i know as the story progresses, there'll be character growth...but here you can't make out of what Geet is trying to portray...these days, the little time she comes onscreen, she either makes faces at MSK or pushes/hits him...each and every episode it is left to the viewers to assume what the characters are thinking...there is no proper conversation between the leads...

me not very good in expressing...hope you are able to understand what i'm trying to say...

Shreya : I do not touch her shows and promos were charming, then the first episode made me feel like banging my head 😆😆😆 Not watching it again till accidental watching ... 😆😆😆

Jyoti, even if they made the blunder of getting SS in as Dev, we suggested a remedy for it, right? We wanted Dev to disappear and SS come back as Vicky - Dev's twin - not even looking for any logic here - just trying damage control 😆. And SS could have had a parallel lead role as Vicky and we would all be rooting for him!
