Bad news travels quickly and when it does we have to find a way to deal with it. If our husbands tell us they have moved on we look for projects to distract us. If we learn a secret to terrible to share we learn to keep it to ourselves but we must remember that bad news can sometimes be good in disguise

Maan stood outside the ward with Pari and Yash pacing up and down. He was really anxious scared and worred. He just could not believe what had just happened. The girl he loved, the girl who loved him back went through so much just because of his own flesh and blood Dev Khurana.

Maan POV

I can't believe this. In one day I receive good news and then bad news. The worst news I have ever got. Dev. I always thought that he was never serious with life. He was a money waster. Him and his parties and late nights. Never took any interest in the business or anything. Loved to live the high life of the social elite. He even married Naintara. A girl who I despised from the very first sight. But then what could I do my brother was in love with this woman. I for one did not want to stand in there way. But there was another reason why I could not trust Naintara, she was a friend of Sameera. But Dev assured me that Naintara had nothing to do with Sameera. She assured me that Sameera was out of there lives. I didn't trust her but for my brother's happiness I succumbed to his wishes. Then came that time for naintara high living, Dev gambled so much money that I stop his credit and kicked him out of the house. He had credits to pay as well. Debts. I decided not to help him. Told him to climb on his own feet. And so he did. By playing with Geet's life. My Geet. How dare he do this to her? But Dev wouldn't do this on his own. He was not smart enough. That's it. It was Naintara. Naintara must have thought of the plan. Both are as much guilty as eachother.

Then I thought about my Geet. The hardships she faced. I remember how her family used to shut her up. that day she was locked in the room. Her brother. After being duped by Dev she still managed to live life. She even ran away for her child. A mother loves her child more than anything. I understood that now. Why Geet went against her family. To save her child. No Geet you were not wrong. You never were. If anyone was wrong it was us. Me, your family, and your culprits. I still remember the first few days with Geet in the office how she used to be happy and always smile and try to put the past behind her. Everyday with a smile at her face. She is one courageous woman. I Love her. For me, she put her feelings aside. But I caught it in her eyes. I wanted her to trust me and when she told me her deep dark secret I never listened. Geet I will always be by your side no matter what. I Love you.

The doctor's voice broke him out his thoughts. Maan turned to face him

'who is Maan down here?'

'I am'

'The patient is hyper in her sub conscious state she keeps calling your name out, I guess we need you'

Pari and Yash got up and followed Maan into the ward. They could here Geet mumering

'Maan I love you please don't leave me' She kept on mummering ' He is here, the one who ruined my life is here. Maan please save me my brother is going to kill me' Maan understood that seeing Dev had brought back the past events of her life. He had to calm her down.

'Geet I'm always here with you I'll punish the person who caused you harm. I will always protect you. I Love you Geet. And I love your baby'

'my baby my baby my baby. Maan save my baby. Dev might take my baby' Geet mummered. She awoke all of a sudden and hugged him tight.

'Maan my baby,' She cried. Pari and Yash rushed to Geet. Geet cried as Maan consoled her.

The doctor came as well. Geet then let go of Maan. Her past with Maan came back before her eyes.

'Maan' She whispered. 'are you really here?' she asked.

'yes Geet I'm sorry for everything I'm sorry for never beliving you. I Love you Geet' He said with tears dropping out of his eyes. Geet could not see his tears and wiped it.

'Sorry to cut this reunion short, but I have to conduct the tests' The doctor said.

Maan Pari and Yash left the room. There was silence in between them neither of them knew what to say. The fact that Dev is Maan's brother has been hidden from Geet.

'Maan' Pari began 'what do we do now?'

'Geet can't take anymore shocks, Her baby's life and her own depends on her being happy' Yash said.

'Geet does not know Dev is your brother' Pari said

'Pari, Yash do you trust me?' Maan asked.

'Maan I want to trust you but..' Pari began

'But the issue with Dev, and me breaking Geet's heart is your issue. Then Pari you know that I always support the truth. True Dev is my brother. But today he is wrong. Therefore, I will take Geet's side. She does not need this tension. I will personally get Dev and Naintara punished for there deeds. You don't worry about that. But Yash, Geet takes you as her brother right' Maan asked facing Yash

'Yes Maan but' Yash began

'Yash I ask for your sister Geet's hand in marriage'

Yash and Pari were so happy. They accepted. Pari and yash what did they want except Geet's happiness which lies with Maan. Pari cried laughed and hugged Maan. Maan laughed at her antics.

'your still a child Pari. Good luck Yash' Maan said. Pari pouted. But her best friend was getting her happiness what else could be more happy.

'But when do we tell Geet the truth. It would be like keeping her in the dark' yash asked who was concerned

'Sometimes , for good reasons, we do bad things and today we have to keep the secret for Geet's sake agreed' asked Maan.

The doctor came out and told them that Geet was asleep. Maan agreed to stay the night but Pari and Yash decided they would stay to. But then Pinky and Adi also came over. They were shocked to see Maan there. But after the talk they all reconciled and now Adi and Pinky were in the pact of the secret. For Geet's happiness and life. Pari and Yash were told to go home, whlist Adi and Pinky remained with Maan. Maan instructed Adi what to do about Dev and it must be done secretely.

MEANWHILE

Dev angered and furious upset and guilty could not believe what had happened. The girl who he had broken he saw today. He made her pregnant. Wait did Naintara know? Dev ran into Naintara house and screamed for her

'NAINTARA!'

She came out happy finally her husband had returned to her. She only just came back from Canada yesterday.

'Omg Dev, I'm so happy to see you' She said. Dev eyes were burning in fury.

'I found Geet' He said. Naintara's face fell. 'is there something you forgot to mention' he asked.

'nothing Dev, why were you looking for Geet. I told you get over her. Its just me and you.'

'NO its not. Its Me Geet and our baby. You hid her pregnancy from me'

'yes I did. If I told you , you would go back running to her wouldn't you for you baby'

'yes and now Naintara, I am leaving you forever. I will now take on my responsibilities and take care of my child and Geet' He said fuming and was about to leave when Naintara stopped him

'I'm pregnant'

Naintara was fuming. Her husband wants to leave her for that Geet.

Dev stopped in his tracks. He looked at Naintara.

'Here I knew you would never believe me if I told you straight. Here the proof'

'Two months pregnant'

'that's why I returned. For me, for you for us our baby Dev' She said hugging him. Deev. He hugged her back and then pulled her hair

'you think I'm stupid, I knew you would have called someone and would do something like this Fake report. Wow Naintara'

'DEV'

'Don't' Dev said as he left. Naintara was fuming. She knew that for her husband she had to make sure of one thing. That Geet and her child dies. This will be her new project. Because of Geet, Dev did not believe that she was pregnant.

'Geet this is all your fault and I will never let you win my husband never'

Dev returned home. Maan was not there. But he wanted to take on his responsibilities. He decided to wait for Maan and talk to him. He had first called a lawyer to send divorce papers to Naintara.

Meanwhile, Geet had woken up. She wondered what she saw today was a dream or not but when she saw Maan infront of her she smiled. He was asleep. Geet wanted some water but it was beyond her reach. She got up and stood on her feet. She felt faint but then when she was about to walk she felt herself being lifted in the air. Maan was there beside her.

'are you stupid Geet? What do you think your trying to do?' He asked in his MSK tone.

'Wo I wanted water' Geet whimpered.

'so you could have asked me. Why don't you ever listen. Always put yourself in trouble. Do you know how much it pains me to see you in pain. Do you not know how much I love you' Maan said pouring out the water. Geet was shocked and looked at him. Maan looked at her too. He didn't realise what he had said and realised when he looked at her.

'Yes Geet I love you. I always have and will. I know everything' Geet looked down.

'No Geet don't be ashamed. After knowing your truth, I have started loving you even more. The truth in your eyes. The strength that you had. Geet, I want to ask you something'

'Maan, I don't want to be a burden ..' Geet began to say

'Shut up Geet. Now I know its not the time or space, but Geet Handa, the crazy girl who messed up my office and then my life. The one who brought a smile to my face with her silly antics. The one who loved to talk to Babaji. The strongest and most beautiful woman I know. I love you so much. Will you marry this Dusht Danav of yours and let him be yours forever. Let him be the father of the child that you are holding within you.. Geet will you marry me?' asked Maan with a ring in his hand which Pari had brought for Geet for her birthday which was in in 20 minutes. but it had a better motive here.

Geet had tears in her eyes and didn't know what to say. Her happiness knew no bounds. She was ecstatic. She pulled her hand out and nodded yes. Maan put the ring on when he saw rose petals streamers being thrown on them. Geet and Maan looked to the left and saw Pari Adi Yash and Pinky laughing and throwing things at them. Everyone hugged eachother. 10 minutes had passed, and then Pari left the room and entered whlist Maan had covered her eyes. He let go of them after 10 minutes. Geet saw the ward covered in balloons streamers.

'Happy Birthday Geet' Everyone yelled. The doctor came in with two nurses. Luckily no one was on this floor as Maan had booked it exclusively for Geet. They all sang her the song and wished her. Geet cut the cake and fed Maan and the others. It was the best birthday ever.

'I Love you Maan'

'I Love you Geet'

'Ow' Geet said. Maan quickly got worried and put his arms around Geet.

'what happened Geet'

'Your baby kicked me MAan' Maan smiled when Geet said his baby.

'Well my baby is going to be my footballer. I Love you baby' The baby kicked again. Maan then put his hand on Geet stomach.

'its not kicking'

'say you love me'

'I love you Geet' The baby kicked.

'So the baby kicks when I saw I love you Geet, hmm I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU' Maan said. Geet laughed.

Outside the door one person was watching there everymove. She had anger in her eyes .

'No Geet you are not destined to get this love nor baby nor life. Very soon I promise you that you will lose this life. Its Naintara's Rathods' Promise. She left the building.

Afterwards Dev came, after finding out that Maan was in the hospital. He saw that Geet was the person Maan loved. He had lost the chance to call his baby his own. he now lost Geet and his brother.

PRECAP: Dev gets arrested. Naintara to harm Geet. Dadima told the truth.
