'Adi Sir you think Geet will be alright?' asked Pinky munching on a burger whlist following Adi with a few files which he needed to tend on. They both entered his office and Pinky put the files down on the table. Adi turned to look at her and put his hand on her shoulder and said to her

'Geet is a strong girl, after facing so many storms in her life, she is still willing to fight. I'm sure our Geet will emerge a winner' Adi said smiling, remembering all the tough times she had at KC and Sasha and still overturned them. Pinky was about to say something when a click of heels turned there attention to Sasha.

'Hello Adi, oh Pinky, whats going on here' Pinky felt rage inside she wanted to slap Sasha, after all the hard goings in Geet's life there was Sasha on top.

'Sasha there is nothing going on here, so if you mind can we please get back to work' said Adi as calm as he can be without stuttering. Sasha was shocked to hear the tone of Adi. She was about to retalliate when Tasha informed her of a important phonecall. She left abruptly. Pinky turned to Adi and hugged him. Adi was shocked by her sudden outburst but he put an arm on her back. He always cared for Pinky, found a friend and comfort in her.

'Adi, Geet was my best friend and sister since we were children. I hope she is fine' Adi put an arm around her shoulder and said to Pinky I'm sure.

Meanwhile Geet was still unconciouss. The man picked her up and brought her to his home. A doctor was called and explained to the man to take care of her as she is weak and pregnant. The man was a bit shocked but seeing her innocent face, he knew somehow something had happened in her life. Her face told him he could trust her. He was just about to exit the room when his neice and nephew came running to him.

'Chachuuu'

'Neal, Nikki' don't shout we have a guest and she is sleeping' There chachu repremanded them.

The kids were excited and they ran to Geet's room and sat with her when she opened her eyes.

'Chachu Didi is awake' The man walked in. Geet was confused she tried to sit up. The man rushed to her

'Please rest, don't exert yourself its not good for your health or your baby's'He said sorting the pillows behind her. Geet was shocked. Here a stranger is helping her without making any second thoughts about her pregnancy. He smiled and grabbed a chair and sat next to her

'Neal, Nikki, go and get that tray of food in the kitchen for your didi' Both of the kids rushed towards the door

'Don't drop it' He ordered.

'Hi I'm Yash Malhotra' Geet looked at him confused. She was still silent shocked and scared.

'Please don't be scared, seriously don't don't you have a name'

'Geet'

'Geet sweet name' He smiled.

'How did i get here?' She asked.

'Well Geet ji, You fainted when walking and i grabbed you and brought you here. You shouldnt be exhausting yourself like this in this condition' He said warmly. Geet looked down.

'Look I don't know why but i feel like something very wrong has happened to you'

'what makes you say that?' asked Geet who looked up automatically.

'Pretty young girl, with a suitcase, eyes full of pain, walking around lost all these point out to me' Yash said.

'I...urm i have to leave' Geet said getting up

'and go where' asked Yash. Geet looked at him.

'I told you, You can trust me,'. Geet didn't know why but she felt like this man she could trust and tell him anything. He was a simple full of life man. So Geet sat down and told him her story. In the end he was in tears. He felt crushed by the emotions and pain in her voice.

'I'm sorry i shouldn't be a burden on you' Geet said getting up getting ready to leave.

'Geet ji,' Geet turned to look at him. He smiled and said to her

'Friends?' Geet turned to him. He smiled at her and the kids came in

'Chachu yeh kya chakkar hai' Geet smiled at the kids.

'Chup Badmash'

'So Geet friends, people say i'm a very good friend' Geet smiled at his remark and said

'yes but i don't want to be a burden, i mean staying here'

'Look Geet ji'

'Geet since we are friends'

'Geet, your not a burden actually i'm now technically your boss'

'huh what'

'Well Geet, you said you worked in KC right as Maan's secretary right. Well you can work with me in my company as my secretary and then then part time nanny for these kids'

'yes didi we will have so much fun when chachu is not here' neal said

'say yes' said Nikki. Geet smiled and said

'Okay'

'By the way incase your wondering if i will fall in love with you i won't because'

'Chachu is engaged.. to Pari chachii..'

'Pari' The name rang in Geet's head. Pari the girl who knew about hers and Maan's love.

'yeah and she is a real sweeheart. Speaking of which i need to collect her tommorow and have a meeting right now, so Geet welcome on board and your duty starts now, take care of these terrors'Yash said. He smiled and left.

Geet looked up and said Thank you babaji for a new beginning. Thank you for a new friend and a new job and life.

'So kids what do you want to eat?' Geet asked.

'Didi, you eat first look how pale you look' Nikki said. Geet smiled. As Nikki fed her. The whole day Geet spent with the kids laughing playing becoming a child herself. Geet was playing with the kids a boardgame. Yash stood at the doorway and looked at them and thought how could such an awful thing happen to a simple innocent girl. and on top of that, her love didn't trust her. I promise to help her always. I salute her. Moving on. Well done Geet. I promise I will always be here for you as a friend.

Maan went home and looked in the outhouse for any trace of Geet. He looked for Adi and Pinky, but they were not around. It seemed like they were avoiding him. He then returned to the office when he saw Pinky and Adi walking out. He wanted to talk to them and was about to enter Adi's office when his phone rang. Maan stood outside and heard the conversation

'Pinky it's Geet'

'Hello Geet where are you? How are you? why did it take so long to call? Did you not know how worried we were.? i mean Geet we are your friends' Pinky said.

Geet told them the days events.

'Geet I'm really happy for you. Aww really thats great. Thats hilarious naming them neal and nikki like the movie'

'Pinky let me talk please' Adi said.'Geet how are you? Good Geet. I will pray for your success. I'm glad your okay. After what you been through in life. By the way Geet have you seen a doctor. Good. take care and keep in touch okay or else don't know about me but Pinky will definately kill you'

Geet then asked a question which she could not hold back.

'Adi Sir, How is he?' Geet asked holding the phone tight to her ears. clutching her dupata with her other hand. Adi and Pinky's faces fell.

'Well Geet if your asking phycially, he is fine. But He is still in pain Geet. He misses you i can see that' Geet was in tears.

'Okay Adi sir bye' Geet said not witholding her tears and pain she put the phone down. Maan then walked in and saw Adi and Pinky. He walked up to adi and

'Where is Geet?' Adi looked at him and didn't say anything. he turned to Pinky

'where is she godamnit'

'why, so you can give her more pain. Hasn't life and you already done that' Pinky asked gaining courage. Maan looked at Pinky and so he deserved that.

'please Pinky i need to talk to her'

'Sir, I'm sorry but we don't know where Geet is. and she made us promise never to say anything' Pinky said.

Maan walked back dejectidly

'Do you know about her past?' asked Maan. adi and pinky looked at eachother.

'Yes, and Sir you were wrong in judging her. She is much stronger than all of us even you. And she is still fighting the world and even after you broke her she picked herself up' Maan looked down he was in pain.

'What happened to her Adi?' asked Maan. Adi looked at Maan in pain. He wanted to tell him

'I'm sorry Sir Geet gave her kasam never to tell you. She said that you had lost the right when you chose not to listen to her.'

Maan face fell. The look of pain was evident. He turned to leave when he turned around when he reached the door

'Is she alright?' He asked. Pinky heart lept out

'She is fine and happy' Pinky said.

We may think we left the past behind, but it has a way of catching up to us, Though we want to run away we are forced to confront our past and the secret that it buried must into the light. And if we are strong we are able to move on. Yes we all need to leave the past behind and move into the future and if we are lucky we will have help getting there.

We past by these people everyday but we dont look at them we dont want to see the sadness in there expression the longing in there hurts the lonliness in there eyes. But we should stop and look at these isolated people. If we look close enough we might just recongise them. ---YES DEV SEES GEET!

3 weeks had passed. Pari flight had been postponed due to an illness in her family. Geet had got settled in her life with Yash and the kids. She was happy. But her eyes reflected pain. She tried to hide it from Yash but he knew he saw the pain. They had become great friends. Having fun taking care of eachother and the kids. Geet used to love teasing him about Pari and how she will make him dance to his tunes. But Still Geet had a worry if it was the same Pari that she met. Yash never showed her a picture only said once you see her then you will be gobsmacked.

It was Raksha bandhan. Geet was in her room missing her family her younger brother Tito. She remembered how she used to tie a rakhi on his arm. Even to a little extent she remembered Brij. But for him Raksha Bandan was a bit of a formality. She smiled when she saw Nikki tie a rakhi on Neal. She found it cute.

'Neal where is my gift' Geet smiled at the scene in front of her.Tears were in her eyes when she felt a tap on her shoulder. Geet turned to see Yash, Adi and Pinky. Adi and Pinky were finally told where Geet was by Geet herself. But she made them promise to be discreet when visiting her. She didn't want anyone from her past except those two to be in her life.

'Humne Rakhi nahi bandogi kya?' asked Adi and yash together and pulled there arm out in front of Geet. Geet was a little suprised more than shocked.

'Matlab'

'Geetuuu, your like our sister. You have always been a little sister to me Geet' said Adi

'And for me, well you were my friend but now your my sister so hurry up and tie the Rakhi'

Geet smoled and had tears in her eyes. She tied the Rakhi on Adi and Yash arm. She had her whole family with her. Two brothers in Adi and Yash, and two siblings in the form of Neal and Nikki, a sister in Pinky and a child in her womb. How could she be alone? How could she not say she did not have a family.

Adi and Yash started to walk off when Geet stopped them

'Ek Minute' Both stopped in there tracks.

'My gift' Geet said smiling. Adi and Yash turned around. and the next she knew, flower petals of different colours were being thrown on her. and then Adi presented her with a silver bracelet. Yash gave her a document.

'Yash what is this?'

'Its.. first promise you will take it. Its a gift from a brother to a sister'

'But'

'no buts'

'Its 25% shares in the company'

'Yash.. I can't'

'Geet you promised' Yash said talking like a child and stamping his foot.

'But why do i need this?'

'Geet if anything happens to me, I need you to be secure with your future and with your child'

'But nothing will happen to you Yash don't speak like that' Geet said annoyed.

'Oh my, mere pyari se behen naraz hogayi'

Geet smiled as Yash made a funny face to make her laugh. Adi and Pinky laughed too.

'its like this Geet, 50% shares were on my name and 50% for the children. now we have 25% each. And if something does happen to me the 25% I own will go to Pari for holding on trust for the kids and herself' (LOOOL>> BEEN REVISNG EQUITY AND TRUSTS)

Maan meanwhile had been going restless searching for Geet. He knew Adi and Pinky had been meeting her. His face showed his anxiety. he was taking his anger out on himself on others. No one wanted to be near MSK. He tried to follow Adi but always lost them. He had enough. He needed to find Geet and will find her.

Pari had arrived the following day. Geet and Pari were shocked. Yash explained to Pari what happened. Pari was in tears and she understood why Geet refrained from telling Maan the feelings she possessed. Pari knew Geet was right. But how long? She saw the longing in Geet;s eyes.

That evening when Geet went to sleep Pari spoke with yash. She saw the love between them. She told yash that no matter what happens, She will sort it out. No matter what.

The following Day, Dev had decided no matter what he will tell Maan the truth no matter what Naintara said. She had left and thats all what matters. Guilt was eating him up inside. He left to see Maan when his car had an accident.

Maan ran to the hospital. Luckily Dev had no serious injuries. Maan was leaving with Dev when the winds blew and he felt an unknown feeling that Geet was here somewhere. He turned around and saw Geet with Yash and Pari. She was smiling and laughing. Maan smiled as he saw her laugher. She seemed happy full of life. She She had come with Pari and Yash for a checkup that morning. She was so busy talking to them. Maan noticed her physical change as well. He then walked towards her. Geet smiled and laughed at the teasing of Yash by Pari when she felt something an unknown feeling. Her heartbear was increasing. She felt Maan was here. She looked up and saw Maan. Time stopped for both of them. Yash and Pari looked up to and saw both of them. Tears clouded Maan and Geet's eyes. The corridor was silent. It was like no one was there. Maan walked forward towards Geet and Geet towards Maan. Unanswered questions feelings love. Geet was about to reach Maan when she bashed into someone.

'I'm sorry' He said looking at Geet and then he was shocked.

'Geet' He whispered. Geet looked at him and said 'Dev' All her past memories came running back to her. Her fake marriage, her life, her brother attempts of killing her, her pregnancy. Anger came into Geet's eyes. Dev felt remorse and guilt.

'Geet i've been looking for you for days since i saw you in Delhi. I wanted to say apolgise I know that I...'

Geet without thinking took her hand out and slapped him so hard. Maan who saw the whole commotion was shell shocked. Dev and Geet knew eachother. How? What happened?

'Say sorry? Does Sorry even cover it Dev? What you did to me? You spineless B**tard ' Geet yelled. Yash and Pari came running over to Geet.

'Geet' Pari began as she recognised Dev. 'Dev tum'

'Pari you'

'Pari how do you know this man?' asked Geet confused.

'I met him when i came to see Maan remember the day i left and' Pari said holding Geet's hand.

'whats going on?' asked Maan who came forward lost and confused. Geet looked at Yash and he understood

'He is the one' asked Yash

'Yes' Geet said before passing out. The emotional turmoil was too much. Yash grabbed her and put her on the bench. Pari sat with her. Yash went to Dev and punched him a few times. Maan tried to stop him but it was no use. Anger was in yash's eyes

'How could you do this to her?' He yelled between punches. a few ward boys came to stop the commotion.

'What did he do and how does Geet know him?' asked Maan.

'He is the one who ruined Geet's life' screamed Yash.

'what do you mean?' asked Maan confused. He saw Geet state. Her face was pale as she was sitting on the bench. The doctor came. Pari and Yash took Geet to the doctor ignoring Maan question. Maan then turned to Dev, who was brusied and bloodied up.

'Dev. SPEAK NOW' Maan yelled. Dev decided enough was enough. He told the whole story to Maan. By the end Maan's hands was on Dev's collar. He punched him twice. Ward boys had to hold him back

'I CAN'T BELIVE YOUR MY BROTHER. YOU DID THIS TO HER. AND LEFT HER PREGNANT SO HER FAMILY COULD KILL HER'

now it dev's turn to be shocked.

'PRegant, bro she never' Dev began.

'DEV' He screamed. Dev was horrified and shocked. Maan was upset and anger. Guilt was in his heart. Dev did this to Geet. He hurt Geet. Dev was the reason. He misunderstood Geet.

'Bro please'

Maan didn't listen to Dev. Dev walked out dejectedly. Maan then walked to the doctor's office. Geet was not in there. Pari and Yash were outside crying.

'How will we tell her?' asked Yash

'She was so excited. She faced the world and now' Pari began.

'What happened?' asked Maan. Pari got up she was angry.

'what do you care? That girl loved you so much and you threw her out of your life. I knew how much she loved you. You want to know why i left that night, because i saw how much love she had for you. I told her to tell you, but for you, so she doesnt ruin your life, she placed a rock on her heart and never told you. And Now look at her, she was broken but she picked herself up. AND NOW, her baby's life in in danger because of your brother, its all your FAULT MAAN SINGH KHURANA the man i thought was my hero, is the brother of the man who ruined my friends life'

'Pari please i never knew'

'never knew, fine i agree but you are so rich why did Dev have to do this?' Maan knew the answer in a way it was his fault.

'Please Pari is Geet alright.'

The doctor then came out

'who is the baby's father?' asked the doctor

Everyone was silent.

'I AM' Maan said. Yash and Pari was shocked. They had thought Maan would take Dev's side. He would protect his flesh and blood. But maybe they were wrong.

'and you are?' asked the doctor
