Makers wud never be able to convince fans and above all they wud never be able to understand why Geet is so much talked about and loved and why fans take it seriously.
Well simple:
1) Geet's initial state is inspired by a social issue which is prevelant in the society and in Punjab it has been an issue close to heart so viewers related to it.
2) Maan Singh Khurana and his character is as perfect as every women wud love to have in her life partner and is nothing less than a prince.
3) Story of Maan and Geet is a combination of story of all those romantic stories "Romeo and Juliet,heer ranhja and even fairy tale stories like Cindrella which viewers have read since ages.
4) The way the story was presented by previous creative team had a major impact on minds and vision of fans and viewers which is the difference..
5) Gurmeet and Drashti,their perfect features which compliment each other and in scientific terms a perfect 10 if evaluated on scale used for finding attractive couples.
Gurmeet and Drashti's immense acting talent added the much needed ingredient to make "Maaneet" and "Geet" irresistable.
COming down to my point:
The effect which was created by previous teams was swallowed,exhausted,ruined and take all those words to explain that
" Their charismatic pair was let down by unfortunate vision of writers and creative team"
Even the present team is repeating the mistake and are infact now considered an even bigger threat becoz they are trying to show Dev a bigger hero than Maan and this wont be accepted at all by fans.
"Keep Dev out of Maaneet relation,as rightly said by fans..even if you bring in Ranbeer Kapoor Hrithik Roshan or any hottie in the B town..still Dev wont be entertained between Maaneet.
Who so ever and how charismatic the actor is no one wud be entertained between Maaneet making them realise...self realisation is what fans love about Maaneet.
I guess this much is enough to let makers know where fans mind state is at and despite being a good track..Geet wud find difficult to sustain and continue running.
A clear cut warning to writers of Geet...
"Either improve your vision for Maaneet or else be ready to pack bags and shut down the series Geet"
