Difference in attitude of all writers of Geet.

My yet another attempt to let Nissar,Star One and others know where they are going horribly wrong despite the new track being very good.

Changing attitude of writers of series Geet..

1) Starting with Mahesh Pandey and others who are presently writing the story and screenplay for series Geet.

Maan and Geet are two souls who dont need anyone to come in between and intervene and tell them what they shud do and what they shud not..self realisation was the biggest strength of the characters Maan and Geet which was intact till the present writers arrived.

The present writers took over just before Mis carriage track began

A) The things which the present writers did horribly wrong were degrading Maaneet relationship for extention of the track and series Geet...

Certainly after MC plot,the writers had enough scope to show some emotional Maan and Geet scenes but you hardly find one or two and rest were created to accomodate Dev's scene which were absolutely disgusting and unwanted as far as fans are concerned.

When fans say shout crib and complain that Maaneet magic is missing they mean Maaneet scenes are missing which are expected..part of the story flow but are not shown by makers becoz writers dont write them..

The present writers have tried their best to show Maan and Geet's love is not that great and have tried to potray Dev as the one smart chap...who understands their relationship better..

If you look back...at the work of present writers,you wont even feel like watching those episodes again...Ved raj and his team too did not do a great job but still their work was watched again becoz of Maaneet wedding and atleast they showed Maaneet free from external and thrid party intervention.

The reason why present writers are the biggest threat to series Geet is for following reason..

1) To fill in airing time they are not ready or willing to think beyond bringing in Dev between Maaneet and in the process irritating Maaneet fans even more...despite knowing Dev's track is not at all loved by fans..and when he comes in between Maaneet it adds to even more frustation for many to switch channels..now that is the extent to which Maan and Geet are loved by fans.

2) If you look at thei past work...now instead of showing Maan giving a surprise to Geet when he wants to convey his message for a new beggining they showed Dev doing it for Maaneet which was hated by fans...

3) Add to it circumstances where Geet was forced to go out with Dev and the writers showed Maan incapable of understanding Geet's state...

4) Followed by the holi sequence and pravachan given by Dev..making you feel for the new writers Dev is a bigger hero than Maan for Geet...

5) All this may have been done becoz Guru was out of station but then there was a better way of presenting everything...if they did not want to create misunderstanding..then they cud have clearly shown a misunderstanding where Geet forgives Dev...in one of the scene instead of all the build up which not only resulted in many loosing hope of anything exciting in future but also many hate the present character of Geet.

Even now you wud find the present writers constantly bringing in Dev between Maaneet and despite a good work done in characterisation of new entries, fans are still hating their work for two reasons:

1) Maan and Geet scenes are not written in a manner how fans expect and now even a fan chosen randomly from a group wud do a better job in explaining how the Maaneet scene shud be written and how it shud be shot..now that is what I call observation and Maaneet are observed that keenly..such is the scenario that tomorrow if I get a chance to direct an episode even my work will be bashed and so to me but then I can gaurantee the number of peple bashing wud be far more less infact irrelevant compared to the ones who are been bashed now..

2) Despite constant and now even a kinder garden student wud realise that fans dont want Dev at all and specially between Maaneet,the writers only to accomodate the new actor and give him some scope in the series are compromising on those two "Gurmeet and Drashti" who are the only reason to watch the show..

All I can say is the present writers dont have an vision for Drashti and Gurmeet and characters Maan and Geet at all and if ever the moderator or any one from technical team reads it shud take it as a feedback and work on it rather than proving their point right becoz if they try to do it..fans wud bother least and wud pass on one message to everyone in team Geet and that wud be

"Finally go to Hell,now we bother least"

I wont say sooner they realise and all that nonsesnse becoz geet has indeed lost its way so badly from the point when geet revealed her truth that one feels Geet can indeed be a case study for Management professional and those who do courses in Media and film making to learn how one shud design plots,study impact of ignoring fans feedback and what not to do when you have leads who are as much loved as Drashti and Gurmeet.

2) Ved raj and team joined when the attitde and instruction of Starone was give quantity do hell with quality..so they can be spared...and Star One shud be held responsible but then money is money..so no comments...but Ved and his team sacrificed Maaneet moments to add other parallel tracks...which too wasnt appealing

3) By far the real heroes who wud be sitting and either feeling bad sad or happy if they were forced to leave the show Geet..

Swati,Vincent,Priya and Mrinal and to some extent creative head and script supervisor Devyani Khanna...all these made sure that they gave a new vision in terms of Maan and Geet and they tried their best and complimented the best to the hard work,image and chemistry of Drashti and Gurmeet as a pair...

Exploring and using the pair's charismatic effect to its best...


Directors Maan Singh,Noel Smith,Sundeep Sharma,Nissar Parvez are the pillars...


All I can say at the end of the article is...

" Fans shud not expect wonders from the new team and now shud be prepared to either stop watching the show or if patient enough then enjoy what ever is served becoz that is the best fans wud get out of the creative brilliance of the present team of writers and teachnical team..

I hope the changing attitude of writers and the article is taken in a positive manner to work on what is lacking and as a feedback from a passionate Drashti Dhami fan

It is the writers prerogative......If he wants to compare the destiny of two brothers..... They need to show Dev also onscreen for a while....Rise of one brother compared to fall of other and Vice versa makes a compelling situation and adds to good drama........

Why don't you give the writers some time to unveil the story before passing judgement.......Else we will watch MSK bare chested all day......😕

well 40 days is a short time I guess...for all..anyways..it is the way they are handling Maaneet scenes is what I wrote against...

I travel daily for 4 hours...between Poona and Daund with my laptop as well..so I have nothing else to do but write when I am travelling..

It was a good episode indeed but then what I had written in the morning is now proved by the new writers and director in their work.

I had written that the new writers and director lacks vision and that talent to show Maaneet romance and even Maaneet reunion cannot save series Geet from ending prematurely if the present team of writers dont put in efforst while designing Maaneet scenes and the new director repeats "Maan Singh the director's style of presenting Maan and Geet.

I am not negative but I am warning team Geet and its creative members not to ignore fans feedbacks this time..

Now why am I confident that after Maaneet reunion and in few days fans on this page will start feeling Maaneet romance was never as bad as it wud be in future to visualise.

Here is the scenario in today's Geet:

Geet comes back home and knows Maan was in pain and had a fight.....

Irrespective of what so ever is the stage of relationship and no matter how angry geet is...

Had it been the previous writers Swati and Vincent or had it been me the writer and since I am completely dedicated to the series I would have shown..


1) Geet getting restless and rushing to kitchen to prepare malham for Maan her hubby chupke chupke and feels his love as Maan faught for her pride and she feels the pain as Maan had bruises on his body...she recollects those moments of fights and burst into controlled tears where she cant see Maan in pain..she is in her room and her body language such that she feels like finally not caring for anyone and barge in Maan's room to apply malham...but refrains from doing it...

What makers showed was deadly behaviour of Geet and I understand why?

They wanted to include scene of beeji where beeji and the pammi remind Geet that Balwant was injured and he was in pain...making Geet realise..that her hubby was alone...

"The biggest mistake the present writers are doing and it wud never ever appeal fans..

Lack of self realisation on part of Geet and Maan wud never ever appeal fans and by showing other characters making Maan and Geet realise..the makers are only asking for trouble as these characters wud not be ther in future and those who wud be there wud have lost their charisma..and certainly it is Maan and Geet..

These are minute details which even Nissar wont give it to professionals and is expected to be known naturally..

Small minute observations..well this is what created the Maaneet magic in past...and this is what is desired by fans...


even today...a scene was added to give importance to Dev and that he was kind enough to make Geet understand.

The present writers are taking away this self realisation character of Maan and Geet which has been the major factor why fans love Maan and Geet and beleive in their love..

It is the feeling and what previous writers have shown.

" Love for Geet in Maan's eyes and respect for Maan in Geet's eyes."


Now the episode ends with Geet coming close to Maan...

There were no signs of pain shown by the writers and directors who are responsible to ask Drashti to bring out some feeling in her eyes where she feels the pain.....

Now had it been me the writer or director or Maan Singh then:

Ideally the episode wud hav ended with a close look of Drashti and tears in her eyes with a feeling of pain....before she gives Maan a final warning....

Well how the episode ended we all know...

This attempt is not to complain every now and then but to remind the writers and directors that writing for Maan and Geet is not just another job and directing just another series.

Irrespective of how good or experienced you are in your work unless you have the vision for characters....and specially for Maaneet you wont be able to create that magic..

As far as fans are concerned there is only one message..

" Expect less from this team and henceforth if no other option then stop watching the show for once and for all,becoz makers and channel will never listen and understand what a passionate Maaneet fan can"

As every episode out of the creative minds of these creative team comes out fans beleif and trust wud be fading and one thought will become firm

" All good things come to an end and good days of Geet are now over once and for all"

before you bash me for writing this article..think once....if I am wrong and to help you think and take decision

Recollect three scenes:

1) When Maan holds Geet's hand while she offers the bottle which clearly lacked close looks of actors with expressions and which cud have been easily shown.

2) When Geet is shown having food on the table and literaaly no feeling for Maan and instead asks Pammi that she will serve food to lucky..

3) No signs of pain shown by the writers when the episode ended...

Now consider these plots which were shown and then compare it to what I wud have shown or Swati wud have shown..

Friends I wont loose anything..but if you feel and relate to it...instead of bashing me becoz Vikrant Khatri has writtten an article...

Think over the points have mentioned..and then revisualise and comment what wud have appealed more..

1) What was shown in Geet today

or

2) What I wud have shown or Swati and Maan wud have shown had they been around..
