It is only my attempt to make the makers realise and give an idea how fans felt for the series Geet and which treatment of theirs appealed more to fans.
Story or my observation about attitude and makers way of making Geet has changed from
"Concentrating only on Maan and Geet to sacrificing Maan and Geet's character and things which appeal fans for extention and inclusion of parallel tracks."
Attitude has changed from a proper and in deep vision for Maan and Geet to a formal and just ok or casual attitude to incorporate other tracks which are made look of no use or like an unwanted body part which has now found cancer and is increasing day by day.
Yes,unwanted tracks and scenes increasing day by day and paralysing and making the main body disfunctional and no more good enough to work..
That is the case indeed...Maaneet scenes are now not properly planned and even the story flow does not have a serious thought over how an indeep elaboration of Maaneet scenes can be done and rather a very sub standard ( which is only becoz the track is part of Geet) track is introduced which will give scope to oterh characters which was in plenty and and not desired at all..
Example:
1) Be it a case where Maaneet Wedding and its fun was ruined to bring in Arjun and Annie track which had literally no meaning,nit even liked for filling gap when Maaneet scenes were not there..had it been Adi Pinky and other office scenes with fun then things wud have been different.
2) Even now,the writes are least bothered about Maaneet realtionship and makers are busy fooling fans to include other parallel tracks,forgetting that fans have reached a stage where a sudden down fall in popularity,TRP's and success of show Geet will be witnissed in near future despite Maaneet reunion and other Maaneet scenes..
Reason for this claim and being confident about it?
The present creative team has shown signs of incompetancy in handling Maaneet scenes with class and touch of writing and scene designing which was still there when Ved raj was around..ruining Geet with his unwanted characters AA...
Maan Singh the director was still there to hold on fans..
But Maan Singh has left and now it is an entirely new team working on Geet..
But now neither the writers and nor the director has that "thingee" in them to assure and impress fans..making me say...
" Good Old days of Geet wont return without atleast one person from old technical team in each department guiding and suggesting the new team"
Another firm reason wud be:
Geet;s character damaged beyond repair and even if shown good later on,still a high number wud not accept her role or character for long now since she has indeed lost connectivity with fans who cant relate to her..
Future tracks dont promise scope for Geet to win back hearts of fans as writers continue to ignore thoughts of fans and continue to show Geet right and her unnecessary attitude right which is irritating fans now and making her loose even more connectivity..
An indeep observation for technical team of Geet to learn and realise how fans found the change in attitude in the makers of Geet over a period of time.
From Episode 1 to 46 Geet was in a build up state for Maan and Geet's romance..to flourish....it was a new series so no one bothered and had patience to see what was new in the series..where people like me did not even bother to have a look at it becoz the fact it was a daily soap was enough for many not to like it.
Came Episodes 47 to 130:
The time period when story was only and only about Maan and Geet and just Maan and Geet with other characters flaoting around for few minutes..
This was a natural station or a plot which had to come as Maan and Geet were falling in love...the plot where Maan and Geet's love was defined by the writers Mrinal,Priya,Swati and Vincent....
Why was it loved..becoz:
1) The story was only about Maan and Geet,the scenes were shot like never seen before,perfect writing to describe emotions of Maan and Geet,perfect flow to the story line where in deep thought and consideration was given to Maan and Geet scenes and their scenes were the highlight..
2) Came Episode 131 to Episode 170 I guess..may be one or two more or less...
Noel Smith had left,but Vincent and Swati continued,,,Maaneet magic and story consistency was never like before and fans were not happy..but still Swati and Vincent managed to create the Maaneet magic in whatever scenes they thought for Maan and Geet...
Fans were still loving the show,though not like it was before..but still it was a show which cannot be ignored...
Where they went wrong were two plots:
A) Geet revealing her pregnancy truth too early and possible tracks while Maan and Geet were falling in love were missed out and hence possible stretching of Maaneet falling in love track was left with no scope.
B) Maan,Dev and Geet confrontation too early was a result of few mistakes by writers and unfortunate hospitalisation of Gurmeet...
But it certainly had major impact on long run of the series...
Fans did crib and complained but that was to inform and give feedback to the writers and not to force them to leave...but Swati left and so did Vincent
3) Came Episodes 171 to 250 odd I guess when Ved Raj and his team came in and starone's most disgusting decision for earning more money of airing Geet for 6 days was decided..and put to force...
Ved Raj and team made the first inrodes when they worked upon parallel track of Arjun and Annie which came during "Maaneet Wedding" which was much anticipated but was completely ruined as fans were left irritated to watch AA nonsense and bare them..and unfortunately when it was time for "Maaneet Wedding"
Fans did demand more and something unfair but then how wud the makers justify the love they got in return,the priority they got in return and assurance that their series wud be at the top and the best...
Makers abused the love,assurance and support of fans as they continued torturing fans with AA nonsense,had it been a cute love story aboout Maan's sister then it wud have been great to see..but writers Ved and others did bring in typical daily soap shit in terms of AA track and in the process
" First contamination of the series Geet"
May be they were asked to do so..but then for 171 episodes and close to 130 episodes..
Fans who were addicted to watching only and only Maan and Geet found very very difficult to accept this change and decline in airing time of Maan and Geet scenes which was a result of 6 days airing plan of Star One..which degaraded quality..loss of fans and more importantly it ruined
"Brand Geet,Brand Maaneet and Brand Drashmeet"
The TRP reports during this phase wud prove my point which was wrote before during and even afterwards to make the makers realise their attitude while planning future tracks lacks feel and vision and more importantly has no complimneting vision which fans want to see for Drashti and Gurmeet.
4) Came Episode 251 and still on:
Maan Singh the only director has either left or is on a break and the technical team now has new writers and directors who may or may not have vision for Drashti and Gurmeet..
Came Manish and others who did a good job in bringing in fresh storyline but in the process have ignored the USP of the show Maan and Geet and have unfortunately pushed the show even more is mess and deep shit...
New characters are good the story has fun aspect but then who wants to see it if
" Who wants to see it if Maan and Geet scenes lack that passion and planning,if their scenes are written with no freedom for their romance to flourish...if the scenes are shot in a manner which makes the hard work of Drashti and Gurmeet look normal and unappealing."
My gut feeling says...even Maaneet reunion wont be passionate enough and the new team wud rather concentrate more on the
"Amritsar track,Dev or who so ever coming in as fake Maan and less on Maan and Geet romance and their love story"
Such is the passion and desire of fans that now many want a lip lock which is practically impossible during prime time zone and even if Star decides a special show for Maaneet reunion and Suhaagraat,actors Drashti and Gurmeet's personal reservations shud be respected.
In all this I feel makers of Geet shud consider a new story line,season two as an option and above all creating the same contrast in characters and make Gurmeet and Drashti fall in love again.
Yes: Gurmeet and Drashti fall in love again,becoz it is the desire to see Drashti and Gurmeet together for ever and in each others arms which is driving the craze and the show and whatever agitation,retaliation,complains and concerns are been expressed as only for this reason.
Fans want a vision which can show Gurmeet and Drashti together atleast on small screen becoz that is the only place where they can be seen in each others arms and together for ever when ever fans open their eyes and watch them..
For now smart use of camera angles to show
1) Passionate Maaneet reunion
2) Passionate Suhaagraat is needed which needs to be properly planned..
Fans wud calm down on reunion for sure..but for long term running of this series...channel and creative team has to work upon a story track which offers scope
" Only for Drashti and Gurmeet and scope to explore and bring out bright colours out of this charismatic pair which this writing team will not be able to for sure"
If you really wanna continue for long then bring in those who actually feel for the characters Maan and Geet.
Trust me this is not asking too much...it is only what were served with till date and half the journey of the series and makers,actors and channel cannot expect fans to compromise.
Becoz with Maan and Geet expectations are too high and to live upto that expectations and earn more and more not just now but also in future,you need the right men to work on your series...
Take this as a challenge and not just to makers but fans as well...
" you wont find the same passion again in Maaneet scenes if those scenes are planned and designed by the present team of writers and if not now you will register your concern here"...
Waiting to check if my prediction is proved right yet again like my predictions did when
1) I wrote " Sharukh Salman and Akshay wud be wondering what next in Geet"
when after episode 100 I had warned the makers and requested the moderator to pass on my message to writers and request them to stretch the plot where Maan and Geet were falling in love ...but she did not and series started its downfall
2) When I wrote three blunders by Nissar Parvez when I had warned Nissar about the side effects of bringing horrible twists in Maaneet marriage and specially introduction of AA track..but the result was evident in falling TRP's despite Maaneet wedding was going to be aired but fans did not enjoy it...
3) Or when I wrote 5 questions to Nissar Parvez asking him why he took those 5 horrible decisions which took Geet to some unwanted and underacheived track..
4) Or when I had warned team Geet that they are moving away from basic feel and are turning Geet into typical nonsesnse daily soap.
5) Or when I had said the holi sequence is not a turning point for the betterment of the series but is a point where series will loose its passionate fans if not TRP's and it is now evident in rankings of Gurmeet and Drashti and wud be soon felt even stronger when series Geet looses its advantage for ever this time..
Consider this what ever you want....as I wait and watch if fans after few days feel and relate to if I was right....

I am donr with 151 episodes of Geet season 2 and I am not a professional but still I have tried my best to give my concerns and desires and thoughts a vision for Drashti and Gurmeet and that Vision for Drashti and Gurmeet is in the above link which ensures what fans want and I have tried my best to give it in my work.
