Although his entrance into this track was just about the shortest cameo ever LOL .. I guess it was just to have Geet know that Darji is there and cares for her .. that he understands her situation .. and he is there to tell her everything will be okay and she should resolve it ..

but yes I felt he should've stayed a little while longer .. but then how else would Dev be thrashed by Tej? 😆 Darji would recognize from miles away who Dev is .. and so they don't mistake him for Maan.
