Okay, so whatay googly thrown at us huh, with devini story..
just some quick points about epi and then about dev.
1. Pammi- Geet- contradictory similarity
Both women are equally lonely right now...even though their husbands are with them.
While Pammi- Teji have little or no affectionate r'ship showing; Geet and Maan put each other sar-aankhon-par and show it too...although right now, Geet is a little hesitant.
Pammi yearns for company, which is perhaps why she talks to everyone who listens, and so people go around shutting her up all the time she starts to talk.
Geet was so lonely that she used to talk to herself
As it was maan who brought her in close contact with herself as well by appreciating her inner beauty, she has been contacting much more with maan- who understands exactly what she wants to convey. Geet , now, because of this deeper miscommunication that happened- lost contact with herself...and so was not interacting with anyone..including herself(no self-talks)
When maan came back- she has been talking to herself more, and to him...the real convos she has are with him, and herself only.
Eager for company, pammi sought geet today and eagerly called her in the room-where they might converse- but geet was worried about maan.
not one who's easy to open up again...geet needs to be opened up by maan and maan-geet love rekindling only.
We saw Geet trying to hide her smile yday...we saw geet's self-talk today in a humourous vein..she's slowly getting there..getting in contact with herself again and in this way, paradoxically coming out of her shell
2.Maan and Geet found another connection- they are worried over daarji coming.
While Teji is only used to giving orders and being efficient; maan has learnt to talk- be a little soft inside..and he's butter for his geet anyway..
We see, maan hiding his face with the stupidest of excuses and Geet going into panic self-talk mode where she said such a funny line-
barry that was hilarious!
and kinda shows she is not really angry now..but acting as wives do- khaaoing faaltu ka bhaaw but only worried about him right now.
So now daarji is here and i feel he might be cupid only..maan's ally :P i guess it might redeem him-showing concern and love about his grand-daughter's life- the same he had ordered to be taken from her.
3.About Dev- Nandini
Again... everyone jumping to conclusions about dev getting a love interest.
Who knows, this girl might actually make him work hard once she knows- he will have to literally win her heart again..even if she falls in love with him- she's not meera. And she's geet's sister- there is a purpose to the entry...and we don't know what it is.
It could be the true redemption of dev.
So..I'm gonna sit with a pack of popcorns and watch the show...Seriously, the show needed a comic love track also and yep- a pretty parallel one of brothers makes perfect sense to me.
Adi is a friend and all but an employee as well- not msk's brother at the end of the day. this one will be interesting and might diverge into quite an interesting track..so why not see how it turns out?
Geet- the victim, the victim's husband, the victim's family has forgiven the criminal. He has i feel finally been given a solid track to prove himself as a good man- and yep, everyone makes humungous mistakes and does huge gunaahs. It is only the victim who is responsible for forgiving the perpetrator.. and if Geet has decided to let go..i think so should we.
Although, im being devil's advocate here- honestly because i find it quite interesting from the story POV...:D
So, no im not advocating that 'rapists'- technical term from layman's POV- be alloed to let lose on all girls but that it is too technical and intricate an issue to be sorted out by a simple daily romance-drama.
Also, NT and Brij were punished for repeated murder attempts at Geet- Not because of the honour code or anything. although in brij's case- that is the reason it happened.
The cause wasn't punished- which is why daarji is free. It is the individual who commits a crime for that cause. Dev, being a man will probably not bear the brunt of the crime- because conveniently he has held NT responsible for everything.
But his weakness was lust and it became his sin. he is trying to atone himself of it..and let him try.
Perhaps Nandini is important from this POV..
I dunno about that for sure, just speculating
I do like the interesting turning in the story and yep so many others who had left watching the show are watching it again and loving it..so they are doing something right at least from their own perspective.
4. AKHADA?
Today's episode saw some interesting developments- Daarji coming- for a purpose of course; 2 days mein lucky ka tournament hai- oo akhada and all- we have a maneet scene coming there for sure...
have mentioned it before- i wish we see maan getting hurt at first, fighting from lucky's side- because he's still down and hurt. And, gets beaten but when geet sees him and he sees geet- a mahi scene and she shouts with pain or something, or looks at him with pain- he starts winning.
Later, since he's hurt, she goes and wipes the blood with..umm..her dupatta what else? and puts marham on his wounds lovingly..awww
Barry- good dialogues yesterday, hehe loved them!
And really looking forward to the track
ok epi today- although no maneet..we had slow and steady progress of geet to her former self and introductions...
