GHSP = Geet hui Shrew PH ke liye

Kya se kya ho gaya - Geet ek soft spoken ladki se ban gayi shrew.

With this new track we now see not just the tranformation of Geet but also her story. The CVs have gone mad- they've completely changed Geet and her story. From a story about an innocent victim seeking justice, someone who refuses to be defined by her victimhood, one who forges a new life and identity we now get a story that has become a cross between Taming of the Shrew and Chori Chori!
In the process, Geet who never let her travails sour her postive outlook on life has become a SHREW now needing to be tamed by her husband!
So GSHPs becomes the taming of Geet! In the process we get a bunch of characters who will never be allowed to grow or develop, their sole purpose is to become puppets in the hands of the Cvs who themselves are puppets in the hands of an uncaring channel that only wants to chase TRPs and the money that they will bring. The result is a story that has finally keeled over after its tumultuous ride from the sublime to the ridiculous in the last few months.

It's all because of the distastefully shot promo where Geet says she won't forgive Maan. But promos are misleading.

This is going the same way their first MU did. D'you remember, Geet ran behind Maan apologizing, but he kept ignoring her and then revealed that he was afraid he wasn't the right person for her?

It's the same here...I think Geet feels that she has brought nothing but misery to him and his family and wants to go away from him...


We haven't heard Geet's self-talk yet. We haven't heard what she has to say to Maan yet.

I agree the story was in a mess. But maybe there's still some hope. Let's give the cvs the benefit of the doubt?

I take your point about precaps being misleading. As you say we'll have to see what the Cvs come up with. Neverthless, the story has changed, don't you think?

Yep, the story has changed...I do agree about characters being brought in out of the blue, but their purpose forgotten along the way(ex. Arjun)..The social message that the show claimed to portray fading into just another tv soap story...

I've stopped expecting too much and am just going with the flow. Neither praising nor complaining.
The GC DD chemistry has me hooked, that's all.

Same, here - I'm only staying with the show for M and G, as I guess as a large number of viewers on this forum are. But to be honest even that chemistry is beginning to fray a bit at the edges...
